I just watched today's episode. And as Vibs pointed out, after all that drama of getting things ready and even telling the musicians that "Kalaavati is Ram's favourite raaga", Kaikeyee has her doors closed? She wanted the musicians to sing Kalaavati but she herself sang a "Mukhaari" raaga.

And then this episode was centered on Kaikeyee fully.

Why did Mandavi, Urmila, Shrutkirti not come with RBLS & Sita to worship Lord Shiva?

Also I felt too much imp. is being given to Hanuman. As per Valmiki, Hanuman, Jambavan, Vegadarshi & Rishaba bring water from 500 rivers in all directions, Sushen brings water from eastern sea, Rishaba(dont know if its the same as the one who brings water from rivers) from southern sea, Gavaya from western and Nal from northern sea. Not to hurt anyone but then there are various instances that are wrongly portrayed in this serial.

A nice episode today. The emotions of the scenes were brought out very well. Excellent acting by all. Shathrugan looked really mature - it was realistically shown - after the 14 years, the youngest son was more mature than he had been. He too had his share of work and experience.

I am confused with one thing though - are they trying to show Kaikeyi as good or bad?

Did Kaikeyi knowingly send Ram to the forest? And did she knowingly let Sita be kidnapped by Ravan? After knowing that fact did Sita go and hug her in appreciation? 😕

And after waiting so eagerly for Ram, did Kaikeyi send off the maids and musicians so soon. And why did Ram had to open the door to her chambers? Shouldn't it have been open till Ram came to see her? I thought it would have been better if Ram did not have to face a closed door to mother Kaikeyi's chamber.

I wish there would be more scenes between the family members. I had hoped Ram, Sita and Lakshman spending time with each and every one of his family members and some time with Gurudev Vashishta and Gurumata Arundati and spending some time with Sumantra and all would be shown.

Anyway, this serial is evolving into a new version of Ramayan. I had always appreciated all the efforts and hard work put into it and looked upon the serial as a new work of art. Though my views may have been different from the scenes shown in the episodes, it is nevertheless good to watch the serial at all times.

Adhyatma Ramayana says that Kaikeyi was good . The provocation of the QueenKaikeyi by Manthara was not an evil act of her choice as presented in the Valmiki's version Ramayana, but mastered by the goddess Saraswati... may be the serial wants to show on these lines and have supported with a different story shown today.

Agree Shatrughna has grown as an actor😊 , looked quite matured, in fact it is he who is responsible for prosperity of Ayodhya when Rama was in exile and Bharat went to Nandigram.

Btw, after seeing the precap to tomm. episode, I was wondering if the Rajyabhishek will happen tomm....

With Ram visiting Manthara, and now that Hanuman is going to fly to bring water from all sides, I feel they may drag the episode will these incidents, adding to it a couple of family scenes between the others.

So probably Rajyabhishek is set for Monday then................. (I can hear some of you already cursing me for saying this😉)
