How are DD's TRPs calculated? I mean, are they compared to other shows or just within the channel? I have always been curious.

no they are not compared to others they have their own system they pick a sample from a area and applies some statistics thts beyond by comprehension ( i m a ICSI 😆) its within the channel the good thing is tht even remote areas are covered.👏.. whereas current TRP includes only metors which is incorrect way to calculate the viewership i dint get y ppl rely on TRP wen almost 95% of population is ignored😳

Well in general I don't give a care about TRPs either.😆 I mean, I just don't care about them because so many shows that have average TRPs are much better than the ones that top the charts. Also, like you said they are not at all accurate.🤔

But the scary thing is that channels do give importance to them and if TRPs go so low, the channel forces producers to end it sloppily.😕 This happened to Color's Jai Shri Krishna and Imagine's Dwarkadheesh because their TRPs also went below 1 at one point, and SP had to end the shows, they had no choice because Colors and Imagine were forcing them.

That's why I'm a bit nervous that Zee Tv might force SP to end Ramayan too. I mean, they have ultimate power and if it's taken off Zee Tv, it'll be taken off DD too because the show belongs to Zee Tv. Channels can become very intolerant of shows that have low TRPs so I really hope this Bharat Milaap track increases viewership and improves TRPs on Zee Tv.

no it wont coz its a sunday morning slot there is almost no competition and zee wouldnt expect the sky rocket trp besides on the onset of the show zee made it clear tht trp is not their concern they are least bothered about it😊... its a treat for their cherished viewers😊...they agreed to broadcast the show with DD knowing tht it would became the comptetion for themselves.😳. the tarrif rate were reduced to 51%😳 and they left no stone unturned to promote the show for example the virtual temple was created... the 3 d game has launched recently ...and then and now the ramayana team (gagan neha and neil ) are sent in various state for the promotion all this implies tht zee is betting on this show but still if it happens not a big deal 😳 it happens with every show and one cant blame on the story or poor SP everytime... coz if only story or PH is taken into account there are so many crap shows running on the television tht should be shut down immediately... this show is way better than those flithy shows in terms of story ethics and moral ...i know the viewers are quite less who dont wanna see the alpha male stapling woman every nano second or the senseless dupatta and a big drama for a burnt okra😕.but still they do exist and they rather prefer a nice story😳though this ramayana confuses me alot but i love it..i loved the concept of ramayana ...absolutely loved their inital epis .yaa sometimes they are bloopers and after exile the things have turned topsy turvy but still i m looking forward to supernakaha epi ...sita abduction... lord hanumana sugreev angad shabari redemption ...ramsetu... the great war lakshmana;s injury ...the sanjeevani booti ...meghanand kubhkaran slay and the ultimate ram and ravan war...and the grand reunion.. they are so interesting tht i cant stop watching this show, i will stick to end and i want zee to show us complete story if not ...no probs i started reading about ramayana after the show and now i feel more connected to ram lakshmana and sita 😳

OMG, this part just made me crack up!🤣 It's true though, especially in shows like Saath Nibhana Sathiya which makes a huge deal out of nothing, like "OMG, you didn't add sugar in tea? It's the end of the world!"🤪 Ramayana is much better than such shows, even this faulty version.😆

Anyway, you're right that since Sunday morning doesn't have much competition, there's no need to shut down the show even with low TRPs. I just hope the show pics up its pace soon and that viewership increases with the entrance of vanar sena. That part is always interesting and I'm curious to see who plays Lord Hanuman.😊

yaa if they stop irritating us with their useless track😕 and ravana shani narad and indra tht hovers around like a bee ...this show would be worth watching 😆 btw in the precap they showed lakshmana pointing at bharat... in FB i saw a bow fallen near bharat wen rama embraced him and lakshmana was holding his bow does tht means bharat pointed the bow at lakshmana 😕 ...i just pray to god it doesnt happen 😭 plz spare us the horror PH 😡

I hope they don't show that.😲 So far the Bharat Milaap pics on FB looked good, but if Bharat is going to point his bow at Lakshmana that would be the biggest blooper!

Bharat was supposed to come to Chitrakoot full of guilt and remorse. He did not blame Lakshmana even when he challenged him, he told Lakshmana his feelings were justified. I hope the pics are just misleading.
