Chapter 20- Punishment.. "Bh..Bha..Bhai..Bhaiya..!", freaks Sumedh. "Haa!", shouts Basant angrily. "Aa..Aap ya..yahan?", asks Sumedh. "Nahi mera bhoot!", says Basant angrily. "Accha, Hello Bhoot!", says Sumedh cheetfully in order to calm himself down. Basant glares at him. "Yeh ladka marwayega!", murmurs Meghan. "Hey Narayan! Hum sabki raksha karo!", murmurs Aarti. "Raksha nahi ho sakti hai!", murmurs Meghan. "Inn dono ki timing extraordinarily perfect thi!", murmurs Sumi to Aarti. "Timing chodo, apni maut ki timing dekho!", murmurs Aarti. "Hum toh mar gayo ab!", murmurs Meghan. "Bhaiya aap aa gaye, arey waah, cake!", says Sumedh joyfully looking towards the cake packet in his hand. "Sochna bhi mat!!", stops Basant angrily. "HaHaHa Bhaiya, kaisi baatein kar rahe ho aap, bahut mazaak karne lage ho!", laughs Sumedh. "Sumedh chup ho jaa!", murmurs Aarti. "Bhaiya, aayiye, mai aapki massage kar deta hu!", says Sumedh fully trying to stop Basant's anger. "Massage toh tum sabki hogi aur aisi massage hogi jo tum sab jindagi mai nahi bhoologe!", says Basant glaring at all of them. "Aap sabne uss din hum dono ko stalk karke accha nahi kiya yaar!", says Swarnali blushing furiously in embarrassment. "Arey Swarnali, hum sab ko bahut chinta ho rahi thi isliye hum sabne peecha kiya tha aap dono ka!", says Sumedh. Basant lift him up through his collar from the ground. "Chinta ho rahi thi? Haa?", asks Basant angrily. "Ah..Wo..Woh Bhaiya, Meghan Bhaiya ne bola tha peecha karne ko!", says Sumedh pointing at Meghan. Meghan who was previously rubbing his collar awkwardly looks at Sumedh shocked. "Su..Sumedh...yeh kya bol rahe ho? Maine kab bola?", asks Meghan. Sumedh was holding his one ear when Basant was not looking at him and places Sumedh down on the ground carefully. "Meghan Bhaiya aap?", asks Basant shocked. Meghan shakes his head with a big "No"! "Haa, Meghan Bhaiya ne hi mujhe bola tha, maine kuch nahi kiya tha!", says Sumedh making a puppy face. "Yeh kya bole..bole jaa rahe ho Sumedh tum?", asks Meghan anxiously. "Yeh Sumedh kitna bada nautanki hai!", murmurs Sumi surprised. "Yeh ladka ek ke baad ek kaand kar raha hai!", murmurs Aarti. "Aap dono kya khusad-phusad kar rahe ho?", asks Basant angrily. "Na..Nahi Basant Bhaiya..kuch nahi!", replies Sumi fumbling. Aarti looks stunned. Basant glares at Meghan. "Dekho Basant, seedhi baat, no bakwaas, maine nahi bola tha!", says Meghan convincing him. "Aap mujhe kyu phasa rahe ho Meghan Bhaiya?", asks Sumedh making innocent face. Meghan glares at Sumedh. Meghan's POV- Mai tumhe dekh lunga Sumedh! "Aarti, aap batayo, KISNE BOLA THA? Kyuki aap jhooth nahi bolti hai!", asks Basant. Aarti was in a weird dilemma- Speak or keep quiet. Finally seeing no other option as they all have to die in either of the cases, she speaks the truth. "Sumedh!", says Aarti with a confidence. Sumedh slaps his forehead while Meghan smirks at him. Basant glares at Sumedh who was making a crybaby face. "Accha! Aarti, ab aap sach sach bataiye, kisne kisne hum dono ko dekha tha?", asks Basant. "Sach sach bolungi, Sumedh aur Meghan ne dekha tha!", says Aarti. Basant turns to give a sharp glare to both of them while they look at each other scared. "Aur aap dono ne?", asks Basant looking at Sumi and Aarti. "Nahi Bhaiya, humne maana ki hum dono ne follow kiya tha lekin dekha kuch nahi tha!", says Sumi finally helping Aarti. "Accha!", says Basant and turns to looks towards the culprits of this stalking case. "Accha toh woh cat tum hi the, kyu Sumedh?", asks Basant. Sumedh nods. "Kya socha tha? Meri aur Swarnali ki aankhon mai dhool jhok ke chale jaayoge?", asks Basant angrily looking at him. Swarnali stays silent as she was too embarrassed to look up to the eyes of everyone. "Nahi! Jhooth bahar hi aa jaata hai!", says Basant angrily looking at both of them. "Aur Meghan Bhaiya? Aap? Aap aisa kaam karoge yeh nahu socha tha maine!", says Basant. "Dekh liya besharam ki tarah stalk karne ka anzaam!", murmurs Aarti slapping her forehead. Meghan hears her words and looks at her with shocked expression while he and Sumedh nods in acceptance. "Maine aur Swarnali ne sab sun liya tha, tum sabse sach bulwana chahta tha!", says Basant looking at everyone around. Swarnali turns redder with shame on realising two pair of eyes watching her and Basant on that day. "Aur kya keh rahe the tum? Hans aur Hansini ki sundar jodi?", asks Basant looking at Sumedh. "Woh toh aap dono ho hi!", says Sumedh confidently. "Bas bhi karo!", shouts Swarnali in extreme embarrassment. "Tumhari shararat din ke din badti jaa rahi hai!", says Basant rolling up his sleeves looking at Sumedh. "Ab tum sabko ek se badhke ek saza milegi!", announces Basant angrily looking at everyone. Sumi, Sumedh, Aarti and Meghan turns ashen hearing the words of Basant, they stood frozen to core. Basant looks at everyone and thinks something for a moment. "Sabse pehle Aarti, aap yahan aayiye!", calls Basant. "Mai? Tum..Tum apni behen ko saza kaise de sakte ho Basant?", asks Aarti timidly. "Maine toh kuch nahi dekha!", says Aarti pressing her views. "Lekin follow kiya? Hai naa?", asks Basant. "Haa..woh..toh hai!", murmurs Aarti. "Toh aap aur Sumi bhi utne hi doshi hai jitne hi yeh dono Sumedh aur Meghan Bhaiya!", says Basant looking at everyone. "Aap yahan rukiye!", says Basant. Basant goes off somewhere leaving Aarti worried to core. "Hey Narayan! Bacha lo!", murmurs Aarti helplessly. Swarnali sighs to lower down her embarrassment. Basant comes with a rope much to the surprise of Aarti. "Idhar khadi ho jaayo aap!", orders Basant. "Yeh kya hai narayan?", murmurs Aarti. Basant asks her to stand infront of the pillar. Aarti does the same timidly, Basant ties her with the rope to the pole. "Yeh kya hai Basant?", asks Aarti anxiously. "Aapki punishment yeh hai ki kal aap subah 6 baje tak aise hi khadi rahengi!", says Basant looking with a stern expression. Everyone were giving expressions of one sentence- "Acche se band bajne waali hai!" "Kyaaaaaaaa?", asks Aarti shocked to core. "Ji haa!", replies Basant. "Abhi 9 baje hai, mai kal tak aise hi khadi rahungi?", asks Aarti freaking out already. "Haa!", says Basant and turns to Sumi. He looks at her with a stern expression and walks up to her. "Aap mujhe aise mat dekhiye Basant Bhaiya, mere saath aap kya karne waale hai?", asks Sumi scared to core. "Swarnali ne mujhe bataya tha ki tumhe Bollywood horror movies se bahut jyada darr lagta hai!", says Basant with a flat face. Sumi gives a scornful look to Swarnali. "Yeh toh jaisi karni waisi bharni waali situation ho gayi hai, Karma ne das hi diya aakhir!", says Swarnali looking at Sumi. Sumi's POV- Tumhe toh mai dekh lungi Swarnali. "Tumhari punishment ye hai ki tumhe hollywood horror movies dekhni padengi subah 6 baje tak!", says Basant looking at Sumi. "Nahii!!!! Mai mar jaayungi!! Mai nahi dekh saktii!!!!!!", shouts Sumi already scared. Sumedh slaps his forehead while Meghan and Aarti looks on with sympathy expression. "Tum aayo mere saath!", says Basant dragging her to Aarti's room while Sumi was trying to resist as much as possible. He put the CDs of some of the scariest Hollywood horror movies on a playlist and increases the volume upto 80%. He take the remote outside, shut down the light of that room from outside and lock her in room. "Basant Bhaiya, itni badi saza mat do!", shouts Sumi. "Hey Bhagwaan, Sumi ko himmat dena!", murmurs Sumedh. As soon as he murmurs his prayers, there are loud screams of Sumi that can be heard from that room. "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!", screams Sumi from inside the room. "Sorry Sumi!", murmurs Sumedh. "Hey Bhagwaan!", says Meghan standing beside Sumedh. "Ab tum dono!", says Basant looking at both of them. "Aaj toh Basant Khalnayak mode mai hai Sumedh!", murmurs Meghan to Sumedh. "Ab yeh Khalnayak mode hum dono ki band bajake hi khatam hoga!", says Sumedh. Both gulp with unease under the sharp expression of Basant. "Bhaiya! Hum sabko maaf kar do!", says Sumedh. "Aaj nahi!", says Basant angrily. "Woh toh accha hai kal Sunday hai! Tumhare Sunday ka maza nikaalta hu mai!", says Basant. "Tum dono abhi kya khaana chahte ho?", asks Basant with a soft expression. Sumedh and Meghan looks at each other baffled. "Ye Bhaiya kya bol rahe hai?", asks Sumedh. "Mujhe kya pata re!", says Meghan. "Tum dono ko kya khaana hai abhi woh batayo?", asks Basant already bored with their expression. Sumedh and Meghan looks at each other and nods. "PIZZA!", says Sumedh and Meghan in chorus. "Thik hai!", nods Basant approved. Aarti looks extremely confused while Swarnali looks at Basant. Basant calls McDonald to order pizza according to their choices. The delivery boy comes to deliver the pizzas. Basant then serves it to Meghan and Sumedh. "Sumedh, mujhe daal mai kuch kaala lag raha hai!", says Meghan. "Mujhe bhi!", says Sumedh. "Khaayo!", says Basant with a stern expression. Sumedh and Meghan looks at each other and eats the Pizza feeling uncomfortable whole time when Basant speak up his punishment for them. "Jitna khaana hai kha lo, kal raat 8 baje tak tum dono bhooke-pyaase rahoge aur ghar ke saare kaam karoge!", says Basant looking at them. "Kyaaaaaaa?????", asks Sumedh and Meghan shocked. "Haa!", says Basant looking at them expressionless. Meghan and Sumedh looks at each other and speaks only one sentence- Mar gaye pakka! They both start eating like anything like they will never get to eat ever again. On the other hand, Basant gives the chocolate cake meant for Sumedh to Swarnali. "Basant, mera mann nahi hai!", says Swarnali. "Tum nahi khaana chahti?", asks Basant with a dubious expression. "Nahi Basant, tum ek kaam karo, fridge mai rakh do, kal sab kha lenge!", says Swarnali. Basant reluctantly nods. Aarti's legs were already paining at it strucks 12 am while Sumi's horrified voices can be heard continuously. "Hey Narayan, utha lo ab!", says Aarti sadly. Next morning at 6 am- Sumedh and Meghan were already awake looking at all the aftermath of punishment for Sumi and Aarti worried. Basant unties Aarti who had lost control of herself as her legs turn into jelly. "Aaaaaaaahh!!!!! Bahut dard ho raha hai!!!! Narayan!!!!! Mai nahi uth sakti hu!!!!!", cries Aarti lying on the floor. Meghan runs up to her. "Mai hoon naa!", says Meghan and lift her. Aarti's leg were paining like anything so she had her eyes closed while Meghan takes her to Basant and Sumedh room to rest. Basant then turns to look at her room where Sumi can be still heard shouting like anything. "Basant Bhaiya, ab khol do, pleaseeee! 6 baj gaye hai!", cries Sumi kicking the door. Basant runs to unlock the room while Swarnali looks on worriedly. As soon as the door opens, Sumi runs outside sadly. Sumedh looks at her, she was scared and she hugs him without any thought. Sumedh pats her back gently. "Kuch nahi hua hai, shaant ho jaayo!", says Sumedh in a very sweet voice. Sumi was trembling with a very immense fear so he tries to comfort her by pulling into a comforting embrace. Basant and Swarnali smiles at each other. "Sumi!", says Basant in a calm voice. Sumi hides behind Sumedh immediately hearing his voice. "Basant Bhaiya, aapne usko itna dara diya hai toh woh aapse baat karegi hi nahi!", says Sumedh looking at Basant. "Sumi!", says Swarnali touching her shoulder. "Tum toh mujhse baat hi mat karo!", says Sumi and goes to the guest room when Sumedh follows her. Swarnali looks on when Basant places his hand on her shoulder. "Uska gussa shaant ho jaayega! Woh tumse bahut derr tak gussa nahi reh sakti!", says Basant in a soft voice. Swarnali nods looking at him. Meanwhile, in Basant and Sumedh's room- "Kahan dard ho raha hai Aarti?", asks Meghan softly. "Ankle mai bahut jyada pain ho raha hai!", cries Aarti. "Koi nahi, mai pain reliever cream laaya hu naa, tum araam kar lo, saara dard theek ho jaayega!", says Meghan. He gently massages her ankles with a pain reliever cream while Aarti smiles at him sweetly. "Abhi tum dono kya karoge?", asks Aarti. "Pata nahi, raat tak bhookha pyaasa, bhagwaan jaane!", replies Meghan. "Ho jaayega, ho jaayega!", says Aarti patting him on the back. Meghan looks at her with an exasperated expression. Meanwhile in Guest Room- "Sumi, shaant ho jaayo! Gussa karna sehat ke liye accha nahi hota!", says Sumedh holding her hand and giggles softly. Sumi calms down with his comforting words & she nods gently at Sumedh. She goes outside with Sumedh & smiles at Basant and Swarnali while Swarnali pats her happily proudly. "Tumne bahut himmat dikhayi!", praises Swarnali. Sumi smiles at both of them. "Experience accha raha hoga naa?", giggles Swarnali. "Tum bhi naa!", says Sumi with a pout expression while Swarnali hugs him happily. In the main Hall- (10 am) "Sumedh, maine kaha tha naa, chup ho jaa lekin tu bole hi jaa raha tha!", says Meghan. "Mai bolu ya nahi bolu lekin Basant Bhaiya ne bahut pehle hi sun liya tha!", says Sumedh. "Woh bhi hai! Ab pachtaye hot kya jab chidiya chug gayi khet!", says Meghan. "Muhabare bolna band karo balki kam se kam bolo!", says Sumedh. "Haa sahi kaha, kam se kam bolna chahiye!", says Meghan. "Thik hai!", says Sumedh. "Tum dono bol rahe ho ki kam se kam bologe par tum dono bole hi jaa rahe ho, kyu?", asks Aarti. "Kahan?", both said in chorus. "Are yaar, kaam pe lago!", says Meghan. "Aap bhi Meghan Bhaiya, aap wahan se windows clean karo, mai vacuum karta hu!", says Sumedh. They both tie a cloth on head. "Arey yaar, yeh ghar itna bada kyu hai?", says Sumedh cleaning the house. Sumedh successfully cleans the house using vacuum cleaner. "Kitna kaam karna padta hoga Aarti ko!", says Meghan cleaning the windows. "Mai toh mar gaya itna hi kaam karke!", says Meghan. "Chalo aap Car dhool do mai tab tak pocha laga deta hu!", says Sumedh. "Haa thik hai!", says Sumedh. "Yeh Sumedh kya kar raha hai?", murmurs Aarti. "Itna geela poch raha hai!", says Sumi sighing. "Chalo jaise kar raha hai karne do!", says Aarti. After finishing the home, he goes outside to throw the dirty water when Meghan splashes water on him while washing the car accidentally. "Arey yaaaaaar, Meghan Bhaiya!", shouts Sumedh. "Jaan boojhke nahi kiya hai! Sorry!", says Meghan holding his ears. "Bheega diya aapne mujhe puri tarah!", says Sumedh annoyed. "Aap dono jhagadna band karo!", says Sumi trying to calm down both of them. "Aur yeh lo Sumedh, jaldi change kar lo!", says Aarti handing him the clothes. Sumedh sighs and changes the clothes. "Plants ko paani de dena aur kapde dho dena!", says Sumedh. "Haa Haa! Thik hai", says Meghan already exhausted working in summer light. After completing the work, both of them take a shower and becomes fresh. "Yaar bahut bhook lag rahi hai!", says Sumedh. "Mujhe toh bahut pyaas lag rahi hai!", says Meghan. "Hey bhagwaan utha lo yaar!", says Sumedh. "Ab kuch nahi ho sakta hai, aaj hum nahi bachenge!", says Meghan. Suddenly, Sumedh's eyes fall on Basant who was asleep. "Paani peena hai?", asks Sumedh. "Nahi!!!! Mujhe nahi peena!", replies Meghan. "Thik hai, mai pee ke aata hu!", says Sumedh getting up from the couch. "Sumedh mat jaa, phir se phas jaayega!", says Meghan. Sumedh walks up to the kitchen and opens the fridge to take out the water bottle while Basant appears out of nowhere behind him. "Bha..Bha..Bhaiya! Mai toh bas thandi hawa khaane aaya tha! Bahut thanda hai naa?", says Sumedh and runs for his life. "Pehle mai soch raha tha ki usko aise hi jaana dunga par isko special attention dena hi padega!", murmurs Basant. "Maine kaha tha naa phas jaayoge!", says Meghan. "Arey yaar, haar pe aur mat rulaayo Bhaiya!", says Sumedh slapping his forehead. "Lagta hai tum dono ko iss chunauti ko paar karna hi padega!", says Aarti. Sumi nods approved while both of them sit in extreme disappointment. "Bhai, mujhe khaana dikhaai de raha hai!", says Sumedh pointing at table. "Kahan?", asks Meghan looking at Sumedh. "Woh dekho!", says Sumedh pointing at the table. "Wahan kuch nahi hai pagle!", says Meghan lightly pushing his shoulder. "Yaar mujhe khaana hai, mai mar jaayunga!", cries Sumedh. "Lo mujhe kha lo, khaayo!", says Meghan. "Tum toh aise behave kar rahe ho jaise tum hi mar rahe ho!", continues Meghan. Sumedh looks at him with a pout expression. "Yaar inn dono ko dekh ke daya aa rahi hai!", says Aarti. "Hum kuch bhi nahi kar sakte hai!", says Sumi. In Afternoon (3 PM)- Everyone were eating food prepared by Aarti seeing which Sumedh and Meghan ran outside together to avoid looking at the food and the smell of it. They come inside the room at 4 pm like mad boys. "Waqt tham sa gaya hai naa?", asks Sumedh. "Hai naa?", says Meghan. Both starts laughing like crazy people. "Mera dimaag kharab ho gaya hai!", says Sumedh going crazy. "Jaanta hu tumhara dard!", says Meghan laughing. Shoulder in shoulder, they both were dancing around the main hall and falls down on the bed together in a deep sleep. Everyone looks at them with a weird expression on their faces. "Sumedh? Meghan?", calls Swarnali. "8 baj gaye!", says Swarnali happily. "8 baj gaye hai??!!!!", both shouts in excitement waking up from the deep sleep freaking out Swarnali. "Humne kar dikhaya!", says Sumedh filled with happiness. "Aa jaayo bhai!", says Meghan overjoyous. Both hug each other in happiness and excitement and runs to the dining table. "Yeh lo khaayo!", says Basant giving them two bowls of noodles. Sumi, Aarti, Swarnali were smiling happily. As soon as both eat noodles , their reaction were quite different. "Waaaaaaah! Tapasya ka anth ho toh aisa!", exclaims Meghan immersed in happiness. "Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! Mirchiiiiiii!!!!", shouts Sumedh. "Paani! Paani! Paani!", shouts Sumedh. Meghan looks at him shocked. "Yeh toh bahut tasty hai!", says Meghan looking dubiously. "Yeh lo Sumedh!", runs Sumi to calm him down with a glass of cold water. Sumedh drinks it in a go and Sumi pours more water in a glass. Basant goes off to Kitchen to bring the sweet dish mix with chocolate for Sumedh. "Yeh lo khaayo, tumhari punishment khatam!", says Basant giggling. "Aapne itni mirchi kyu daali mere noodles mai?", shouts Sumedh trying to cool down. "Tum iss saare kaand ke peeche the, dusri baat, tumne paani peene ki koshish ki thi, bas isliye!", says Basant giggling. "Hadd hoti hai Bhaiya!", cries Sumedh and looks at the sweet dish with a dubious expression. "Tum ispe bharosa kar sakte ho!", says Basant with a knowing smile. He quickly eats the sweet dish and exclaims with happiness. "Paramanand!", exclaims Sumedh, his eyes filled with extreme happiness.

Chapter 21- Melting Down.. "Yeh lo!", says Basant placing two big thaalis of plates infront of Sumedh and Meghan. It was a full fledged Gujrati Thaali which looks extremely delicious. It comprised of Bhakhris, aloo rasila, daal, vegetables, Pulaao, papad, various chutneys, dhokla. "Yeh aapne banaya?", asks Sumedh looking at him stunned. Basant nods. "Lekin kab Basant?", asks Meghan with the same expression. "Jab tum dono pagla ke bacche jaise so gaye!", says Basant sitting infront of them. Sumedh and Meghan looks at each other touching their own faces like anything. "Mai tumhe baccha lag raha hu kya?", asks Sumedh. "Tum apna chodo, mujhe yeh batao ki mai baccha lag raha hu?", says Meghan. Basant slaps his forehead. "Inn dono ko aap samjhaayo yaar!", Sumi giggling looking towards Aarti. "Sumedh, Meghan, Basant ke kehne ka matlab yeh hai ki tum dono bahut innocent lag rahe the gehri neend mai!", says Aarti giggling. "Samjhe?", asks Basant in a much gentle tone than before. "Acchaaa!", says Sumedh giggling looking towards Meghan. "Hey Bhagwaan!", says Meghan looking upwards and giggles as well. "Itni jaldi kaise bana liya lekin?", asks Meghan with a confused look. "Mere Bhaiya kisi se kam nahi hai!", says Sumedh proudly. "Haa woh toh hai!", nods Meghan happily. "Basant, lekin, mai tumse abhi bhi naraaz hu, Sumedh aur Meghan ko itni kadi saza deke accha nahi kiya tumne!", says Aarti angrily rolling her eyes. Basant smiles sweetly at her. Basant get up from his place and hugs her. "Aap apne pyaare se Basant se naraaz ho sakti ho kya?", says Basant with a sweet tone. "Haa! Unn dono ko kuch ho jaata toh?", asks Aarti and pulls his ear tightly. "Aaah!", shouts Basant. Sumedh and Meghan giggles, completely enjoying the scene. Meanwhile Sumi and Swarnali looks on with a smile. "Unn dono ko mere rehte kuch nahi ho sakta hai!", says Basant proudly. "Haa! Haa! Bas Karo! Baatein mat banayo!", says Aarti smirking. "Mai apne aap ko maaf nahi kar paayungi ki mujhe Sumedh aur Meghan ke saamne khaana pada tha tumhare chakkar mai!", says Aarti with a frown on her face. "That's my Aarti, awwww!", says Sumedh happily and hugs her. Meghan flashes a sweet expression of joy towards her. Basang holds his ears and Aarti throws a fake smirk at him. Basant sighs giving up. "Aap jald maan jaayogi!", says Basant looking at her sweetly. "Dekhte hai!", says Aarti crossing her hands. "Baap re baap! Challenge!", says Sumedh placing a hand on his mouth. "Maine..Maine kab diya?", asks Aarti. "Aapne diya!", says Sumedh happily. "Aag mai ghee daalne waale ladke, khaana kha, pehle bhi mujhe phasa diya tha!", says Meghan slapping his shoulder. "Maine kab aag mai ghee daala?", asks Sumedh with an innocent expression. "Waah! Sumedh! Waah!", claps Sumi sarcastically. "Abhi wohi kaam karke bol rahe ho maine nahi kiya! Itne nautanki ho tum!", says Sumi looking at him. Aarti and Basant looks at each other awkwardly. "Waise Sumi aur Sumedh, dono hi ek jaise hai jab bhi natkhatpan ki baat aati hai!", says Swarnali. "Hum dono?", asks Sumi and Sumedh in chorus. "Ji haa!", says everyone around. "Jab dekho tab shararat karte hai yeh dono milke!", says Swarnali giggling. For the first time ever, both of them were embarrassed and looks down immediately. "Bas bhi karo tum sab! Sumedh aur Meghan, tum dono apna apna khaana khaao!", says Aarti looking at them. "Par itna saara khaana, aisa lag raha hai gujrati thaali ki har ek dish hum dono ki plate pe ho!", says Sumedh looking towards his plate bewildered. "Tum dono ki kadi mehnat ke liye yeh mera uphaar hai!", says Basant looking at them. "Haa, yeh sab kha ke tum dono ko shakti milegi!", says Basant with a smile. "Par yeh noodles, yeh mai nahi kha paayunga!", says Sumedh looking at spicy noodles with a weird expression on his face. "Mujhe do!", says Basant looking towards him. "Haiiiii????", asks Sumedh with a shocked expression. "Haa mai keh raha hu mujhe do woh bowl!", says Basant looking towards him. "Bhaiya, hadd se jyada spicy hai, aap nahi kha paayoge!", says Sumedh looking at Basant concerned. Basant sighs and take the bowl of noodles from him. He starts eating it shocking the hell out of everyone. "Basant, sachme, tum yeh kaise kha sakte ho?", asks Meghan. "Kha, sakta hu!", says Basant eating the spicy noodles. Sumedh was gaping at him. "Oh my god!", exclaims Sumedh concerned. Swarnali, Sumi and Aarti looks on with a shocked expression while he finishes the bowl. "Basant Bhaiya, aap theek toh ho naa?", asks Sumi with a concerned voice. "Haa mujhe kya hoga? Mai theek hu!", says Basant happily. Sumi was however not convinced with his answer. Sumedh and Meghan were so shocked to say anything while they start eating as well, Gujrati thaali prepared by Basant for them. "Tum dono khaayo, mai zara yeh bowl wash karke aata hu!", says Basant while he get up from his place and walks to kitchen. Aarti looks on with a tense expression while Swarnali with a worried expression on his face. As soon as Basant enters the kitchen, he hurriedly put the bowl in the sink and starts gulping the water in one go, glass after glass. "Bahut teekha hai! Aaah!", exclaims Basant while his eyes becomes moist due to the spicy sensation of noodles. He gulps down 5 glasses of cold water to calm his senses down but in vain. He suddenly feel a touch on his shoulder, he wipe his moist eyes. Basant turns towards the person, Swarnali was standing behind him with cake in her hand. "Mai jaanti thi! Tumhe bahut jyada spicy laga hai!", says Swarnali worriedly. "Aisa kuch nahi hai Swarnali, mai theek hu!", says Basant with a sweet smile. "Tum Sumedh jitni acchi acting nahi kar paate, tumhare chehre se saaf pata chal raha hai!", says Swarnali with a concerned look on her face. Basant looks on surprised. "Yeh lo!", says Swarnali feeding the cake to him from her hand. Basant calms down when the sweetness of the cake [maybe different reason] engulfs him, he looks on with a very sweet expression towards her. "Thank you!", says Basant happily, his eyes shining. Swarnali blushes under his beautiful gaze. "Par tum yeh batayo, tumhe woh noodles khaane ki kya jarurat thi?", asks Swarnali while washing her hands. "Swarnali, tumhe kya lagta hai, Sumedh aur Meghan Bhaiya ko saza deke mujhe khushi hogi?", asks Basant. This was the time for Swarnali to get surprised. "Woh dono ko takleef mai dekh ke mujhe bhi bura lagta hai, bahut pyaar jo karta hu mai Sumedh se aur Meghan Bhaiya, jo meri inspiration hai!", says Basant with a sweet smile. Swarnali was speechless, looking at him with amazement on her face. "Jab mai unn dono ko itni takleef de sakta hu, toh mai thodi si takleef sehen nahi kar sakta kya unke liye?", says Basant. "Maine yeh noodles 2 reasons ki wajah se hi aise banaye the, ek Sumedh ne cheating ki jo ki galat hai, uska lesson dena tha!", says Basant with a sweet smile. Swarnali hears him curiously. "Aur isliye bhi banaye the kyuki mai acche se jaanta tha Sumedh nahi kha paayega toh mai kha lunga, aakhir unn dono ke pure din ki tadap ka thoda ehsaas mujhe bhi honi chahiye, kyu Swarnali?", asks Basant happily. "Bahut pyaar karte ho naa tum Sumedh aur Meghan Bhaiya se?", says Swarnali happily through her moist eyes. "Absolutely!", says Basant happily. "Tumse accha bhai ho hi nahi sakta!", says Swarnali happily through her tears which roll down her face. "Arey, Arey, tum ro kyu rahi ho?", asks Basant wiping her tears coming forward. "Khushi ke aansu hai!", says Swarnali giggling. "Tum bhi naa!", Basant smiles sweetly at her. "Sumedh meri jaan hai, Aarti aur Meghan mera sahara hai, Sumi iss ghar mai ek chulbuli ladki ki tarah hai, ek mera DIL hai!", says Basant looking towards Swarnali pressing on the word. Swarnali smiles happily while her cheeks turn bright red seeing which Basant flashes a teasing smile. "Mai jaanti hu!", says Swarnali joyfully. Basant spreads his arms towards her and Swarnali happily accept his embrace. Perhaps, the most comfortable place for Swarnali was his embrace, of Basant. Basant felt so happy in her embrace. Both smiles happily and takes a step backward. "Toh chale?", asks Swarnali. "Haa jarur!", replies Basant happily. They both turn to go outside and were taken aback. There was Aarti standing at the door looking at them, smiling happily, her eyes softens. "Aarti Di, aap?", asks Swarnali. She steps inside, comes closer to Basant, caress his cheek. "Mujhe garv hai tumpe, Basant!", says Aarti happily. Basant smiles sweetly at her. "Aur apni bholi behen ko maaf kar do? Please?", asks Aarti holding her ears looking at him with puppy eyes. "Arey, Aarti, yeh kya kar rahi ho? Aapke haath mujhe pyaar karne ke liye, mere kaan kheechne ke liye, aashirwaad dene ke liye uthne chahiye!", says Basant holding her hands. "Pagla kahinka! Idhar aa!", Aarti smiles happily. Basant hugs her excitedly while her smile deepen. Swarnali smiles happily looking at the love between them. "Ab maine woh hug dekh liya toh mujhe saza mat dena!", says Aarti worriedly. "Nahi Dunga!", laughs Basant. Swarnali becomes embarrassed. "Tum kyu sharma rahi ho Swarnali, sharmana toh Aarti ko chahiye, kyu Aarti?", asks Basant. Aarti looks at him shocked. "Arey Meghan utha ke jo le gaya!", says Basant flashing a teasing smile. Aarti turns 1000x redder as compared to Swarnali and runs outside. "Tum bhi naa Basant!", shouts Aarti blushing to core. Swarnali and Basant laughs. They all comes outside to see a comical sight. "Arey mar gaya re!", exclaims Sumedh. "Mera pet bahut jyada bhar gaya hai yaar!", says Meghan. "Nahi! Nahi! Aur Lo? Aap dono ko aur khaana tha naa?", asks Sumi in a louder tone. "Nahi! Nahi! Bas! Ho gaya!", says Sumedh stopping her. "Haa Sumi, ho gaya hamara!", says Meghan. "Ye kya ho raha hai?", asks Aarti. "Arey Di, pehle Sumedh ek thaali dekh ke hi santosh mai tha lekin phir inn dono ne 2-2 thaali khaana kha liya!", says Sumi who looks exhausted. "Itni bhukh lagi thi tum dono ko?", asks Aarti. "Lalach aa gaya tha Aarti, Basant Bhaiya itna badiya khaana jo banate hai!", says Sumedh happily. "Satyavachan, mere bhai!", says Meghan happily. "Aur mai?", asks Aarti with a pout expression on her face. "Aap bhi bahut accha banati ho lekin Basant Bhaiya ke haathon mai jaadu hai!", says Sumedh. Meghan nods in approval while Aarti roll her eyes. Everyone laughs happily. "Sumi idhar aana!", says Basant. Sumi looks on with a suspicious expression on her face. "Kyu?", asks Sumi. "Tum aayo toh!", says Basant signalling her with his hands happily. "Thik hai!", nods Sumi with a dubious look on her face. Basant takes her to Aarti's room happily while everyone follows behind them. "Yeh aap kya karne waale ho?", asks Sumi freaking out. Basant plays so called top Bollywood Horror Movies on the television. Sumi for initial few moments, closes her eyes in, but when she opens it for a minute, she roll down laughing. "Yeh kya bakwaas horror hai?", asks Sumi laughing. Sumedh looks pleasantly at her. "Tumhe darr laga?", asks Basant. "Darr aur isse?", asks Sumi, she roll down laughing. "Sumi ka toh yeh bahut purana darr tha Basant!", murmurs Swarnali. "Jo ki khatam ho gaya!", says Meghan. "Basant Bhaiya, tussi great ho!", praises Sumedh. "Dekha!", says Basant happily. "Arey haa, mera darr khatam ho gaya!", realises Sumi happily. "Waaaaaah!", Sumi jumps happily all over the room. "Basant Bhaiya, aapne mujhe darr se chutkara dilaane ke liye hi yeh kiya tha naa?", asks Sumi. "Haa!", nods Basant happily. "Basant Bhaiya, aap bahut acche ho!", Sumi hugs him happily. Basant places his hand on her head like a brother giving blessing to a sister. Swarnali, Sumi, Aarti, Meghan smiles proudly and looks at each other. Swarnali's POV- Mai khud ko bahut lucky samajhti hu. "Chalo ab sab so jaate hai!", says Aarti clapping her hands. Everyone agrees and goes to the guest room. "Aaj bahut thak gaya yaar!", says Sumedh sprawling on the bed. "Mere paav dukh rahe hai yaar!", says Meghan joining him. Basant joins him lying in the middle of Sumedh and Meghan while Swarnali, Sumi and Aarti sleep on another bed. Sumedh and Meghan rest their hands on Basant, coming towards him leaving no air for Basant. "Tum dono itna chipak kyu rahe ho mujhse?", asks Basant. "Bas aise hi, aaj hum dono ka bahut mann hai!", says Sumedh happily. "Hmmm! Aise hi rehne do hum dono ko Basant!", says Meghan. "Theek hai!", nods Basant awkwardly. Sumi, Swarnali and Aarti laughs seeing the awkward expression of Basant caught between Sumedh and Meghan. In the midnight-> Aarti wake up to drink water but the moment she witness again makes her speechless. She notices Basant who was massaging legs of Sumedh and Meghan while they were in deep sleep. Aarti sighs happily seeing the precious moment of brotherhood.

Chapter 22- A Big Plan.. Next Morning- Meghan was sleeping opposite the position in which he went to sleep, Sumedh was sleeping on floor while Basant was sleeping in the same position. Meanwhile Sumi, Swarnali and Aarti were also sleeping on the other side. Alarm rings, Basant becomes the first person to wake up and laughs seeing Sumedh. "Subah Subah aisa kuch dekhne ko mil jaata hai jisse hasi aa hi jaati hai!", says Basant. "Aur ab samajh aaya mujhe kiske paav lag rahe the! Ye Meghan Bhaiya bhi naa! Phewwww! Yeh dono nahi sudhrenge!", Basant slaps his forehead seeing Meghan. "Uthooo! Sumedh!!", says Basant in a louder tone. "Haa Bhaiya?!", Sumi wakes up hearing his loud call. Basant get confused and look towards Sumi. "Arey Sumi, tumhe nahi, iss shaitaan ko utha raha tha!", says Basant looking towards Sumedh. Sumi laughs seeing Sumedh and get up from his bed. "Aap mujhpe chod do!", says Sumi looking towards him. Basant flashes a knowing smile. "Sumedh!!!!!!!!", shouts Sumi sitting besides him. "Aaaaah! Bhaiyaaaaa!!", Sumedh wakes up screaming. Basant and Sumi laughs. "Yeh kya hai Chutki!", shouts Sumedh annoyed. "Kumbhkaran ki tarah sona band karo, university jaana hai!", says Sumi. Meghan wakes up but answers sleepily, "Tum sab jaayo, mujhe sone do!" Finally Aarti and Swarnali wakes up hearing the noise respectively. Sumi goes outside winking at Aarti. She calls Abby and Ron inside the room and point at Meghan. The dogs jump on Meghan licking his face. "Aaaah! Bas karo tum dono! Mujhe sone do yaar! Accha thik hai! Mai uth gaya! Ab khush!", says Meghan getting up from the bed. "Mera body pain thik ho gaya Sumedh!", says Meghan stretching up happily. Ron and Abby runs towards Sumedh and he gives them a loving hug in return. "Mera bhi, mai toh marr hi gaya tha lekin rahat mil gayi!", says Sumedh joyfully. "Pagal ladko, Basant ne tum dono ki massage ki thi kal raat ko!", says Aarti proudly. Basant looks towards her shocked beyond words. "Aapko kaise pata?", asks Basant confused. "Behen hu tumhari, mujhe sab pata hai!", says Aarti cheerfully. "Basant Bhaiya! Basant!", exclaims Sumedh and Meghan respectively and hugs Basant tightly. "Arey hato tum dono, meri saans ruk jaayegi, hato yaar!", shouts Basant. Swarnali gives a wink towards Basant while he blushes and scratches his head awkwardly and does the same. "OhOh..kya chal raha hai?", asks Aarti poking Swarnali. "Nahi..Nahi Kuch nahi!", says Swarnali avoidng her gaze. "Kitna jhoot bologi Swarnali? Mujhe sab dikh raha hai ki tumhare aur Basant Bhaiya mai itnaaaa pyaaaaar hai!", says Sumi happily while petting Ron along with Sumedh. "Bas bhi karo Sumi!", says Swarnali trying to hide her deep blush. "Waise baat toh sahi hai tumhari!", continues Basant looking at her with a loving gaze. "Oh my God, Basant Bhaiya, you are so romantic!", says Sumi happily looking at them. "Sahi kaha!", says Sumedh looking at Basant. "Thank you!", says Basant turning his intense gaze towards Swarnali again. "Agar tum dono ka romance ho gaya ho toh Basant chai bhi bana dena!", says Aarti waving her hand in between them. "Chalo Basant Bhaiya aap rehne do, mai chai bana deti hu!", says Sumi getting up from the floor and looking at Basant and Swarnali lovingly. Basant nods. Sumedh looks at her going to kitchen and he follows her handing Ron and Abby to Aarti. "Arey Sumedh, yeh kya kar rahe ho? Ron! Abby! Bas bhi karo!", says Aarti having a hard time managing the two overexcited dogs. "Yeh dono ko Sumedh aur Sumi se accha koi nahi sambhal sakta hai, jaise woh dono, ekdum aise hi Ron aur Abby, full of energy!", says Aarti happily trying to pet them. Meghan sit besides her and pet Ron lovingly on his head and looks at Aarti at the same time. Both Aarti and Meghan were lost in each other eyes. Sumedh comes behind her and blows air in her ear sending shivers to Sumi. She freaks out and Sumedh giggles. "Tum yahan?", shouts Sumi turning to look at him. "Isse kehte hai badla subah mere kaan mai chillane ka!", giggles Sumedh. "Accha ji!", says Sumi in reply. "Mai kuch madad karu?", asks Sumedh. "Bas cups nikaal do, aur haa, tod mat dena!", giggles Sumi. Sumedh pout and let the cup down as she says. He watches Sumi making tea with an adoring gaze. "Waaah! Waaah! Waaah! Inti sundar khusboo!", says Sumedh looking at the tea made by her. Sumi brings the teacup along with Sumedh and distribute it to everyone. "Chalo, jaldi jaldi pee lo! University jaana hai hum chaaro ko!", says Sumi drinking the tea. "Anand hi aa gaya, itni mast chai!", praises Sumedh. Sumi smiles and thanks him and Sumedh flashes his usual bright smile. "Accha aur mera nahi pasand tumhe?", asks Basant with a dubious look on his face. "Pasand hai but yeh chai bahut jyadaaaa acchi hai!", says Sumedh looking at Sumi. Basant sighs looking at him while Sumi giggles. "Sumedh, jara kitchen se namkeen aur paani le aana aur yeh cups wahan pe sahi se rakh ke aa jaayoge kya?", asks Aarti. "Haa Jarur!", says Sumedh. Aarti sees the chance of Sumedh going to the kitchen and call everyone around to sit infront of her. "Kal Sumedh ka Birthday hai!", says Aarti in a whisper to everyone. "Woowwww", exclaims Sumi and Swarnali happily. "Haa malum hai Aarti!", says Meghan happily. "Lekin Sumedh toh teen saal se birthday nahi manaya hai!", says Basant. "Bas wish kar do and usse celebrations pasand nahi thi!", continues Basant. "Woh puraani baat hai Bhaiya, Sumedh badal gaya hai, ab uska yeh waala birthday hum sab bahut dhoom dhaam se manayenge!", says Sumi smiling happily. Everyone nods happily. "Sumedh ka birthday hai, hum sab aise act karenge jaise hum sab ko yaad hi nahi hai!", giggles Sumi. "Nahi, Nahi Sumi, aisa mujhse nahi hoga!", says Basant giving up already. "Arey Basant Bhaiya, aap please saath do naa, aap Sumedh ke bade bhai ho!", pleads Sumi. "Haa lekin, mujhse natak nahi hoga Sumi!", says Basant worriedly. "Uski chinta aap mat karo! Aap sab wohi karo jo mai bolti hu baaki sab mujhpe aur Aarti Di pe chod do!", says Sumi rubbing her hands. "Mai tumhare saath hu Sumi!", says Aarti happily. "Ab yeh kya karne waali ho tum?", asks Swarnali. "Bas aap sab dekhte jaayo!", says Sumi flashing her gorgeous smile. "Chalo thik hai! Sumi keh rahi hai toh maan lete hai!", says Meghan in a cheerful voice. "Hey bhagwaan, yeh ladki mere bacche ko bahut pareshaan karegi uske janamdin pe!", giggles Aarti slapping her forehead. "Haa ji!", nods Sumi happily while everyone giggles. "Aap sab ek jhund banake kya baatein kar rahe ho?", wonders Sumedh appearing out of nowhere. Everyone jump towards their original place as Sumedh looks on with a dubious expression on his face. "Kya baatein kar rahe the aap sab?", ask Sumedh. "Sumedh bas yeh soch rahe the ki Basant aur Swarnali ka relationship official 2 saal ya 3 saal baad karna hai!", says Meghan in a convincing tone. Sumi was impressed with his acting capability and nods happily. Basant and Swarnali glares at Meghan but he flashes a teasing smile at them instead. "Yeh kya bol rahe ho aap?", murmurs Basant. "Abhi jo bol raha hu wohi sahi hai Basant! Haa mai Haa milaayo!", says Meghan lowering his voice. He throws a fake giggle infront of Sumedh while Basant does the same and he looks at Swarnali with a smile. Swarnali blushes happily at the thought of Meghan's words. "Mai toh jald se jald Swarnali ka devar banna chahta hu!", says Sumedh in a dreamland mode. "Sumedh!!!!", shouts everyone. "Kya ho gaya? Maine aisa kya bol diya?", asks Sumedh bewildered. "Tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta!", sighs Meghan happily. Aarti and Sumi look at each other and shake their head. Basant and Swarnali becomes so embarrased that they run outside together, hand in hand, leaving everyone laughing with each other. "Chalo Meghan Bhaiya ne baat puri tarah acche se ghuma di!", murmurs Sumi happily. "Kuch kaha Sumi?", asks Sumedh. "Woh..Woh..AC band kar do, room bahut thanda ho gaya hai!", says Sumi making an excuse. Sumedh turns the AC off and Sumedh along with Sumi, Aarti and Meghan chat about random things. "Kal hoga Dhamaka!", says Sumi looking towards Aarti. Aarti gives a high five to her when Sumedh was busy talking to Meghan. "Sumedh ka yeh birthday bahut special hoga!", says Aarti happily. "Bilkul!", exclaims Sumi happily.
