uptill noe, the main focus of ramayan has been on lord ram. his childhood, boyhood and now its edging gradually towards his marriage? my question is when are they going to show the advent of Ravana? Ravana is a significant character and also the big abd villain of Ramayana. he has a long fold story of life that is both excitinga nd adventurous. But when are the show makers going to bring him?

is it possible that after showing a large chunk of lord ram's life, till the first days of vanabas, we will be given rewind to see ravana, his birth, his emergence, his climb to power? it cannot be denied taht ravan needs speacial treatment?

i feel, ravana should have given some chunks of early periods too. whatever the show makers decide. But since he is a gooddeal elder tahn Rama nd at the time of famous war a good deal more powerfull, i just hope that his side of teh story is brought soon too

In ramayana, ravana appears only during Lord Rama's exile. The demons Subahu and Marich are Ravan's demons whom Lord Ramma killed. We should not forget that this is an epic and also a reality so we should not expect any character anytime and anywhere in a storyline. they have either own place in Ramayana

but ravan appears long before than that. it is infact the rampant destructions under ravana and his men that made humans come togetehr under aryan rulers like dasarath.there is a definite and different nagle to his part also.

now that we are talking about elaborated details i feel we can show ravana some importance too

In the older Ramayan, Ravana only made his appearance after the Shurpanakha episode, when she goes to complain to him about her cut nose. Ravan is introduced with a lengthy song : LANKESHWAR RAJESHWAR HE DASHAANAN HE DASHAANANA - being glorified by his courtiers and raj-nartakis

Since this new Ramayan apperas to follow the screenplay of the older version, I suspect Ravana would only enter much later! A real pity since Ravana's story is really interesting and need proper treatment (after the serial Raavan messed it up completely). BR Chopra's Ramayan showed Ravana early in the serial, and made his story parallal to Rama's, Of course there were inaccurasies galore. Lets hope Sagar's set the record straight and give us a more authentic version.

In Uttar Khand of Valmiki's Ramayan, sage Agastya explains to Ram about Ravan's past. But, if the story of Ravan is shown after he is shown dead, then it will not be that interesting. Therefore, I wish that Sagars show the past story of Ravan (through rewind) before that.

even if they do not show it parallely, i feel its high time the showmakers dedicate a chunk of episode time for Ravan. its kind of weird when sudenly a supwer power creeps upa nd tehre is no mention of him earlier

definitley, it will be much better if his life story is not described after his death.
besides i think the fame of this king was spreak far and wide in aryabharata
ac to some puranas, he even came for sita's swayambar but got repelled by the dhanush
