I like this DOTW!!! It's quite different in its aspect. Personally I feel u r correct about the Bhagawad Purana vs. Ramayana....but one should also take into consideration the different Yugs Lords Vishnu took birth in for us to consider the ways of life to be followed by humans!!!! But even in the Bhagavad Gita....Shri Krishna tells us that two wrongs will not make a right...but if there is being done wrong to you or any1, where your rights are taken away, take action against that wrong!! And that was in Dwarpa Yug....He did not teach them to sacrifice!!!!! Basically an EYE FOR AN EYE situation...
When our beloved Ramji had wrong done to HIM, from Kaikeya mata, He already knew that it was going to happen as part of fate...because ultimately HIS purpose on earth was to destroy demon king ravan!!!! & this was a way to achieve a mean to an end!!!!! Which is y he did take the proposal of Kaikeya mata, & to fulfill his Father's promise towards Kaikeya mata!!!!! In the Treta yug, Lord Ram taught us to learn to Sacrifice.....If in Treta yug he took as Lord Ram...he had many followers & believers that Ram was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu...from his subjects to his family, Rushi Munis..& even after some time Rakshas family also became aware of HIS being as the Lord himself.....Now if we consider the Dwarapa yug...Shri Krishna had many followers but just as many ppl who did not beleive HE was the LORd....for ex. Duryodhan & his brothers!!!!!! So as time goes by it does get worse....which we as the Kal Yug genre can admit without hesitating!!!! Even in the last Ramayan...when Ramji is shown to assume his True Form....he tells Hanumanji that he shall reside on earth till the end of Kal Yug since times will get harsh & devotees will even have a hard time following the virtuous path.....& further on goes to state that Hanumanji will be here to support the true devotees & basically guide us that just by doint THE LORD's Jaap...we can attain true salvation (more so b/c times are bad for us then it was during Treta & Dwarpa yug).....
From what I can make out from both teachings, is that sometimes a Sacrifice is in disguise for an ultimate purpose....& sometimes Fighting for what's rightfully ours or Fighting for whats right is following the right path.....vs. letting wrong just happenSincerely apologize for making this wrong....but i really like this DOTW & it gave me a perfect chance to say what i think & get a response.....Now this is just my understanding...& if I'm wrong or dont make sense in what i'm sense, please feel free to reply with ur POV....this is to any members!!!! 😊
yeah i agree with your point of view..actually the lines which has been written there in Bhagwath puran has different angle...
the thing is tht...when we talk of Krishnaji..all the words like makhan chor, Nathkhat has been linked with him...
right..na. but ppl..do take it another sense too..
actually let me tell u real life example...
one of my frnd just msg me...Radhe Krishna ...so i reply him back with that then i enquired that is he a great devotee of them...then he just said me casually...that he is linked with flirting ...see how many Gopis he has..but i replied him back that he is not meant for that ,its actually based on pure devotion kind of thing..well after that he did apologize for the same..
same way... its a lesson... for all of us...we can say tht...bhagwaan has done this then why not we...then...the ans.of this is that..he has even jump into River yamuna ...can u do that...then everyone will take a back step...
so if we think of follow him so follow each and every thing of him.. follow the way he held Govardhan mountain on his little finger...can we do that ...we can't think of this in rearest of dreams..
same way reagarding Shivji...he has drank the poison...can we do that... never in our life...and many more of his way..like he holds Ganga in his Jata....he wear snake as his garland..we can't even think of doing such things..
so its said that even if we want to follow them still we can't....
that are the reason which has been said in Bhaghwath Purana..
as regarding Ramji..he is maryada Purshotam ...his incarniation is basically a kind of teaching to live in this world..in a proper way...
