Dilshad constructions:
All the staff greeted Asad and Ayaan as soon as they entered and they reappropriated them with a smile. Soon Asad's secatry Rohan came to them.
Asad: Rohan tell everyone who is involved in the sea link project to assemble in the conference room within half n hour after that bring my schedule
Rohan: okay sir!
Conference hall:
Rohan, Tanveer and all the other staff were already present over there when Asad and Ayaan entered
Asad: I hope everybody got to know about DC cracking that important sea link tender, congrats to everyone our hard work has paid off well, but it's not over yet since the government has given us such a big responsibility I want to commence with it tomorrow itself. whatever another project you all are working on wined up today itself or transfer it to someone else as I want all of you to focus in this.
All of them nodded in approval
Asad: you all can get back to your work
All of them left from there except for Ayaan, Tanveer, and Rohan
Asad:what is the status of new recruitment you were talking about Ayaan?
Ayaan:I have already shortlisted some and mailed Tanveer, right Tanveer?
Tanveer(with her extra sugar coated voice): yes Asad! Since from tomorrow you want to start with the project, all the interviews will be conducted today itself so that we can appoint them from tomorrow.
Asad:good work Tanveer
Tanveer just smiled shyly at it, as if he had just proposed her.
Rohan:excuse me, sir!which recruitment you all are talking about as per my knowledge there is no shortage of staff over here.
Ayaan: right Rohan still we need some experienced architects, bhaijaan is there but he has many other things to look after, he can't concentrate specifically on architecture and coming to me I am still a kind of intern, there are many things I still need to learn. So it's better we recruit some experienced people.
Asad: we have many architects but we can't involve everyone for this project since there are other projects too which have to be looked after we can't burden them. So Ayaan's idea is cool will recruit some new architects
Rohan: okay!that's a good idea sir.
Ayaan: Tanveer, as usual, you will be handling the interviews, I have already shortlisted everyone, but you make sure you recruit the best.
Tanveer: don't worry Ayaan, I will handle everything. I will start with the interview they all might be waiting.
She went from there and was walking towards her cabin when she bumped into someone and all her files got scattered
Tanveer(angrily): hell!!!are u bloody blind or rented your eyes somewhere?
Zoya: I'm soo sorry, I didn't saw you, I was in a hurry(she immediately picked up all the files and gave back to her) sorry again.
Tanveer just rudely took all the files from her hand and was above to leave when she stopped again and asked
Tanveer: I have not seen you here before, why are you here?
Zoya: I have got a call from here for an interview, I'm an architect btw
Tanveer(smiling sarcastically): I will be the one who will be interviewing you, sorry to say you are rejected.
Zoya: rejected! Maam you can't reject me without interviewing for such a small thing and I'm really sorry for that.
Tanveer was above to ignore her and walk away when she saw Rohan witnessing everything
Tanveer:look Ms whatever I'm rejecting you because you are late, your reporting time was 10 and it's already 10:15, how will you work in such a multinational company with this unpunctual behaviour of yours.
Zoya:please ma'am, actually I was stuck up on the way or else I am a very punctual person
Tanveer: you are not even been appointed or interviewed and you already started with your excuses, and you want me to appoint such an unprofessional and lose my job
Seeing everything Rohan came to them
Rohan: it's okay Tanveer! It's just a matter of 15mins forget it
Zoya:yes ma'am, please! It's my dream job, I always wanted to work here
Tanveer: I guess I made my point clear so just leave from here and Rohan I'm the HR over her so let me do my job, DON'T INTERFERE.
Rohan and Zoya both left from there
Rohan thinking"just because she is asad sir's friend and from his college, she misuses that think a lot"
Zoya was almost on the verge of crying for losing her dream job, she walking towards the exit when someone tapped her shoulders, she immediately turned around
Zoya:YOU!!!
Ayaan(smilingly): yes it's me!what a coincidence we are meeting again and again
Ayaan thinking"I didn't expect such a quick response Allah Miya you are the best"
Zoya anyhow was not used to talking to a stranger, currently, she was in no mood to talk to anyone,she just ignored him and started walking again
Ayaan:arre wait yaar!! Okay, tell me what happened why are you so sad?
Zoya:nothing, just going home
Ayaan:your dress is not spoiled than why are you going home?
Zoya just rolled his eyes at his annoying joke
Ayaan: I was just cheering you up! I respect your privacy, but the thing is I genuinely want to compensate for my past action. Your poor sister had to miss her lecture because of me(thinking"poor my foot that alien was not less") now you are going out of my office so sadly,please let me help tell me what happened
Zoya thought for a while then told everything happened to Ayaan about her and Tanveer's encounter
Ayaan: she rejected you without even interviewing!!
Zoya: yes, that's because I was late
Ayaan: just 15mins that too because of us and the interview was not yet started, you come with me
Zoya: no it's okay
Ayaan:my bhaijaan says if we dream something it's never gonna fulfilled until we are not ready to chase behind it or if we give up quickly and if you lack in the skills you are definitely gonna rejected but that would be better than walking out without even getting a chance
Zoya thinking"he is indeed making sense,coming to his bhaijaan does he also work here? I just hope no I can't work with so much arrogance but maybe I was also at fault for shouting at him, he was caring also maybe I misunderstood him(remembering him giving a bottle to humeira) what's wrong with me! Do I fully lost it?"
Ayaan(chirpingly):back to earth madam! And follow me
Zoya's trance was broken hiding her embarrassment she followed Ayaan
Ayaan: you wait here with others until you are called
Zoya just nodded and took her seat
Ayaan entered the conference room where Tanveer was interviewing someone
Ayaan: Tanveer we need to talk excuse us everyone
All the other candidates left the room
Ayaan: After hours of my struggle, I have shortlisted some candidates and told you to recruit the best among them and without even taking their interview they are getting rejected may I know why?
Tanveer immediately remembered whom he was talking about
Tanveer(innocently): ayaan she was late
Ayaan: you gave all of them 10:00 time, now its almost 11 and you just started with the interviews and she reported at 10:15, so by what logic you rejected her?
Tanveer was above to say something when Ayaan interrupted
Ayaan: I don't want any further argument regarding this, she was late because of me and her reason is genuine so you are interviewing her
Tanveer just nodded in approval
Ayaan was above to leave when he decided against it thinking"I can't trust this diabetes, in this case, it's better I stay here or else she will create other new problem"
Ayaan took a seat beside her and said"I can't take any further risk regarding this project I will accompany you . you may continue"
Tanveer was confused by his behaviour but then continued her work silently cursing Zoya
Soon Zoya's turn came and Tanveer bombarded her with many technical and non-technical question but then she answered all of them wisely which was already annoying Tanveer for not getting any chance to reject her.
Ayaan was totally impressed by her, thought" perfect choice bhaijaan, beauty with brains"
Ayaan (seeing her resume): Ms. Zoya Siddique you are appointed, welcome to Dilshad Constructions you can join from tomorrow.
Tanveer(reluctantly): just sign this bond and you can take your appointment letter.
Zoya(smiled): thanks ma'am and thank you sir
Zoya happiness knew no bounds, she just wanted to run from there and give this news to her abbu and gudiya, she readily signed the bond and left from there.
Zoya thinking"Allah Miya! Thank you so much, I can't believe this! I got my dream job hope so soon I will get the chance to meet my role model Rashid Ahmed Khan. Seeing my appointment letter abbu and gudiya would be so happy"
Zoya: appointment letter? Allah Miya what's wrong with you Zoya! How can you be so careless to forget to take your appointment letter. I just hope that lady doesn't create an issue for this
Here Rohan was accompanying a very pissed off asad
Asad(annoyingly): how come both the meeting got cancelled Rohan!!
Rohan: sir that clients was not able to make it
Asad: great then! Even I don't have all the time in the world for them, we are not dealing with them
Rohan: but sir, they were genuinely stuck up and if we cancel their deal they have to face a heavy loss, and one of them that is AB constructions has just started with their venture
Asad: you don't have to worry about them! Anyways everything is ready for the conference call?
Rohan: yes sir
With that both of them entered the conference hall, where Tanveer was going through all the documents of the new recruitments, now asad was boiling with anger and Rohan just wanted to disappear from the spot
Ayaan: bhaijaan, what are you doing here?
Asad(composing himself): I and Rohan was getting bored as two of our meetings got cancelled so we were planning to play basketball over here, you both joining us?
Tanveer: what!
Asad: exactly WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ROHAN!!
Rohan: sorry sir (turning towards Tanveer) we are having a conference call with foreign delegates over here in some time and what have you done to the room(looking at the changed chair and table arrangements) at least you should have informed me before I would have arranged another room.
Tanveer: sorry jammy actually there was some maintenance work going on in my cabin so I arranged everything over here
That was the final stroke for his temper
Asad(shouted): firstly it's not our college campus Tanveer call me asad and it's not even a garden where you can go wherever you want. Why the hell you did not coordinate with Rohan, he is my assistant whatever you do you better inform him and Rohan you better cross check everything before!! He was above to continue with a ranting when a heard minute noise something falling
He turned around and was shock to see the same girl who was creating havoc inside him since the morning encounter
Asad thinking"is she really over here or I'm hallucinating"
Zoya came back for her appointment letter but then the sight of men talking so rudely to a lady made her extremely nervous and in that, file in her hand slipped from her. As soon as he turned around she was shocked seeing the same stranger whom she was drolling over in the morning.
Zoya thinking"I was right about him before he is just an arrogant person, I can't believe he is the famous AAK Asad Ahmed Khan no I won't be able to work for him"
Tanveer:what are you doing here now? Can't you just knock before coming
Zoya: I...acc..tually knocked but then...
Ayaan(with a smile): miss Siddique! I know why are you here you forgot this right?(showing her the envelope)
Zoya: no, I came here to inform that I won't be able to work here as something personal came up so I'm sorry I won't be able to make up.
Asad(shockingly): she is an employee over here?
Tanveer: no asad, she was one of the new candidate which we had recruited, its good she is quitting anyhow she was 15mins late for her reporting and also very careless who forgets taking their appointment letter(taking the appointment letter)I will cancel it(turning to Zoya)you can leave, DC don't need such an unprofessional candidate.
Zoya's eyes moistened hearing Tanveer insulting her so much, but then she ignored it and was taking her leave
Asad: wait!
Zoya looked at him, he took the letter from tanveer and went towards Zoya
Asad: ms? (looked at Tanveer)
Tanveer(immediately): Zoya Siddiqui
Asad: so Zoya your appointment letter is made which means all the paperwork is done, so I'm not leaving you anywhere...(immediately changing his words)I mean to say is the bond you have signed according to that you can't leave my company until you complete three major projects over here than to if you want to leave you have pay the compensation amount of 20 lakhs then only you are free to move right Ms. Mirza
Tanveer: yeah absolutely
Zoya(nervously): I know...I re..ead that bond but I have not joined yet
Asad: you have you are now officially a DC's employee only thing is you are reporting from tomorrow
Zoya was totally speechless and was badly scared of him now by the way he trapped her
Asad(handling the letter to her):you were late today that is understood but tomorrow sharp at 9
With that, he went from there. One more person was totally speechless with all this occurring that's none other than Billo rani
Tanveer thinking"what was that!! Was that really my jammy or someone else and who the hell is she!! first I rejected her then ayaan came for her rescue than she herself wanted to quit than jammy forced her on the name of a stupid bond and also addressing her by her first name. why are they both hell bend in appointing her here? All these signs are not at all good, I will have to keep an eye on her"
