in ramcharitmanas also lakshman was furious at dashratha though there is not a specific event tht lakshmana vent out his frustration but he was angry wen sumant the minister of ayodhya asked lord rama to return back to palace wen they left ayodhya lakshmana uttered harsh words against king dashratha and lord rama pacified him and took the promse from the minister not to say lakshmana's word in front of king dasharatha...

this particular scene is quite strange ... lets wait wht they wanna show...
