I think the new music director is the same one from Jai Shri Krishna, Sagar Picture's first mythological show which used to come in 2008 alongside Sagar Arts' Ramayan. A lot of the music I hear from this Ramayan is similar to JSK's.

actually neil was selected for the role of rama too. (its from internal source)...but he thought he was perfect for lakshmana as he could connect more easliy with lord lakshmana in the words of neil he is more like lakshmana...like laskhmana he is dedicated and intense...thts y besides gagan physique matches lord rama physique as gagan is tall and strong like lord rama...

and neil is actually the find of sagar arts his first show was arslan and then jo ishq ki marzi produced by sagar arts he was chosen for prithvi raj chauhan but couldnt take the role coz of his exams and busy schedule... he raise to popularity with Karol bagh a show telecasted in zee tv his previous show is gulaal its actually a novel adoptation of the famous writer rabindra singh bedi"s" I TAKE THIS WOMAN"...the subject was bold and concentrated on the plight of woman in indian society the novel won lots of literay awards and the show was unique...but based on bold subject😳

I dont think people who watched it were against it...whoever watches can never be against it..it actually focusses a custom called "deeyarvattu" where in the widow has to marry her husband's younger bro..so when gulaal's husband dies ..she chooses 12 year old "Kesar" as her husband.. there is a reason why gulaal choses kesar instead of his another brother of her age...she follows the custom just to fulfill her husband's dream of having a united family and village..there is a lot of mystery in how her husband is murdered and how Kesar get suspicious of Gulaal. Gulaal is 8 yrs elder to KEsar. He is sent to boarding and neil returns as big kesar..who eventually falls in love with gulaal..i cant actually write properly ..u have to watch it to know why is it called a masterpiece

neilu the plot was based on the novel how and y the woman are put into the condition to marry their younger brother in law...and the lovestory they weaved was so pure and immense there was no eylock so senseless duppatta no alpha male stapling a woman it was the emotions the love and bond tht caught my attention and the cinematography was brilliant in fact here too i m loving the cinematography ...as the viewer gulaal raised my standards i m huge sucker of tragic story and gulaal was a masterpiece

and who can ever forgot piu mhaari awesome song...👏

i agree is he is best lakshman we could have got..personality wise also he is just perrrfect...
and yesGulaal was a bold subject..with out any eyelocks and duppata flying ...gulaal cv's showed what chemistry is all about..

Neil is from Sagar Arts' shows? That's cool! Wow, he was chosen to be adult Prithviraj?😲 I wish he played the role as many people did not like Anas Rashid who played the role after Rajat Tokas. After Ramayan he should do some historical roles in my opinion as he has the right build and physiqe for that.😊

anger and resltessness is the USP of blueyyy 😆😉 he is best at bringing the intensity and anger in the character...
