They should show Ravana's life as they are showing sita's life.
Sita was introduced only at the time of Syamvar in Classic Ramayan ( Ramanand Sagar's ).
I think as far as Ravana is concerned, they'll only show when Saroopnakha will go with her half cut nose to her.
thats the point some of us are trying to make
its absolutely ridiculous to show things in this way, it reduces the antiprotaginist to a mere one dimensionla character. These people were humans after all and each have an interesting story of his/her to depict. and they have been described with lavish ness in the original valmiki Ramayan

I hope they show Ravan participating in Sita swayamwar.
And after that they can show more about ravan in flashback mode...or a flashback mode at vanvas time.
whatever it is, i hope they donto diminish his importance , he is definitelya pivotal character and basical teh symbol of everything opposite to Ram, the evil natures a human being is constantly fighting

i feel, ravana should have given some chunks of early periods too. whatever the show makers decide. But since he is a gooddeal elder tahn Rama nd at the time of famous war a good deal more powerfull, i just hope that his side of teh story is brought soon too
it is made as per tulsidas ji's ramayan............
not "ravanayam"......

I know Ravan is a pivotal character. In Tulsidasji'Shri Ram Charit Manas Ravan has also lot of "importance". I think he writes about Ravan from Aranya Kand.
