Telestars Speak About Their Bad Habits

Every individual has some bad habit or the other, conduct that is abhorred by others. Sometimes they want to get rid of it themselves but fail to do so. While good manners are appreciated by one and all, bad ones draw a lot of flak. Tele Stars are no different either. They have, in fact, shared a few of their so called bad habits with TellyCafe. Here we go…

Mahi Vij

I am always busy either on my phone or chatting to friends online. That's my worst habit as I even ignore to eat while chatting. I never listen to anyone while I keep busy chatting on my cell phone. I know that this is a very bad habit but I really can't control it as I'm totally addicted.

Romit Raj

I have a very bad habit of watching television. Doesn't matter when I reach home, late at night or early in the morning, my day does not really end until I watch a bit of television. I even watch Surya TV as I do not restrict myself to Hindi channels alone. I don't really understand anything but still enjoy watching it. But that's very bad, I know.

Ratan Rajput

I have many bad habits; I am just filled with them. But one habit I really have to get rid of is not replying to any of the messages received. I just choose to ignore a message that requests a reply too. But I really can't help it as I don't like to type messages on my cell phone. In fact I would love to write a long letter but please don't ask for any text replies. I will happily call you back though.

Kapil Nirmal

I don't have any vices like drinking, smoking et all. But one thing that I would certainly like to change is not getting involved. I tend to shy away from people which is both bad as well as harmful.

Rubina Dilaik

I just cannot bring myself to clean out my bedroom or wardrobe.. My mom always rebukes me for it but I never changed my habit. I keep things scattered everywhere in my bed room. I realize the seriousness of my problem whenever I need to hunt all over my bedroom for finding things. The consequences of not keeping your room tidy dawns on my only then.

Aditya Redij

I just can't get up in the mornings which makes me late for my shoots as well. I really have to change this habit of mine but going to bed at 10 PM in order to get up early, the next day, is next to impossible for me. It is not a recently acquired habit though. The inability to get up early has been with me since my school days.

Jennifer Winget

I am very impulsive, I don't think twice before speaking which is really very weird. I simply start talking without waiting to think how the other person will take it. And that is something which I should definitely change. I can't control my words or my anger and that should be taken seriously. But I don't think that I will be able to do so. After all that's my bad habit.

Jay Soni

I don't have any control over my diet; I eat junk food all the time. However, I keep worrying and get to consume diet food as well which may be damaging to health too. I really cannot make out how to eat right. I go to the gym regularly but have a tendency to gorge on food without thinking.

That's true guys it's very difficult to change your habits and if fortunately you do get to succeed in changing your habits, they can't be called bad habits anymore. So keep enjoying!

Ravi Bhatia, who had sent a legal notice to the makers of Dadagiri (UTV Bindass), is now all set to play the role of an unruly friend of the lead in 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat'. He was also seen in Ekta Kapoor's "Kahani Apne Mahaabharat Ki" apart from Dadagiri.

A source says, "Star Plus' 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat' is about to take a new turn now. There will be a change in the storyline with the introduction of the male lead, Arjun as Veer. The plot will be somewhat similar to the film 'Joru Ka Ghulam'. Veer, in the show, is shown as a rowdy character with aspirations of being the King. Veer together with his like-minded friend Balma, essayed by Ravi Bhatia, plan to enter the Haveli, in order to please the Princess Sandhya (Dimple Jhangiani). They plot to take over everything and be the King eventually."

Elaborating on the story a source says, "Veer's mother Sajili (Jayati Bhatia) throws both(Veer and his friend Balma) of them out of her house as she thinks that they are good for nothing. They spot a king driving and plan to puncture the car hoping to reach the Mansion instead of the real king. This is exactly how the story will get to proceed further."

Describing his role Ravi says, "I will be entering the show from tomorrow as Veer's friend. It's a nice character named Balma who has various shades. I will be seen on television for the first time after 'Vikram Betaal' that is almost after 5 months. I hope the audience likes it."

It seems that the story will turn more colourful with the new characters being introduced, isn't it?

Anjali Abrol, who is fondly known as Rani of 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat', was on a short break and now is getting ready to come back on a daily soap on Zee TV. Anjali will be seen essaying Paro in her upcoming show named 'Devdas'. The girl is taking rest as much as she can because after returning to work there is no guarantee of getting such a great holiday again. So post 'Raja Ki…', Anjali is living her life just like a Rani.

Initially she refused to say anything about her daily timetable but later she agreed. Talking about her timetable she says, "I always skip my breakfast as I get up at don't know what time but after 12:00 PM in the afternoon. I leisurely get up and take my time to freshen up. After which I have my lunch and again relax without tension. Taking TV remote in hand, I watch some afternoon shows".

There is no doubt Anjali, you must be definitely watching your 'Raja Ki …' in the afternoon. "After my show is over, I again go to sleep, get up in the evening, and go for a walk. The time flies in a wink and night arrives. I then have my dinner, and again watch some good shows and go to bed at around 1:30 post-midnight. This is how my timetable is".

"Actually before the shoot for 'Devdas' starts, I want to take as much rest as possible because once the show starts, you won't get to stay at home for more time. So, now I am enjoying the leisure", signs off Anjali.

It seems that your reel role of Rani has really affected your real life!

Anjali Abrol

As reported earlier, Anjali Abrol who was recently seen in, 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat' (Star Plus) as Rani, will be making her come back with D.J's next venture. The name of the show is yet to be decided by the channel. But the show seems to be an adaptation of Devdas. And Anjali will be seen essaying Paro in the show.

The grapevine reports that Anjali, who was finalized to essay Paro had rejected the offer as she didn't want to share screen space with her co actress. We spoke to Anjali on the issue and she says, "Yes, I have rejected the offer because initially I thought that the role of Paro will be an important one, as shown in the movie Devdas. But the screen play indicates that the most of the importance will be given to Chandramukhi that is Beeny. And Paro does not seem to have much of a part."

"And I don't want to share the major part of the screen with my co-actress. So I rejected the offer. Initially I had accepted it because I thought that the role of Paro is the major one. But that's not the fact. Let's see, something new will soon come up for me." signs off Anjali.

For sure Anjali, something interesting would definitely be in store for you!

Anjali Abrol

Anjali Abrol a.k.a Rani of 'Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat', the beauty hailing from Jammu who had never thought of becoming a celebrity and getting praises from the people around had a talk with TellyCafe about her journey so far in the industry, her beliefs and many more.

Is there any difference between Anjali and Rani in real life?

Frankly speaking, there is no difference between me and Rani. Actually the similarity between the personalities made me comfortable to tackle Rani in the show as there was not much difference in the role and my actual persona. Like Rani, even I am very simple, I don't like to party, I like everything quiet. In fact, that is the positive point in me and the reason why I could be able to essay Rani so well.

Why acting as a profession and not something else?

Actually, acting was never so clear in my mind. I had never aimed at anything like acting. It came to me and then it happened. Nothing was planned, everything happened. I just kept on grabbing the opportunities and everything was done. I had never thought of being an actress. It just happened.

How this role of Rani came to you?

I had just auditioned for a show in Jammu and forgot about it, thinking that I would never get a chance to work in the television industry and no one is going to call me to Mumbai. But I got a call from Mumbai and was asked to come here for the further detailing. I was so surprised to know that I really got selected to essay a role. And immediately after getting a call, I came down to Mumbai. I had a meeting with Rashmi in a hotel, where she explained me the storyline and about my character. I liked the offer and I went for it.

How was your schooling and college?

I was very much
sharif (Good) child in the school, I never bunked my lectures and was never a spoilt brat. Only once I remember, I had bunked my class, when all my relatives had visited my home. Otherwise, I had never left a chance to complain about me.

What has helped you in developing your acting skill?

I have helped myself in improving my acting. And apart from that our director Pawan had helped me a lot in improving my acting. Actually I had come down to Mumbai with many misconceptions that all the directors are cruel, they scold you now and then. They pass comments on you and take left, right, and centre. I was very afraid of working with any director. But I was proved wrong after meeting our director, as he is the one who has made me act and improve.

Do you think you are finest actor?

No! I don't think that I am the finest actor. Because according to me, acting is a learning process and is never ending. Each and every actor learns something different from his or her role. The more different role they do, the more they will learn. Acting has no end.

How was dancing in 'Nach Baliye'?

The feeling was just getting relived from the jail after 13 hours of shoot and then getting into rehearsals and then performing. It was fun. Actually I love singing and dancing and thus it was a treat for me to be in the show. It was great being in the show.

How was working with Kapil Nirmal?

As I said that I had come here with many preconceived notions but slowly with the time, everything vanished. Initially when I met Kapil, I thought he is very egoistic person who throws loads of tantrums on set. So I never talked to him but then my mom started visiting our set and she stated talking to him. Gradually all the misunderstandings were cleared. And now we both are very good friends.

Are you and Kapil seeing each other?

Yes, it is true to some extent. But now we are just good friends. It happens when you stay with a person for almost 24 hours a day but now there is no contact with him as such. But yes, we were very great friends.

How did you felt when you heard about 'Raja Ki…' taking a leap?

Initially, I felt very bad that now the show is taking a leap of about 18 years and we won't be the part of the show but then later on I thought that when the show is taking a leap of about 18 years, we have to be that old, for which I was not ready because essaying an old lady was somehow a threat to my career. So I thought, better to quit the show, instead of continuing with wrong image. I know this is not the end; many more offers will be waiting for me.
