Hi everyone, I m here with an os . It's a little SAD one. Sorry for the grammatical errors.Hope u all like it.
The dark para emphasis flashbacks
As the moonlight enters through the windows, the beautiful girl who was sleeping a while ago stirred in her sleep. Her eyes were red and puffy due to crying. When she looked around her surroundings , she realized she was in a hospital. Then she looked at the person lying in front of her on the hospital bed. He was lying down on the bed covered in a pristine white sheet. Oxygen mask attached to his mouth ...one of his arms connected to the IV and numerous other pipes were attached to him for god knows what reason...Zoya flinched at the sight of his condition. He had to go through so much pain...and she couldn't do anything about that. Only Allah knew that all she ever wanted to do at that moment was to pull those needles out of him and pierce them to herself while Asad got the benefits. Seeing him in this state, pains her heart but she cant do anything about it. Zoya walked up to the bed and sat down on a stool beside him, while taking hid hand in his and intwining her fingers with her...May it was the last time she was seeing him like this. Once again she walked down the memory lane Remincing her how she met the love of her life, her Asad
It was the first day of the college. Zoya entered through the college gate feeling a little nervous as she was a fresher and with no friends being around her , made her more nervous N her head starts covering with sweats. She slowly made her way to the notice board to check her scheduled. On her way , she bumped into a hard body n it made her fall backwards. Afraid of being hit by hard ground , she closed her eyes righting waiting for the hit. But she never got hit to the ground, instead felt herself in the arms of someone. She slowly opened her eyes. When she did, she felt beautiful chocolate brown orbs staring at her with concern written all over his face.
Are u okay? His deep husky voice but with a concern over it broked her out of the reverie. She quickly straighten herself from his arms.
Y_y_yes...I M f9..Thank u-Zoya said fumbling with the words.
Are u sure? Asad asked
Yes- Zoya said unsurely.
Both bend down to collect the books which filled due to the hit. As they bent down together, their heads got collided with each other. They both hissed in pain N then looked at each other at the same time, then burst into laughing.
BTW, I m Asad:- said Asad extending her hand for shaking.
Zoya, Zoya Farruqui :-replied Zoya; shaking his hand.
Sudden entry of the doctor broke Zoya out oof her reverie. The doctor came to check on Asad.
Will he be alright doctor? Please tell me? Asked Zoya bombarded doctor with the questions.
We can't say anything about his health now..He is in critical condition.
But, what happened to him? Asked Zoya
U don't know, he didn't tell u about his disease.
Doctor asked surprisingly .
Zoya nodded down her head...
Well I m sorry to inform u Ms Farruqui, Mr Khan is suffering from Cancer. At his last visit , I informed him that his cancer got in its last stage. He had only 5-6 months to live.
The information nearly made Zoya stumbled. She can't believe that Asad is gonna die, Her Asad.
In her broken state, she ran out of the hospital. She kept running unknown to the direction N destination. She kept running until her legs gave away. She broke down on the deserted road . As if Allah also felt her pain, the sky started crying with her.
Why Allah miyaan, why ? Zoya screamed in pain. Kyu kia aapne mere saath aisa.kyuuu . Jo insaan meri zindagi tha aapne ussi ko mujhse cheena. .kyu Allah miyaan .PHLE mujhse mere ammi-abbu cheene maine kuch nhi kha..jab mujhse mere aapi-jeeju ko cheen liya..tb bhi mene kuch nhi kaha ..phir ab Asad ko mujh se dur kyu le jaa rhe ho Allah miyaan kyu...
She cried N cried till no tears left in her eyes.
Suddenly her eyes fall on the promise ring on her hand broke her into another memory lane.
From that day , it became the beginning of the beautiful journey. ASAD-ZOYA became fast of fastest friend. Anybody could tell that they r in so much love after seeing them. But Asad N Zoya were themselves unaware about it. They nearly spending every time with each other. They were inseparable. They had theur summer flings with other people but nothing serious, at the end of the day though they both were sitting on patio with a drink in their hands and simply laughing and just talking about the people they met, the things they've done, and places they've been seen over the summer. Before we knew it , we both entered the second year.
On the first day of second year Asas picked Zoya up in his shiny silver cobalt, not his car of choice but still a car. When arriving at college every one thought that they had finally started dating, much to their dismay they told them they weren't. Time seemed to have flown by it was February and Zoya's birthday was less than 3 days away, she could practically taste the slight freedom she would soon receive. She had intended on going with Asad, that was until Zoya found a note in herlocker inscribed to her. Opening it, it read "Wear something nice tonight, I have a surprise for you. I'll pick you up at 7. -Asad"
She was confused, what was Asad up to? Rushing home Zoya got ready and began to turn her clean room into a unbelievable mess with mountains of clothing. DING DONG. Asad had arrived right when I slipped on a red sundress. She ran down stairs to greet him, he actually surprised me with how good he cleaned up.
Wow, someone is looking breathtakingly beautiful. Asad complimented. Unknowingly the compliment made Zoya blush. They both walked together to his car. He take her to one of the best Italian restaurant of the city. After dinner, Asad took Zoya to the beach . The cool breeze on the beach calmed both of them.
Zoya- his sudden voice broke Zoya out of her reverie. What she saw , shocked her to the core. There Asad was bended on his one knee holding a beautiful ring.
Asad- I know Zoya tumhe shayad yeah sab bahut Azeeb lag rha hoga. U know I do fall for u at the time when I saw u entering the college gate for the first time. I instantly fell at pull towards u. Then bumping into u , marked our friendship. I swear Zoya when my ammi-abbu died , I thought I would never felt love but u came in my life like angel, my angel.Evey time you laugh, I just felt like the most happiest person, When u cry, it made me die thousands of death, when we shared our pasts with each other, when you recited ur silly shayaris. Each N everything about u made me fall in love with u again N again. I just only wanna say I LOVE U ZOYA,
His proposal made Zoya's eyes mist with happiness. Not being able to say anything, she just nodded her head. With this Asad hugged her with all the love he felt for her.

With this the new mark in Asya's life began.
Days flew by, then weeks, months, and even years. Attending Christmas and Summer vacations with our friends who were more than happy that we were finally together, night outs into the city to get dinner, double dates with our best friends, and even voted prom king and queen by our friends senior year. Tgey were in love, blissful and beautiful love. Soon enough they were sitting together at graduation looking back on some of their best memories. The fall after they graduated they attended Virginia Tech together, still as strong a couple as they were in their second year. Things were perfect, but like every perfect moment it ends. In the middle of their third year of college Zoya noticed that Asad was loosing weight and something seemed wrong, he was becoming sick more often than usual and he was tired all the time. It was unlike him and Zoya was beginning to worry, but every time She asked him if he was okay all he said was he's fine or he has a bug. He was never a good liar, and he knew it because every time he told me he was "fine" his eyes became big and his face grew pale. In mid May they both we're in Zoya's dorm watching a movie while cuddled up on the couch when out of no where he let out a blood curdling cry of agony a sound that I will never forget. Zoya called 911 and the paramedics were there within a few minutes, as they loaded him on the gurney and took him to the ambulance Zoya was a frantic mess. She didn't know what was going on, She was scared She would loose him but She knew that She had to stay positive. She raced to her car and followed behind the ambulance until we reached the hospital. As they took him into the ER Zoya stood in the waiting room impatiently waiting to hear from the doctor.
When finally Doctor came out, I bombarded him with questions .
I M sorry, he is In critical condition.Doctor said
It just shook Zoya.
Can I meet him.asked Zoya . Doctor nodded .
Zoya went inside the room. His condition stabbed her heart. While sitting holding his hand, made Zoya sleep.
As Zoya finally got up, she realized she was not on the deserted road that she was on last time. She realized she is in hospital, on seeing Humiera in front of her, made Zoya understand that it was Humeira who bought her here
She was tired but she stood up and asked Humeira -How is Asad
Calm down Zoya! Asad just got consciousness N is asking for u. U know Zoya it's a miracle that even in the last stage of the cancer, he got survived. It's ur love that make him come back. It's ur love for Asad which even fight to the death.
With this Humeira hugged Zoya.Humeira asked Zoya to freshen up N meet Asad . But Zoya decided to meet Asad first.
She slowly made her way toward Asad's room.
As if sensing her presence, Asad slowly opened his eyes and whispered Zoya.
With stumbling steps, Zoya went near Asad N hold his hand. There was silence in the room , except their eyes which were talking.
Doc told you huh?" He chuckles.
"How can you be laughing?" Zoya say astonished.
"Zoya.."
"Don't... you knew this whole time and you... you never said anything. Not one word." Zoya felt the tears coming.
"I tried to tell you... but the face you have right now was exactly what I was scared of seeing if I told you."
"So what you were just going to wait until you were dead for me to find out?!" I couldn't hold my anger anymore.
"No! Because I wanted us to be as normal as we could! I... I don't want things to change Zoya, I don't want this to change us. I don't want the rest of what ever I have left spent in a bed just waiting for me to rot and die.Your love win Zoya" His voice was beginning to crack.
Zoya was speechless, She knew then why he didn't say anything. She was scared just like he was, and there she stood feeling like a big bag of shit.
I just hugged him N we stayed in each others embrace for quite a long time.Now no one can pull us apart , even death.
