Nupur Joshi's got a weighty problem
Nupur Joshi, who plays Nandini in Zee's new show Rakhi, is so thin that she is unable to bear even the impact of table fans and they have to be switched off when they are shooting outdoors.
"Oh God! My weight is only 42 kgs even though my height is a decent 5'6". I'm trying my level best to increase my weight. I'm a foodie but still it doesn't work," says the 'lightweight' actress.
Nupur adds that her co-stars were shocked when they came to know that she can't shoot with fans at outdoor locations. "My co-actors Ayub Khan and Monalika were laughing but frankly speaking I can't stand in front of fans, so now whenever there is an exterior shooting, the unit people automatically switch off the fans!"
It is being said that the other actors have to literally sweat it out due to this but Nupur quashes such arguments. "No Mr. Ayub Khan is like my big brother. He is very cooperative and understanding and so are the others," says the Delhi girl, who has done theatre and some small roles in serials before this.
We'll here's hoping that Nupur puts on some much needed weight.
