QH:HAMMERED THE FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN

It is all a cynical exercise. RBS is not that well known. But Avi is and he has a fan-base. They are counting on those people to watch the show and increase TRP. I pity Gul. She has been shown that her arrogance does not always pay off. She was mocking the audience. The same audience that keeps her show on air. Well looks like she had to change her story in 8 weeks to get more audience. Looks like just the female lead is not enough to run the show. I remember reading comments that this show doesn't even really need a male lead and only SJ is needed. Well clearly that is not the case as without a well known male lead and without a good concept and story, the show can't run just on the basis of FL.

Avinash is a good actor. I hope he gets what he wants from the project. KSG and KVB stuck to the show for over 12 months each. Let's see if Avi is given the same opportunity. RBS only lasted 2 months. I don't know his work but I don't think he deserved this treatment. But then on GK shows especially QH, it is clear what they think of the male lead. He is there to attract the audience initially and he is strong with a good presence. Then they make him dumb and the victim of the vamp. Then they kill him and FL comes back with another male lead. Same formula. The only difference this time is that they kept the same character Mahira (coz let's face it they can't do another leap in 2 months), and pairing her with another guy. What she tried to do in IPK and failed she will do here! I don't think any of her shows will be a success after the sorry mess she made of QH!
