Looks like mixture of 3 fairy tales. Sleeping beauty when mahira was turned into stone it was azaad who saved her from turning into stone. Beauty and the beast when azaad degraded himself in front of mahira so that mahira leaves as he is beast a darinda.
It now seems to be cinderella as the step sisters also ill treated her but cinderella did change even though for sometime. This season of qubool hai is about a twist in all the fairy tales.
