Apart from the main protagonist there are many others too who can be good examples of virtue. It is sad to see history forget them.

mandavi and shrutakirti atleats had Bharat and sathrughna beside them, tehy were happier, although they lead the life of sacrificing earthly treasure, but none had to sacrific ehr life and her love like urmila

after watching epi of feb28,08 i understood Urmilal partly was resonsible. laxman had spoken to her that he could never make her happy but urmila didn't want to complain
still i think in some ways, urmila had patience just like her sister sita

I agree with you its me tan! A slightly off topic comment: Even in the epic "Devdas". Neither Paro nor Chandramukhi got what they wanted. They both lived their lives like sanyasinis later on. The focus on the epic was on the smug Devdas, who drank himself to death without bothering about the two ladies!

urmila ws pregnant...thts the first time i hav heard of it...whn i read ramayan..i think (as far as i rmber..i mayb wrong).it ws written tht ..whn lakshmana...told her tht he ws going..he expected tht lik her sis..she wud also wantto acompany him..but she refused..nd said tht he ws going to serve rama nd sita...nd she wud b a distraction fr him..he shud give his whole devotion to rama nd sita..sita ws going becoz ramji had got vanavaas nd she ws his wife ..but lakshmana ws going to serve them he had to give his whole attention to them..so she wud wait fr him ..he ws going as a devotee to the lord nd a wife doesn't accompany one in such things...

i just don't rmber the words..but they were sumthing of this kind..

well,as we all know, that lakshmanji was ever dedicated to lord rama and just like that urmila was emotionaly very attached to sita devi.devi sita accompanied bhagwan ramchandraji to the forest but lakshmanji convinced urmila to stay back and look after his parents and family.the obidient urmila, without complaning, obeyed her husband's instructions and accepted the separation of 14 long years from her husband.but i didn't find any referance of urmila carrying lakshmanji's child at that time.as far as,i know children were born to them after lakshmanji returned from the exile of 14 years.i may be wrong, but this what i know.we all know about the tragic life of shri ramchandraji and devi janki.when it comes to sacrifices,we can't forget lakshmanji and his darling wife urmila.they too suffered separation.
now, ramanyan(the serial) is going to enter into the age of separation.the marriege and celebration will end very soon and shri ram will be banished to forest along with sitaji and lakshmanji.urmilaji and lakshmanji will be separated for 14 years.the cruel ravana will separate lord ram from his beloved wife sita.here, prince bharat will spend his life as monk in nandi gram.the king dashrath will die and the queens will be widowed.the royal family will sink into grief till shri ram returns.its truely said"RAM KAHANI-KEHAT SUNAT AWE AKHIYON MEIN PANI" 😭 JAI SHRI RAM
