rahul mahajan after meeting harpreets parents where he was given a gold chain and pagdi ,( to be noted : rahul mahajan did not bring his mother, sister or even any other relative to her house ????? hmm hmm strange 😲😲!!! ) was taken to the sikh temple and when harpreets father asked him " are you reaaly serious about getting married, rahul got little negative and gave intention that harpreet is bound to loose top 3 spots . religion also contributes to dismissal o fharpreet as he earlier did with swati(christian) rahul belong to hindu family where other religion are not supported well in the family well i am happy for harpreet, you go girl👏👏👏 you are SAVED from the torture coming ahead😆

Well he has the right to choose whoever he wants, it is after all HIS swayamvar, hd it been harpreet's swayamvar, she could have chosen the groom she wants to marry, the person he chooses has the option of whether of not they wanna marry the man.....there is no indication of whether religion was an issue in swati's case, or in harpreet's case, btw according to an article harpreet is in the final 3 😉...also religion is a big deal in marraige, so even if that were the reason, it would not be inappropriate...

I totally agree...BUT, why did he shortlist a christian and a sikh girl in the first place?? when he had no intention of marrying outside of his religion😕

i totally understand and agree that one should marry whom they want to marry , but righj=t now the question which pops is if he has to get married to someone from his own religion then why swati and harpreet were choosen at first place, i will not buy it if someone tells us that he just found out now !!!! everyone has right to choose their partner.

rahul said in his commentary after meeting harpreet's friends that he today realised that she is really 20 years and that he felt he was among a bunch of kids. i think this will be the foundation of her elimination along with the religion issue as i mentioned before regarding swati.

also he keeps asking her and her friends why she didn't ever have a relationship. i feel she is not taken serious due to this point. rahul seems to like people with previous relationships coz he thinks that makes them mature enough for him!

And why do you say that other religions aren't well supported in an hindu family, i believe that hinduism is one of the most tolerant religions in the world, and gives enough space to other religions as well, unlike almost all other religions where if you marry a person belonging to that religion, the hindu person is expected to convert into their religion, noone from other religions ever conver to hinduism, after they marry a hindu, and yet hindu's re the one being called intolerant.....unbeliveable....as if every other religion would be willing to accept a person from another religion into their family with open arms, and an open heart....

P.S.sorry for the rant, mybe you didn't intend to write what it meant, but i am a bit irritated about this accusation being placed only on hindus....

I agree with you too....no point in shortlisting these girls, if religion was a deal-breaker....but then again he may not be completely thinking with his head....if you get my drift...😉😉
