In yesterdays episode there was this song about Lanka.

They sang that Urmila promised not to shed tears in 14 years.

However in the episode where urmila goes to bharat she is shown crying.

They have always shown Urmila crying a big time!!! that's not the case. Sagars pls correct this..welll..its too late now!! if i rememeber correctly, in the old Ramayan, girl who played Urmila's character did not shed a single tear!!!

Yeah, Urmila's character was not supposed to cry at all, as she promised Lakshman she would not shed a tear and wait patiently until his return, serving Kaushalya (since Srutakirti was there to serve Sumitra and Mandavi to serve Kaikeyi).

I like how they showed more Urmila/Lakshman scenes in this new Ramayan, but I wish they had not made Urmila cry so much. I mean, a few tears here and there is okay (though it would be best if they left them out), but here Urmila is bawling.

one question, after Laxman killed Inderjeet, did Lord Ram praised Urmila and said that coz her pati-palan vart (something something...) Laxman was able to kill Inderjeet. well, they did not show here clearly???

True it was due to Urmilas pativratya. It was not shown in this ramayn, nor in the old one. But I got this information from the serial Jai veer hanuman.

So, in Jai Veer Hanuman, it is then mentioned? that's great!!
by the way, is this serial Jai Veer Hanuman, the one that they used to show on DD1 or Durdarshan or something like that in India???????????
