PART 17
Rani earlier had searched for the parcel when Yudi was asleep and was sure that Yudi had not received the parcel.
Yudi looks at her and smiles. She doesn't smile, she quickly goes near the door in order to call everyone and say that Yudi had regained consciousness. Yudi understands her move and quickly goes near to door and blocks her way.
Yudi: Rukhiye, Hume aapse kuch baat karna hai, uske baad app sabko bula lijeye.
Rani: Ji, Hume sirf yehi aadesh mila hai ki hum aapka dekhbal karen, aur aapke saath baat karne ki jaazat nahi mili.
Yudi: Yeh kya ho gay aapko…Aapko kisi ki bhi ijaazat ki zaroorat nahi hai hai humse baat karne –
Rani doesn't want to talk to him anymore; she was on the verge of breaking down! Whatever she had gone through from morning was sufficient for her and tried to be strong!
She cuts in half and replies: Aap yahiin tehariye, hum sabko bulaate hai.
Yudi: Humari baat ek baar toh suniye.
Rani: Kunverji, ab bolne keliye ya sunne ke liye kuch nahi raha!
As soon as Rani addressed him as 'Kunverji', Yudi understands that she is deeply hurt. He wants to make her understand and justify his act, but she was not letting him do so. But he was determined to tell her everything and thought he would not miss this opportunity. He wanted to explain her, how much she meant to him and life without her was impossible to live with!
Yudi: Jab aap hume 'kunverji' pukaara toh humara aagya bhi sun lijeye, yahiin ki aap yahaan se humari puri baat sunkar hi jaayengi!
Rani is shocked hearing this, She has no anwer for this…She keeps wuiet and allows him to talk.
Yudi seeing her calm down replies: Rani, Jab aapne hume tohfa dya toh…Humara khushi ka tikaana nahi raha aur jab aapne abhi hume "kunverji" bulaya toh hum bilkul toot gaye Rani! Hum aap se bas Yeh kehna chahte hai ki hum aapse bahut pyaar karte hai aur aapke bina jee nahi sakte! (RKAB se dialogue chura liya!)
Rani: Ji haan, kyunki hum sirf Arjun se pyaar karte the!
Yudi is feeling really bad after her answer. Rani on the other hand is trying too hard to control her emotions. She knows if he continues like this she would melt and give in! She has to hurt him in order to make him forget her.
Yudi: Dekhiye Rani, agar aap –
Rani still does not allow him to talk and bluntly says: Ji, hum jaante hai ki aap humse pyaar karte hai…..lekin yeh kabhi mumkin nahi hai!
Rani tries to go out but Yudi stops her and sadly tells her: Humne aapse yeh sab kehne ki bahut koshish ki. Lekin hum kya karen, jab bhi hum aapse bolne ke liye aate toh, hum aapke inn ankhon mein kho jaate hai aur kuch aur hi bol jaate hai! Hum aapse haath jodkar vinathi karte hai…Krupa karke humari baat suniye…..
Rani cannot see him plead and hence calms herself down and listens to him controlling all her tears.
He holds her hands and brings her near the bed and makes her sit down. He kneels infront of her, looks straight into her eyes.
He says: Rani, hum kabhi aapko dhoka nahi dena chahte the aur nahi de sakte hai. Humne yeh baat aapko pehli hi bata diya ki hum aapse kitna pyaar karte hai……..Lekin aapne aapne uss baat ka jawaab nahi diya! Hum toh aapke ray janne ke liye bahut utsuk the taaki hum iss sagayi ko ro sake! Jab humne aapko rote huye dekha toh, hum bilkul toot gaye aur humne behosh hone ka natak kiya!
Rani is still stunned by whatever he is saying….But tries to interrupt him…
Yudi cuts her and says: Rani, Aaj hum baat karenge aur aap sunegi, pehle hume baat khatam toh karne dejiye.
Hum yeh kehna chahte hai ki, jab humne aapko pehli baar dekha toh, hum aapse pyaar karne lage. Aapka svabhav, aapka vichaar, aapke jeene ka tareeka…Yeh sab baton ne humara dil choo liya! Pehli baar humne jeene ka maksad jaana aur woh aap hai. Jab humne aapko bearish mein bheegte dekha toh hum aap pe bilkul fida ho gaye! Yakeen maniye, humne apne sapne mei bhi kisi aur ladki ke bare mai nahi socha……hume bas aapka saath chahiye, Bas ek baar haan keh dijiye baaki sab hum dekhlenge!
Aur haan, hume iss shaadi mei koi dilchaspi nahi hai.
Rani is standing there thinking how to react….She is silently shedding all her tears. She lloks at from behind the tears and shakes her negatively indicating that all these were not possible.
He understands her too well that she was talking about their status.
Yudi: Dekhiye agar aap darje ke bare mei baat kar rahe hai toh bhool hayiye. Aap hume shaadi karne ke baad aam nahi rahengi aur aap humarilye humesha hmesha khaas hai! Hum ye hunch – nich, jaati bedh baav nahi maante hai. Hum sirf yeh jaante hai ki hum aapse bahut pyaar karte hai!
Seeing that Rani is still not convinced by his talk, he is totally broken. He knows that the next thing she would talk about was sacrificing. He suddenly grabs her hand takes near the god's idol.
He looks at her while holding her hand and placing it just below his hand on the idol's feet, he tells her: Hum bhagwaan ke upar saugan khakar yeh kehte hai ki agr humri jeevan mei koi ladki hai, who sirf aap hai, aur aapke alaawa humaare ardhangini banana ka adhikar kisi aur ko nahi de sakte hai!
Rani jerks her hand out and stoms out but she stops near the door and turns to look at him. She can see him immensely hurt. She wants to listen to her heart but her mind is being more practical. She sees tears flowing out of Yudi's eyes! She forgets everything….everything….their status….about the society…about wagging tongues….everything! All she needed was his happiness and the tears in his eyes just explained everything! She runs straight into his arms and hugs him tightly…never wanting to leave him!
Yudi is shocked, confused and overwhelmed at the same time!
Rani tells: Agar aap ko iss shaadi se aitraaz hai toh mat kijeeye! Hume aap par poora bharosa hai! Aap jaise chahe, hum waisa hi karenge! Aap job hi kadam utaayenge…Hum humesha aapke saath denge!
Yudi does not understand what made her change her mind but he is happy to hear whatever she said!
Rani wipes his tears and hugs him evern more tightly! Yudi realizes that his tears had done the trick. He feels bad for breaking down infront of her; responds with a tight hug! He feels on top of the world and with her being supportive to him, he can pass any hurdles. He vows to make everything alright soon.
He massages her head and says:
