Season 4, Episode 2...

The Khan family (Nasser, Khan Begam, Azzad and Sister) dynamics are introduced except for Brother No.2.

Mahira makes an entrance to The Khan's House and meets her step-sisters with very unique hairstyles.

Latiff and Khala still are sidekicks of The Khan Begam, who 25 years on, still thinks of Sanam and the doomed that happened to her because of Sanam.

Yes! The episode was totally intriguing. From the start to the end, it was all sort of fabulous.

The setting is very dark, like very very dark - Like there's this impending cloud of mystery or eeriness that awaits, awaits to see the light of the day, some day. Though the eeriness prevails, there's a story brewing behind the close doors of The Khan House...

Mahira - a very innocent and adorable geeky-girl-next-door who infuses happiness into everything she breathes. Awkward but there's just something about her that's makes you smile. She got a day job as a horoscope columnist in Bhopal's local newspaper. She's sees the happy side of life. And of cos, she has a thing for jokes.. Something only she giggles at (and of cos the audience).. Poor baby.. 😆(Looking forward to more of her characterization)

And SJ, take a bow. How versatile are you!! From Zoya, Sanam, Seher, Jannat and now Mahira! Kudos to this girl who proves time and again how wonderful she can be..

Azaad- Khan Begam's Son No.1. Pretty intense, brooding guy with a very bad temper. He suffers inwardly from something that's yet to be seen. There's something hidden in his room under the carpet ( I wonder what it is) that he hits shut with hammers and nails. He loves his ammi and his sister and would stand against anything that comes against his ammi, like his father. Though he's this very angry guy, he feels and loves with his heart.. Something common in all of Gul's heros though - From Asad to Azaad.

Rajbeer Singh is a really handsome man! Well built and intense. From what I've seen, he does justice to his character and he acts well too.. Too early to comment on anything else as this is the first episode we've seen of him. But a job well done for this episode.

Nasser - Khan Begam's Husband. The Man of the House, Bold, Upfront, regretful maybe? Had his glory days as an actor named Anand Kumar. Though the days seems to have past, he's still inreminiscence of those days. Doesn't have a good impression of his wife or rather, taunts her for being too indulgent in materialistic gains and beautifying herself as a Begam rather than caring for her family. He even pulls his daughter away from her. Doesn't have a good relationship with Azaad and doesn't have a good relationship with Azaad's ammi either..

I personally liked this actor very much. The way he delivered himself, wow! He was truly amazing. And his screen presence and everything was wonderful.. Really well done and I like his character sketch. And would love to see more of him on my screen.

Khan Begam - Still sour with losing her all her power. She's still all about herself though she seems to love her kids. I guess she never ever got the love she was looking for..She still believe that black magic is the way to go for her. She pities her state though and feels helpless. She has asked Azaad to bring some blue flowers for her so that everything would be better for everyone.

Additi was really good too.. Her subdued version of the Khan Begam is different from the Nayi Sanam who indulged very much in blackmagic. Here's hoping Gul just leaves the black magic portion out for now for a long time.

Azzad's Sister - A very pretty, cute, caring daughter of the Khans. The Jaan of the family. For now, she's physically disabled. It hurts the Khans to see her this way and especially Azaad. Azaad and the sister share a very lovely bond. It's beautiful to see sibling bonds in QH.😳

This actress very very lovely and she has some really good screen presence and acts pretty well too..

Sidekicks (Khala, Lateef, Mahira's Sisters) - Mahira sister's don't really seem very pleased with the arrival of Mahira. Mahira, however loves her sisters and thinks of them like her own thought she knows they are her stepsisters. As for the sisters, they think they are working too hard whereas Mahira gets everything she needs just like that. It'll be interesting to see the equations between these two with Mahira. Khala and Lateef are still very much Begam's sidekicks though only their physical appearance have changed.

Overall, an episode worth watching on repeat.. And I'm looking forward to the next episode already. There's a good flow to the story too. Something that wasn't there for a very long time. Let's see what the upcoming episode brings! :)

hidden under the carpet? If it is Razia's Iranian carpet, then I would egg him
on to keep hammering the nails. We don't want all that was pushed under the
carpet tumbling out.</font>

bet is, her quest to regain back her powers turned horribly wrong, inflicting
her kids. Naseer knows a part but not the whole. </font>

can totally see why SJ and AG continued with s4. Both have power packed
characters - one adorably innocent and full of life, another savagely helpless
and dying for power. Love the contrast in their roles.

Yes yes yes! I don't want Mahira to have any makeover too.. I love the way she is now. Everything about her is so adorable. Like you can get into the screen and just hug her tight... 😆 And the best part is that she turns every awkward, dramatic moments into light happy moments.

Razia's Iranian carpet is QH's heirloom. It needs to be and is passed down every season cos only the carpet knows the entire story from the start to the end and has Badi Bi from Season 1 still living under the carpet. The knife being Heirloom No. 2 would probably make it's appearance later on whereas the livewire Heirloom already made it's appearance. 😆

I know right! This is the only other man I got awed after the Abbu of all Abbus. The way he carries himself and the way he commanded authority when he spoke! Just WOW! And yeah, pretty intriguing this guy. I want to know him more, see him more..

Yes.. The contrast is interesting. I think Team A did their homework well. 😆 Team B should stop meddling with QH for the time being. 😆

I completely agree..there is a flow in the story which was missing for a long time. A coherence, intrigue factor...let's hope the story lives upto the promise which the last two episodes have shown.
