Bharat( vijay) still missing ....

Yup, if they were not planning any major roles for Bharat, then at Rama's raj-abhishek itself, why didn't they 'tweak' the yuvraj part of the coronation and simply shown Lakshman accepting the position? In that case, Bharat & Mandavi missing wouldn't look so strange.

And let's say the old Shrutakirti left, why introduce a new one in the first place if she's not going to be w/ her husband in Mathura? Why not simply delete her from all scenes like Bharat and Mandavi? Strange (screen) family this - one bahu (Sita) insists on accompanying her husband to vanvas, while another (Shrutakirti) continues living in Ayodhya while her hubby has by now become raja of another kingdom.

Whether they realize it or not, the Sagars are defaming the characters of the Ramayan.

Well, if Bharat is in vanvas, Mandavi should go w/ him, no? It would be even stranger if they were to show Mandavi, but no Bharat. So it's perfectly appropriate that they lose both of them, instead of just 1.

Actually, I have few objections to Bharat missing - it's one of the least egrigeous omissions they've made
