Aww thanks, Glad you're enjoying! Okay so without commenting on the brotherhood or confirming anything 😆 I'll come to the question you asked..So Asad and Ayaan do share the same friend circle but MOST of these guys were Asad's friends before Ayaans that too from childhood. Ayaan has lived in and out of Kasauli and for the most part spent his life in London and when he came to India permanently Zoya was in new york. So whilst Akram is a close friend of Asad's he has just recently gotten to know Ayaan and doesn't know Zoya is his sister. Also, do remember that MOST people in Kasauli do not know who Zoya is or what her relationship with the Farooqui's is..she is always said to be Zeenats sister to outsiders.

Now that being said, there IS a twist which will come up in part 17 & 18 and will clear the whole thing up. I am not confirming if Akram knows or not..you'll find out the whole deal soon..hope that helps 😆

Great chapter! Asad's past seems so heart-wrenching. If I have to make guesses then I think that they raped a girl and killed her (in the most grotesque way) since Asad seemed so traumatized. Of course, knowing you there will be much more to it. Reading about Asad's past and obvious devastation reminded me of this line from Grey's Anatomy-- "People have scars in all sorts of unexpected places like secret road maps of their personal histories, diagrams of all their old wounds. Most of our old wounds heal leaving nothing behind but a scar. But some of them don't. Some wounds we carry with us everywhere and though the cut's long gone, the pain still lingers".

The Asya moments were obviously my favourite bits. Especially the one in the cafe where ONLY Zoya could piss AAK off and live to tell the tale 😛. Their scenes reminded me of this couplet-- Aag suraj mein hoti hai, jalna zameen ko padta hai ... mohabbat nigahein karti hai, tadapna dil ko padta hai

Loved that Zoya gave it back to Sameer publicly. At least some of them have a clue as to what's going on even if they do nothing about it. Lets hope they the people of Kasauli have the courage to speak up when it counts.

Azlan and Asad scenes ripped my heart apart. I read a simple line once that Azlan should really hear-- "You never loved (him)...Because you don't destroy the people you love" Azlan needs to get his act together. Cause as much as I love him he's really falling in my eyes with every step he takes. He obviously hates playing second fiddle to Asad but has to grow a pair and match up to him.

Humeira is really playing with fire. She's going to get her heart broken and I don't think she's capable of dealing with that. Their scene reminded me of a line from Fanaa that you could make Ayaan use on Naina (even if only to screw with Azlan--

Phool hoon gulaab ka chameli ka mat samajhna ... aashiq hoon aapka apni saheli ka mat samajhna

As always, love the role that Dilshad and Malik play in the FF. Growing a real soft corner for Maya too. Seems to be the only normal one in that Haveli.
