So, I know where that is coming from. Readers not responding etc.

But, I'll tell you how I tackle this personally. May seem emo and senti, and philosophical, but works well for me.

I write for myself, to put my thoughts across because I love expressing myself. I don't give a damn who reads it and who doesn't. If PMs are asked, I send. I like reading comments. But, I don't really fret over them. If there aren't any comments, so be it.

I cannot change the minds of the readers, but I can change my approach towards their inaction.

I don't expect appreciation from any reader here or anywhere else. LOL.

Most importantly, by quitting on stories, writers give up on their talents, on their imagination, on their creativity. So, never quit for want of responses. 😛
