In the original story, Lakshman was first offered the Yuvraj role, and Rama only offered it to Bharat after Lakshman repeatedly declined it. But in this serial, they showed Bharat being offered the title, then him suggesting Lakshman and Shatrughan, and them declining and handing it back to him.

But if this was going to be what the Sagars wanted to run with, they should have shown Lakshman accepting the yuvraj, so that Bharat & Mandavi could get lost a few episodes after Sita's vanvas (last time they showed her I believe was that episode where Rama was having images of Sita appear before him w/o his kids - the one where all 4 bros & families were shown eating)

Well, he's back. Now that the IPL is over, he can join Rama and revolt against his idea of a Rajasuya yagna.

Incidentally, I have no idea re: whether in the original Valmiki, he objected to the Rajasuya or not, but the way he stridently opposed Rama last night was shockingly rude, and out of character for him. Had Rama chosen to embark on such a conquest, Bharat would have gone along with it.

Good job Sagar Arts for bringing them altogether like they should be. After Ramji comes back to Ayodhya the brothers do not separate except for a few years here and there. They stay together until the Jal Samadhi.

Also for the ignorant person who gave the interview that they would drown in the lake, here is what I have to say:

1. Sayaru is not a lake
2. Samadhi is a specific term for ending ur life. All great saints have taken samadhi. It is a yogic end that only the really great can accomplish. So, there is a vast difference ordinary drowning and Samadhi.
3. When Ramji and his brothers take Samadhi they go back to Vaikunt.
Please understand our scriptures before giving ignorant interviews.
