Okay, I googled. There doesn't seem to be much on her - just 3 pages. Just 1 pic I managed to land, that seems to support your theory

So she is pretty active in the Gujrati movie and drama scene, which would explain why she doesn't show up much elsewhere.

Anyway, she was good in the brief roles she played as Dhanyamalini
