Chapter 18- Revelation.."Chalo hum dono chalte hai!", says Swarnali getting up."Haa Swarnali, bahut raat ho gayi hai, hum dono jaate hai Aarti Di!", says Sumi following Swarnali."Sumedh, Basant, inn dono ko inke ghar pe drop kar do!", says Aarti looking at both of them."Haa jarur!", says Basant flashing a teasing smile at Swarnali.Swarnali looks at him and give him a scary expression. Basant giggles."Aur tum dono seedha inn dono ko drop karke ghar laut jaana!", says Aarti.Sumedh and Basant nods."Thik hai Basant?", asks Aarti looking at Basant particularly."Haa!", says Basant with a happy smile.Basant extends his hand like an escort."May I?", asks Basant happily."Sure!", says Swarnali giggling.Swarnali happily accepts his hand. They both smile at each other and walks outside.On the other hand, Sumedh and Sumi look at them stunned, they steal glances awkwardly."Chal Chutki!", says Sumedh lightly slapping on her shoulder."Chukti kisko bolo?", asks Sumi annoyed."Tumko! Chalo!", says Sumedh smiling."Pagal!", murmurs Sumi."Kucha kaha?", asks Sumedh."Kuch nahi boss, chaliye!", replies Sumi.Sumedh giggles.Sumedh literally drag her outside holding her hand."Araam se Sumedh!", says Aarti smiling.She looks at Meghan and both giggles happily.In the car-"Jab se tere naina, mere naino se lage re tab se deewana hua...", sings Basant looking into the mirror to find Swarnali smiling and blushing beside him.Basant winks at Swarnali raising her heartbeats.Sumi and Sumedh looks at each other hopelessly."Mujhe aisa lag raha hai hum dono ko alag se cab mai chale jaana chahiye tha!", murmurs Sumi in ear of Sumedh."Sahi kaha chutki!", nods Sumedh approved.They both give Basant and Swarnali awkward stares.Later in Guest's room-Meghan was sitting in the room looking at his shoulder."Aaah! Sachme Basant ki shakti ke saamne ke koi tik nahi sakta hai!", says Meghan touching his shoulder gently."Chalo accha hai mujhe laga, Sumedh ko nahi!", sighs Meghan happily."Chalo jaldi theek ho jaana!", says Meghan tapping his own shoulder.Aarti enters the room to find Meghan looking at his shoulder.She comes behind him and touches his shoulder."Aaah!", shouts Meghan looking over his shoulder."Aarti tum?", asks Meghan smiling at her."Dard ho raha hai?", asks Aarti gently."Nahi..mujhe dard nahi ho raha hai!", says Meghan flashing his bright smile.Aarti grabs his shoulder and presses it hardly."Aaaaaahhhh!", shrieks Meghan."Mujhse jhoot nahi bol sakte ho tum samjhe!", says Aarti looking at him."Tum yahi ruko!", says Aarti and goes outside.Meghan on the other hand looks at his shoulder. Aarti comes inside with an ointment in her hand and sit besides Meghan."Ekdum aise hi baithe raho!", says Aarti and starts applying the ointment."Hmmm!", nods Meghan.Meghan closes his eyes due to the burning sensation. Looking at his expression, she gently blow air on his shoulder making Meghan flustered.Aarti's POV- Dekho toh pura laal ho gaya hai.Aarti giggles.Meghan's POV- Isko dekho, mujhe laal dekh ke isse hasi aa rahi hai.She gently massages his shoulder with an ointment making him relax.Meghan closes his eyes enjoying her massage."Mujhe bahut accha lag raha hai!", says Meghan smiling with his eyes closed."Tumhare chehre pe dikh raha hai mujhe!", says Aarti happily."Basant bhi naa, agar pyaar lutata hai toh apna sab kuch deta hai lekin agar gussa hota hai toh narayan bhi usse nahi rok sakte hai!", giggles Aarti."Basant jaisa bhi hai woh bahut accha hai!", says Meghan smiling heartily."So toh hai!", says Aarti with a pride smile.Meghan rest his head on her lap."Yeh kya kar rahe ho?", asks Aarti embarrassed."Pyaari Aarti!", says Meghan squeezing her cheeks looking at her with twinkle in his eyes."Yeh anyaay hai!", says Aarti trying to hide her face."Tumhe aise dekhna mujhe bahut pasand hai!", says Meghan winking at her."Hey Narayan!", says Aarti turning all red.Meghan giggles happily looming at her.After few moments, Meghan closes his eyes and fall asleep. Aarti looks at his innocent face."Shakal se innocent, mann se natkhat!", says Aarti jokingly.Next Day-"Sumedh, mujhe aaj jaldi jaana hoga! Aaj mera ek group discussion hai!", says Basant coming down the main hall along with Sumedh following him behind."Maine tumhare liye breakfast bana diya hai, tum kha ke jaldi aa jaana, mai bus se jaa raha hu, motorbike keys rakh di hai maine tumhare liye!", says Basant in a louder tone going outside the gate.Sumedh nods sleepily."Aarti jaldi chalo!", calls Meghan folding the newspaper back."Haa aayi!", says Aarti coming down the main hall."Aap dono kaha jaa rahe ho itni subah 7 baje?", asks Sumedh."Sumedh mujhe bank ka kaam hai, papa ne kuch documents bheje hai usko bhi submit karwana hai!", says Aarti."Aur mujhe office ke kaam se jaana hai, mai jaa hi raha hu toh socha Aarti ko bhi drop kar dunga!", says Meghan."Accha", nods Sumedh happily."Tum 9 baje university chale jaana. Thik hai?", asks Aarti.Sumedh nods approved.Aarti and Meghan leaves the house when Sumedh head straight to his bed again.In Singh's residence-"Sumi, mai University jaa rahi hu, mujhe apna project dena hai!", says Swarnali."Naashta toh karke jaao!", calls Sumi."Sumi, aaj time nahi! Mujhe jaldi jaana hoga!", pleads Swarnali."Abhi toh 7:30 baje hai?", says Sumi staring at her watch."Arey mujhe apni friends ke saath project ki kuch details discuss karke submit karna hai!", says Swarnali."Thik hai!", nods Sumi happily."Aur Haa, Basant ne mujhe call pe bataya hai ki Sumedh ghar pe hi hai, tum uske saath aa jaana, thik hai?", asks Swarnali."Haa thik hai! Tum araam se jaayo!", says Sumi happily."Yeh lo tumhara lunch!", says Sumi handing her the lunch box."Thank you and I love you girl!", says Swarnali happily hugging her and kissing her on the cheek."I love you too!", says Sumi hugging and kisses her on the cheek."Bye!", waves Swarnali and rushes outside the home."Bye!", waves Sumi happily."Chalo mai puja kar lu phir taiyaar ho jaati hu!", murmurs Sumi happily.Sumi quickly offers her prayers, dress up and eat her breakfast."Arey 8:10 ho gaye hai, mujhe pehle Sumedh ke ghar jaana hai!", says Sumi locking her house.She quickly takes autorickshaw for Desai's residence and pays the money to autodriver respectively.She rings the bell of Desai's home.There was no response."Sumedh!", calls Sumi.She waits outside after ringing the bell again."5 mins hone waale hai, abhi tak koi nahi aaya?", wonders Sumi looking at her watch.She turns to ring the bell again when the door opens, Sumedh looks at her."Itni derr kyu laga di Sumedh?", asks Sumi gently.Sumedh falls unconscious in her arms."Sumedh! Phir se aisa mazaak?", giggles Sumi."But this time, it feels different as Sumi realises that Sumedh feels heavier than the last day."Sumi..", murmurs Sumedh in a very low voice.She quickly touches his forehead with her forehead."Tumhe toh bahut fever hai!", says Sumi, worry in her voice.Seeing no option as Sumedh loses his consciousness, Sumi lifts him up easily.She makes him rest on his bed and covers him with the blanket."Mai abhi aati hu!", Sumi rushes to the kitchen.She brings a small towel and cloth and a bowl of cold water and rushes to his room. Sumedh was unconscious burning with fever."Kya jarurat thi itni bahadur banne ki kal?", murmurs Sumi as she wets the cloth in the cold water.She places the cloth on his forehead and wipes the sweat off his face and neck with a towel.She repeats the process for continuously 2-3 hours forgetting that she had to go to university as Sumedh was her first concern at that time.Sumedh slowly opens his eyes and looks at Sumi who was sitting beside her."Tum?", asks Sumedh."Haa, mai, tum kaise ho ab?", asks Sumi gently."Theek hu!", says Sumedh in a low voice."Tum yahi araam karo, mai tumhare liye daliya aur medicines laati hu!", says Sumi getting up and turning to go when Sumedh catches hold of her hand.Sumi loses her balance with the sudden turn and falls over him.They were lost in each other's eyes."Yahi baitho, mere saath!", says Sumedh in a low voice.Sumi nods approved.She sit besides Sumedh and pats him while he fall asleep holding her hand."Sumi, tum mere liye bahut khaas ho!", murmurs Sumedh in deep sleep."Yeh kya tha?", wonders Sumi.She smiles at him sweetly.Sumi carefully makes her hand free from hold of Sumedh and goes to kitchen to prepare Daliya for him.Meanwhile, Basant calls Sumedh, Sumi goes to his room to find his phone ringing."Haa Basant Bhaiya, boliye?", says Sumi receiving the call."Tum dono kahan ho? Subah se nahi dikh rahe the!", asks Basant from the canteen of the university."Bhaiya, Sumedh ko fever ho gaya hai isliye mai uski dekhrekh kar rahi thi!", says Sumi."Kyaaa?!", worries Basant."Bhaiya, chinta mat kariye, abhi woh so raha hai, woh theek hai subah ke comparison mai!", says Sumi trying to calm him down."Sumi, mai abhi ghar aata hu!",says Basant."Nahi Bhaiya, aap chinta mat karo, mai hoon naa, aap apna university pura attend karke aa jaayo!", says Sumi in a convincing tone."Thik hai!", nods Basant reluctantly.Swarnali places her hand on his shoulder."Swarnali, mujhe bahut bura lag raha hai!", says Basant overcoming with a feeling of guit."Sumedh theek ho jaayega, Sumi hai naa!", assures Swarnali.Basant nods.Sumi hangs up the call and goes to the kitchen again. She brings Daliya for Sumedh in room."Sumedh?", calls Sumi gently by tapping him.Sumedh wakes up hearing her voice.Sumedh sits on his bed and Sumi sits infront of him on a stool."Yeh kha lo!", says Sumi placing Daliya infront of him.Sumedh looks at it with a unhappy expression."Mujhe nahi khaana yeh!", says Sumedh moving the bowl away."Aise kaise nahi khaana?", says Sumi taking the bowl and taking a spoonful of it."Muh kholo!", says Sumi placing the spoon infront of him.Sumedh makes faces, Sumi sighs and stuffs it in his mouth."Arey waah, yeh toh bahut accha hai!", says Sumedh after eating a bite."Hai naa? toh khaayo!", says Sumi feeding him.He finishes up the bowl quickly and makes faces seeing medicine."Phir se nakhre!", says Sumi giving him medicine."Yuuuuckkkkk!", exclaims Sumedh.Sumi laughs seeing his weird expression.Aarti comes to Desai's residence. She enters the home to find it open."Sumedh university nahi gaya kya?", wonders Aarti as she steps inside.She enters his room to find him resting on bed with Sumi sitting besides him."Kya hua Sumedh?", comes Aarti worriedly."Kuch nahi Aarti, bas fever ho gaya!", says Sumedh trying to calm her down."Aane do Basant ko, uski khair nahi aaj!", says Aarti rubbing her wrist."Mera bhai, kaisa hai tu?", asks Aarti ruffling his hair."Mai theek hu Aarti!", says Sumedh smiling at her."Mera baccha!", exclaims Aarti as she puts a loving kiss on his forehead.Sumi adores the beautiful bond of sister and brother."Sumi ne mera bahut dhyaan rakha hai!", says Sumedh looking towards Sumi."Sumi! Mai tumhara shukriya ada kaise karu?", asks Aarti holding her hands."Bas ek jhappi?", asks Sumi."Yeh koi puchne waali baat hai? Aa!", Aarti hugs her happily."Sorry, meri wajah se tum university nahi jaa paayi!", says Sumedh."Uss samay mera tumhare saath hona jaruri tha isliye mai nahi gayi!", says Sumi."Tum bahut acchi ho Sumi!", says Aarti adoring Sumi.Sumedh flashes a little weak smile at both of them.After some hours, Basant runs slamming the door open with Swarnali following him behind."Sumedh!!", shouts Basant and rushes in his room to find Sumedh resting peacefully and Sumi reading a book sitting beside him.His face break into a smile and his eyes becoming moist."Aa gaye tum!", comes Aarti from behind him and pull his ears tightly."Aaaaah!", shrieks Basant.Sumedh wakes up hearing the loud voice and looks at Basant.Swarnali slaps her forehead."Ab toh tum gaye!", murmurs Swarnali sighing."Yeh sab tumhari wajah se hua hai, naa tum mere bhai ko uss icebath mai daalte, naa isse fever hota!", scolds Aarti.Basant was clearly looking guilty of his deeds and looks towards Sumedh sadly."Mujhe maaf kar do Sumedh!", says Basant holding his ears."Nahi bhaiya, iski jarurat nahi hai!", says Sumedh with a happy smile."Jarurat hai Sumedh!", says Aarti."Chalo, mere saamne 200 baar sit up karo kaan pakad ke!", orders Aarti giving him punishment."200 baar?", asks Basant shocked."Haa!", says Aarti.Basant obeys her orders and accept her punishment. Sumedh smiles wryly."Chalo theek hai!", says Aarti forgiving him at last.Basant smiles widely at her and hugs Sumedh tightly."Jaante ho mai itna pareshaan ho gaya tha!", says Basant, relief washing over him.Sumedh pats his back happily."Shaant Bhaiya Shaant!", says Sumedh happily.Basant smiles happily, embracing him, pouring his love for him.Aarti's POV- Jaisa ki maine kaha tha! Basant aisa hi hai!She sighs happily."Ek second? Mai yahan kaise pahuncha? Woh bhi apne room mai?", wonders Sumedh looking towards Sumi."Mai utha ke le aayi!", says Sumi happily.Everyone looks shocked with gaping mouth except Swarnali."Tum??!!!", asks Sumedh shocked."Sumi bachpan se bahut strong hai!", remarks Swarnali."Baap re baap!", exclaims Aarti.Basant was speechless."Tum stairs pe Sumedh ko leke bhi chad gayi?", asks Basant."Haa Bhaiya!", says Sumi as if it was a very normal question to her."Mai nahi maanta!", denies Sumedh."Accha Sumedh, theek ho jaayo, mai tumhe dikha dungi!", says Sumi giggling."Haa thik hai!", says Sumedh.Everyone laughs seeing Sumedh's disapproved expression.At Night (7 pm)-"Itna sab ho gaya?", asks Meghan surprised in Guest room after returning from the office."Haa", says Aarti smiling."Mujhe bhi yakeen nahi ho raha hai!", says Meghan in disbelief."Yahi sach hai Meghan!", says Aarti giggling."Woh toh parso pata chal jaayega!", giggles Meghan."So toh hai!", smiles Aarti.2 Days Later- In Desai's residence-Main Hall (5 pm)"Aa jaayo Sumi!", challenges Sumedh."Kya?", asks Sumi with a dubious look."Mere saath arm wrestle karo!", says Sumedh boastfully."Arm wrestle? Theek hai!", says Sumi sitting infront of him in Main Hall."Soch lo Sumedh!", giggles Swarnali."Haa soch liya, aayo shuru karte hai!", says Sumedh."Mai kuch nahi bolungi! Mai tum dono ke sides pe hu!", says Aarti with a perplexed expression."Yeh kaisi baat hai bhala? Hai naa?", asks Meghan in freaking scared voice."Uski apni meethi baaton mai mat uljhaao!", says Aarti looking at Meghan.Sumi giggles while Meghan prays for his life."Bhagwan bacha lena!", murmurs Meghan.They both end up engaging in arm wrestle and Meghan meets his defeat."Ooowwwwwwwwww!!!!!", winces Meghan in pain."Sumedh bahut dard ho raha hai naa?", asks Meghan looking at Sumedh sadly."Haa Meghan Bhaiya, meri kalaai puri tarah barbaad ho gayi hai, mai phir se nahi likh paayunga!", says Sumedh in a crybaby voice."Samajh sakta hu bhai!", says Meghan in a crybaby voice as well .They hug each other accepting their defeat.Everyone giggles."Tum dono ko phir se karna hai?", asks Basant."NAHIIII!!", shouts Sumedh and Meghan in chorus freaking scared."Haa, hum haar maante hai, jai ho tumhari Sumi!", says Sumedh running away."Haa Sumedh thik keh raha hai, tumhare jaisa koi nahi! Mere liye ruko Sumedh!", Meghan runs behind Sumedh.Everyone looks at them running for their lives and roll down laughing."Meri behen jo hai!", says Swarnali happily.Later at Night-Basant and Swarnali are at a bakery store together."Chalo Sumedh ke liye Chocolate cake le leta hu!", says Basant happily."Haa!", nods Swarnali. Basant smiles at her happily."Aur yeh chocolate khaayoge?", asks Swarnali extending her own chocolate to him."Kha lun?", asks Basant.Swarnali nods happily, "Ek bite lekin"."Thik hai!", nods Basant and eats whole Chocolate in one bite and runs away after making payment."Hawwwww! Pura kha liya! Basant!!!! Aarghhhhh!!!", says Swarnali angrily running behind him.Basant stick out his tongue at her."Tumhe mai nahi chodungi!", Swarnali runs behind him and finally catches a hold of him.She beats him on his back while Basant laughs happily and walks home together hand in hand.In Desai's residence (8 pm)-"Yaar itni maza aayi thi uss din!", says Sumedh giggling."Aur woh meeeooowwwww!!!", laughs Meghan."Basant Bhaiya aur Swarnali itne acche lag rahe the saath mai!", says Sumi happily."Woh toh hai hi, Basant bhaiya ne toh Swarnali ke saamne shirt hi utaar di thi!", says Sumedh surprised."Bas bhi karo Sumedh!", laughs Aarti."Woh jarur bhaiya ne Swarnali ko impress karne ke liye kiya hoga!", says Sumedh smirking with evil expression."Nahi mere bhai bhola hai, dekha tha naa, uski shirt bheeg gayi thi!", says Aarti happily."Mujhe bhi lagta hai Sumedh sahi keh raha hai Aarti!", says Meghan."Unn dono ko dekh ke mera bura haal ho gaya tha! Itna jyada romantic!", sighs Meghan."Aise bhaukhlaye ki dharaam se gir gaye!", giggles Sumedh.Meghan smirks."Aur jab Swarnali Basant ke kandhe pe sar rakh ke so jaati hai! Bahut pyaari lag rahi hogi!", says Aarti happily."Basant Swarnali ke eyelock ke baare mai soch ke hi anand mil raha hai!", says Sumi happily.Meghan suddenly get shocked with others face turning ashen well, he signals Sumedh to keep quiet."Kya hua Meghan Bhaiya? Bahut accha hua tha uss din, ek shawl mai romance, haaay!", says Sumedh."Bas bhi karo Sumedh!", says Sumi in a serious tone."Sumi sahi keh rahi hai Sumedh!", says Aarti looking quite shocked herself."Basant Bhaiya aur Swarnali hans aur hansini ki sundar jodi jaise lag rahe the!", says Sumedh daydreaming.Meghan's POV- Chup ho jaa Sumedh!
