its a bengali festival.every year 7days before of durga puja the story of maa durga(hoe she killed mahisasur & avatars of maa durga,wht she did) is told with bhajans & sanskrit slogs,songs at 4am.it telecasted on national radios & tv also...we celebrate it.& its called 'mahalaya'..

lk ppl strt prepareing navratri 4m today...same we bengalis celebrate it tht way...
