I see two ways:

1) Krishna subtly tells Drau to demand war.

2) Radha convinces Krishna that war is necessary.

Krishna: Mein dharma sankat mein aagaya. I am here for dharma sthapana, but the lives of innocents will be destroyed in this chaos. Radha: Sab ko act karna parta hai, but yeh gunon ka prabhav hai, aatma ka will nahi.
