You know that moment when you think of how it is the end and how it all sort of stops around you but your brain and heart keep going on like no, it can't stop, thinking things that you wanted to do and could and should have done and how you now feel so helpless at just being introduced to your loss, the feel obviously comes eventually, but before it sinks in, there's that numb and paralyzed feeling.

~ ^ This is somewhat what I felt reading the initial paragraphs, all thanks to you beautiful writer. (I obviously can't seem to articulate it well!)

All in all a lovely OS!
