Satyabhama becomes serious again, β€˜Draupadi, didn’t you have any problems having a relationship with all five? Haven’t they quarreled among themselves over you? What if all of them wanted you at the same time!

Hmn...I enjoyed such freedom before Narada intervened. I had all my fantasies come true before the rules were framed and implemented. I would have a reverse one with Yudhistir despite his religious reservations; a delicate relationship with Nakul and Sahadev and make them exhaust and melt in emptiness at the end; and what not with Bhima and Partha. They were always frightened of me, thinking that Partha would forget his purpose of life!
Vyasa is so great, yet a male after all! Always fearing woman sexuality!

- The five satisfied you in five different ways. Men are so different, no? Panchali , please tell me about it?

Better say I derived different levels of satisfaction out of them. Yudhishtir is a docile man, a faithful domesticated husband, always concerned about hurting me, seeking rebuke from me, seeking more a sister in me than a mother; Bhima is all passion, the eternal violator, always having his will with me, loving me like a fire loves its fuel, getting completely drowned in me in his plays like a whale in the tumultuous sea; Nakul and Sahadev are tamed, always carrying out my orders, always condescending, seeking a mother in me. Pity they lost their mother early. Really cannot blame their mother-fixation!

- You didn’t mention Arjuna Panchali?

- Well! He is yet to be explored in full! I know him and know him not! He is so clever that he understands one secret of my charm – that is my paradox in love!

- Paradox? Yes. Krishna often compliments me so. He also calls me an enigma.

Partha’s case is different though! I perplex him by sometimes playing straight! That leaves him gasping whether that was a paradox or what! A compliment from him is all that makes my life worth living! It is the most genuine thing on earth!

Don’t you feel angry that Duryodhana-Duhshashana-Karna-Shakuni sent you to exile and destroyed your happiness with your husbands?

– Angry? Yes, of course! For the suffering, my husbands and sons have been subjected to! That will be dealt with in time. But the question is who sent whom to Vanabas? Had I wished I could have prevented Yudhistir from playing dice! If not by myself then certainly with the help of your husband. My husbands are such religious-minded that they need a moral justification to fight for a cause, that’s why this Vanavas! Besides, it is Vanavas for whom? As you can see we are so happy here. Yudhishtir wants nothing but the company of sages. He gets it here. Bhima wants physically challenging situations and fights. He gets it here, in warding off devilish elements, not to mention his wild games. Partha wants nothing more than nature. He surely got this love for forests and mountains from my father-in-law, the great Pandu. Nakula and Sahadeva are only too happy to stay together and forget the artificial formalities of palace life. Actually all other wives of the Pandavas are away now. I sent them far away to secure my place. I am in royal pleasure here. I, my feminine body-signs, and my sexuality are one and only one here! I welcomed the exile to send patriarchal rules to exile. I gain power where they want to make me powerless.

- You are remarkable. You have no inhibitions about your inner desires, no?

- Sexuality has no gender. It is universal and natural! My sexuality is a celebration of my humanity, my essence, my existence! With that, I am personal and impersonal at the same time! With that I am nature herself! I am a goddess! Ha Ha…

Draupadi slaps Satyabhama on her arm. Both the ladies burst out into laughter.

Stayabhama slaps Draupadi’s cheek lovingly, and asked her β€˜Now what are your tips for me?’

Draupadi pretends to be very serious. She clears her throat and then speaks in imitation of Vedic chanting, β€˜Always adore Krishna with friendship, and love physical sufferings. Offer him handsome seats and excellent garlands and various perfumes and prompt service....

Shut up Shut up! Who told you to sermonize? Be precise!!

- Well, in that case, remember the phrase – β€˜Shock and Surprise.’

The two relaxed merrily lying down on the wavy grass.

That is the entire story Suta.... now if you ask me to reveal more and more, will squeeze your cheeks gently like your elder sisterπŸ€—

Came running here to log again, to write this, ---though I want to squeeze your tender cheeks gently, but can't do it because, you are our DT here, with due respect will squeeze your cheeks!πŸ€—

Ahem ahem ahem !!! Gimme more royal gossips ! 😈

Uff Didi, this was so fun and enchanting to read. No wonder God only choose the worthy ones to deliver one or another of his messages. This the reason Draupadi is Draupadi ! Can't imagine how disastrous it would have been to have anyone else in her place. She sure derived pleasure out of her pains and moulded herself well into her situations. Didi,it was after the dyutsabha drama right ? If so then so good to read about a happy chirpy Draupadi,a fresh break from the redundant imagery of a vengeance seeking restless woman.

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ just wow ! She can give us modern feminists and ideologists a run for our money. πŸ˜†

Thank you again Madhuri Didi. πŸ€—

Good point !

How will she convince the Barsana people though ? For them she is just a sadharan ladki and Krishna on the other hand is hell bent on not disclosing his divinity. May be some Akashvaani will do the work ! Or may be she will retire to forests and realize her true self and start living as Krishna's wife. πŸ€”

If I don't edit, Mina will run behind us with a stick !!! That is why left most parts to readers' imagination.

Hmn... anyway you extracted the entire matter from me, naughty girl!

Whenever Krishna met Draupadi in Mahabharatha, those were all very interesting incidents, that is the beauty between their relationship/friendship.

Somewhere I read about Arjun teasing Shubhadra about the less wealth she brought while coming first time to her husband's house, it was a teasing folk story.

So the real scriptures talk about much explicit stuffs ? Mmhmm ! ☺️ imma be reading them.

Krishna and Krishna sakhi had a very special bond between them. 😳

Didi, what are your thoughts on Ajrun-Subhadra relationship ?

They had such long lives so i am actually surprised she didn't have more. πŸ€ͺ Her fault too,she wanted her husbands all to herself so...πŸ₯± i read somewhere that she used to stay with each of her husbands for some years and then did some purification sort of penance before joining another. πŸ€ͺ

The only solace for the queens is they used to have hundreds of servants to pamper them!

Most Beautiful Queens in Indian History : Beauty with Brain and ...

Such painful lives ! Even Rukmini had too many children and others wives of Krishna too. May be contraception wasn't invented by any of those medicine practitioners of those days. πŸ€”

Only thing loved is Krishna chant Radharani and finally yaad agayaa Radharani kyun hain

When this girl Radharani eat this kind of food Krishna will participate in chapanbhog..waah kyaa prem

I can never understand their food analogy πŸ€ͺek nahi kha raha/rahi hai toh dusra bhi nahi khaega/khaegi etc etc. No wonder we Indians are pros in wielding hunger strikes as powerful weapons. πŸ˜‰ Even in day to day life, food has to bear the brunt of our mood swings and anger. πŸ˜† mujhe khaana nahi khana is the ultimate way of showing how mighty upset we are with something/someone. 🀣 Jab humare Bhagwaan hi aise hain toh hum kis khet ki mooli hain ? πŸ˜†

Yes... Douhitra-- the son of a daughter is also a lawful heir to the empire, as you mentioned, that must be the main reason behind killing even the daughters and their offsprings.

That space-age rendering of these epic tales really proved one point. The Kauravas and Pandavas go high tech as their forces clash in the fiercest battle the universe has ever known. Aswathama used the nuclear weapon to wipe out even the reproductive power of all the humans at that time!!

The Mahabharata goes science fiction in this graphic retelling of the war between the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Ashwatthama, a reluctant warrior commits the ultimate crime and must pay for it by wandering the universe, friendless and alone for all eternity. A graphic reminder that war can brutalize even the best of men and that revenge is seldom worth the price. Cursed to wander the universe, friendless, alone and in pain, Ashwatthama has eternity to ponder his crimes and to yearn for forgiveness. Can he escape his terrible past and find peace or will he be doomed to live forever?

Ashwatthama is reluctant to choose sides as he is friends with members of both the Kaurava and Pandava families, but in the end he sides with his father, following him into battle against the Pandavas. When Drona is killed through trickery on the battlefield, Ashwatthama swears vengeance and his revenge is bloody and terrible.

Story Of Lord Shiva Anshawtar Ashwathama - ΰ€†ΰ€œ ΰ€ΰ₯€ ΰ€œΰ€Ώΰ€‚ΰ€¦ΰ€Ύ ...

Thank you for summing it up Didi. Yes it was indeed the goosebumps raising part of Mahabharata. He definitely sterilized the fertility of many. No wonder none of the survivers had babies after the battle. So Didi, did the babies and toddlers and underage children survive this serialization or else how the fertility circle continued ?

If Ashwashtama is still alive then i wonder what he must be thinking of today's world ! How is he coping with the ever-changing dynamics of this world ? One can only wonder. If only God could curse all the criminals this way !

Didi, what do think about Ashwashtama ? Was he born evil or fell prey to Shakuni-Duryodhana's manipulations ? Why didn't Drona aware his son of the possible shortcomings ? In fact why Drona remained loyal to the throne of Hastinapur ? Ashwashtama was the rightful king of West Panchal (i guess) so he could have stayed neutral.
