Vibhishan says:- This dust is of the place where Lord Sri Ram was born and where he lives. I will put this dust in Lanka so that the place of Lanka, which has become red due to atrocities, becomes pure.
Lavnasur is shown in his palace. Karakti comes there. The womenfolk welcome her but Karkati is angry and throws the plate used for aarti.
Lavnasur - Bhabhi, why are you angry? Have I or any of my attendants done any wrong?
Karkati - Big blunder. I came from Sahyadri not to be welcomed here. I came here to give you the news of the death of your cousins Lankeshwar Ravan and great Kumbhkaran.

Hanuman picks up the sindur.
He thinks - When a thin line of sindur makes Lord happy and gives him longevity, then if I apply it on whole of my body, then Lord will be happy a lot and his life duration will increase manifold.
Hanuman goes to store room and checks the containers there. Finally he finds sindur. When he applies sindur on his body, then sindur starts slipping down. He fixes sindur on his body with the help of ghee and goes to darbar.
The darbaris laugh on seeing him.
jaisaa karne se mile swaami kaa anuraag
sevak vaisaa hi kare, lok-laaj ko tyaag
ho, kaayaa pe sindur lagaaye, garv se kapi darbaar me aaye
karne ko prasann bhagvaan, sinduri ho gaye hanumaan
Ram - Hanuman, what leela is this?
Hanuman - Lord, this is the knowledge given by mother Sita. I have applied sindur on my body in order to make you happy. Mother said that when you see sindur in his mang, then you become happy and you get longevity. I thought that if a thin line of sindur gives you happiness and longevity, then how much more happy you will become and how much longevity you will get if I apply sindur on my whole body.
Ram - Hanuman, you are my true devotee. You are jewel among devotees. Whenever people will talk of devotion, your name will be taken first. Today is tuesday. Therefore whoever applies sindur on Bajrangbali on tuesdays, his desires will be fulfilled. He will make both Bajrangbali and me happy.
