Surbhi found it extremely hard to settle down and go to sleep, every time she closed her eyes her heart would jump seeing him run towards her and then his face as he lay in the hospital bed. Surbhi picked up her phone and called Zack 'Hi' 'Surbhi...what are you doing still awake' he asked looking at the clock 'I couldn't sleep, is Asad ok?' 'Yeah, he is fine...I just left him a little while ago, will go back in the morning' 'Zack...um do you mind giving me his mobile number' 'yeah sure, I will text it to you' 'thanks...see you tomorrow'.

Surbhi opened Zack's message and saved his number in her contact, she sat there contemplating whether she should message him or not, knowing she wouldn't be able to rest until she did she started typing.

Asad managed to grab hold of his phone, as he opened the messaged his face broke out into a smile 'the human side of Surbhi Saxena' he said to himself as he hit the reply button

Surbhi read his message ad couldn't help feeling a little sad by his formal tone, placing her phone back on her side table she lay down and closed her eyes trying to get some sleep.

The next morning Surbhi came down to see Akash and Suhana at the breakfast table 'Hey...you guys are here early' 'Yeah, Zack called to say that Asad was being discharged at around 11, so we thought we could all go and pick him up' Surbhi started smiling 'that's a great idea'.

'Mum, where is Ria?' Surbhi asked looking around 'I am not sure, I think she is still in her room' Payal was about to get up to go and call for her when Surbhi stopped her 'Mum, I will get her...you stay'.

Surbhi walked into Ria's room 'Ria...you in here?' Surbhi was about to walk back out when she heard giggling come from the balcony. Surbhi walked towards it to find Ria on the phone, she was about to call out to her when she stopped upon hearing what just came out of her mouth 'I love you too...see you soon'.

Surbhi quickly retracted her steps, As Ria came in she saw Surbhi walk into her room 'Hey Suri...you ok?' Yes' she said looking at her intently 'was just wondering where you had got to...everyone is waiting at the table' 'sorry...I had to take a call' 'anyone special?' Ria looked up at her and instantly started to go red 'umm...just a friend' 'friend or boyfriend?'

Ria's eyes opened wide, Surbhi walked up to her and took her hand in hers 'you are with someone...and you never felt the need to tell me Ria...the one person who you lives with you like your shadow...why?' Ria lowered her head 'I'm sorry Suri...I really wanted to tell you...I promise you we haven't been together long, we have been friends for a long time but only got together recently...I was waiting to go on our holiday with you to tell you about him' Surbhi cupped her sisters face 'it's ok...don't look so sad, I am really happy for you...you going to tell me who it is?' 'Someone you know' she said looking a little nervous, Surbhi looked at her with curiosity 'Ria...tell me...you think I won't approve?' 'I hope you will...its Zack' Subhi's eyes widened but not with shock with pleasant surprise 'Oh my gosh...you and Zack...since when...I mean when do you two even meet...Ria...seriously' Rias started laughing and then hugged her sister 'we met at one of your parties last year and stayed in touch...and a couple of months ago things started becoming serious...Suri, I really like him...I want this to work' Surbhi cupped her sisters face 'it will work Ria, Zack is an amazing person...I am so going to kill him...he has been dating my sister and not even told me' Ria started laughing 'come on...mum is still waiting'.

Surbhi, Akash and Suhana left for the hospital. When they reached Asad's room they saw him sitting up with a nurse changing his bandage 'you will need to come in to see the doctor in a weeks' time to have this checked' 'I will do, thank you' once the nurse had finished Asad stood up to greet his friends 'you all set to go home' 'you bet...where is Zack, he has the keys to my apartment' 'He is running late, we thought you could hang out with us until he comes back' 'cool...so where we headed to?' 'Home...I mean my place, that is if you don't mind?' Surbhi said sure'.

Payal met Asad, the last time she met him she didn't get to talk to him as she was too busy trying to clean up her sick daughter 'how are you feeling now?' 'Am a lot better, thank you' 'Asad, I am really grateful for what you did' 'please Mrs Saxena, you don't have to than me' 'Aunty...you call me aunty...I have never liked being addressed formally, especially by Suri's friends' Asad smiled at her 'Aunty it is'.

Seeing that everyone was together Surbhi decided to make a party of it 'Asad, do you mind calling Zack and telling him to come here' 'yeah, one sec' Asad pulled out his phone to call Zack, after speaking to him he looked towards Surbhi 'he is on his way' 'great'.

Surbhi had arranged for everyone to sit out on the lawn, Akash made himself useful by making everyone non-alcoholic cocktails whilst the rest of them sat and enjoyed the sun.

Seeing Zack walk in Surbhi's lips curved up in a wicked smile 'Zack, finally you are here' Ria who had just taken a sip of her drink chocked as she spat it out. She looked up at Surbhi wide eyed and then turned her head around to see Zack standing there 'Ria...are you ok...Akash, what did you put in there?' Suhana asked Surbhi who was still looking at Ria was having too much fun at her little sisters expense 'yeah Ria...what happened was it the drink...or was it...' Ria narrowed her eyes at her making her laugh out loud.

Zack greeted everyone not looking at anyone in particular 'what is this Asad's get well soon party?' 'Something like that...sit' Surbhi said pointing at the vacant chair next to Ria.

Ria kept on looking at Surbhi knowing exactly what her sister was going to do 'I think I will go and get some more reading done' she said quickly standing up 'oh come on Ria...all you ever do is study...stay...what will Zack think the minute he comes you disappear...right Zack?' Zack looked at her with a perplexed expression 'huh...I mean no, not at all...but it would be nice if you stayed' 'see Ria, even he wants you to stay'.

Asad gathered that he wasn't the only one who knew about Zack and Ria, Zack had told him a few days ago. And by the way Surbhi was behaving he was sure she knew too. 'You really think it's fair to tease them like that?' he said in a low voice. Surbhi turned her head to face him 'you know?' 'Yes...Zack told me a few days ago...' 'Seeing I am the last to know...even more reason to tease them' she said winking at him.

The six of them had been sitting outside for a long time 'Zack, I think I should be getting back' Surbhi turned towards him are you ok, does your head hurt...shall I call a doctor?' 'Suri, calm down man...what's with the million questions?' Suhana said making everyone laugh 'I am fine, just a little tired...Zack can you drop me off' 'Yeah sure...lets go'.

Surbhi stood up with Zack and Asad 'Zack...can I quickly talk to you before you go' sure...is everything ok?' 'Yes it is...I won't take long' Surbhi took Zack the side 'Ria told me about you two' Zack's pupils dilated 'she did?' 'yes, she did' 'and...' Surbhi placed her hand over his arm and smiled at him 'Zack breathe...I am ok with it' Zack let out the breath he was holding and let out a sigh of relief. 'Jeez...Suri...thank you...I really wasn't sure how you would take it...we wanted to tell you...Ria was more concerned about you not approving' 'why did you guys think I wouldn't have approved, I have known you for so long Zack' 'yes I know, but it was more to do with my age, my profession, the fact that I am your friend' Surbhi narrowed her eyes 'older...exactly how much older?' 'Three years' Surbhi started laughing 'and you made it out like you were thirty years older...Zack regardless of the difference you two have you like each other right?' 'Wrong...I don't just like Ria Suri, I love her' 'then that is all that matters'.

Whislt Zack went to talk to Ria Asad came and stood by Surbhi 'thank you...I mean for all this...it was nice' 'Can we make a deal?' 'What kind of a deal?' 'The one that says you can't say sorry and you can't say thank you' Asad started to chuckle 'I think I can go with that...deal it is' he said holding out his hand, Surbhi took his hand into hers and shook it 'you resuming shooting?' 'Yes, I will be tomorrow...but you my friend are off limits, Zack and Mr Khanna have strictly said that you are to take at least a week off' Asad raised his eyebrow 'seriously a week...you can keep me away for two days maximum...umm Suri I am glad you are ok with Zack and Ria' 'she is my sister, her happiness is paramount, and if her happiness is with him then I am happy too'.

Asad and Surbhi's conversation was cut short as they heard Suhana screaming and jumping at the same time. Asad pulled a face at her 'that is just Suhana who acts like that...right...it's not a girl thing or anything like that' Surbhi shook her head as she tried to control her laghter 'trust me...it's just Suhana, am guessing Ria and Zack have told her...that leaves mum' 'will she be ok?' 'Definitely...she is always more worried about me' 'really? Why is that?' Asad asked surprised 'because of who I am and what I do...you should know how quickly everyone is to link co-stars together, make a mountain out of a molehill. In this industry you can't speak to anyone without being scrutinised...luckily up until now I have managed to escape the press and allegations' 'does that mean you will always keep yourself away?' 'Away from?' 'Love...companionship...whatever it is that you guys call it' Surbhi started smiling 'Yes...for as long as I can...how about you?' 'When it comes to the world of love and whatever...nah...I don't see myself like that...I am happy...single and free' 'you have never had a girlfriend 'nope...never felt the need for one...nor have I come across anyone I could call my girlfriend'

What Surbhi and Asad didn't know was that as much as they lived life as what they thought best fit them their fate and destiny was being written somewhere far, it was being Written in the Stars.

Mr Khanna and Zack had managed to keep Asad away for a week before he returned to work; with the last couple of scenes left to film everyone was working double time. Asad wasn't really needed as the music was one area that had been completed.

After the team had wrapped up shooting Surbhi diary started to fill up with post production arrangements, she was blocked in for a week for dubbing and then the music launch. The films promotion was going to hit the floors and continue until September as the film was going to be a big Diwali release, which meant she had at least a month off in between, a month that she planned to spend with her sister and mum.

With Zack and Ria's relationship being out in the open Surbhi saw a lot more of Zack, he had really fitted in well with Payal and Surbhi, it almost felt like had always been a part of the family. 'Where are you two off to?' Surbhi asked as she saw Zack and Ria walk out as she walked in 'We are going to the Crystal Lounge...meeting up with a few friends...you want to come?' Ria asked 'no...you guys go ahead, I think I will have a quiet night in for a change' 'okies...see you later' as the two of them walked of chatting Surbhi stopped, she had just heard Ria mention Asad 'Ria...one sec...who else is coming?' she asked casually, Ria mentioned a few of her friends names 'Oh and Zack invited Asad and Akash too...come it will be fun' 'ok...seeing you guys will all be together count me in, I will meet you there'.

Surbhi got ready, she put on a beautiful knee length Channel dress with silver sparkling Jimmy Choo shoes and a single diamond pendant, she wore her hair down with lose curls. Touching up her lip gloss she gave herself on last look over before she left. The Crystal Lounge was no ordinary club, it was one for the elite, all of Mumbai's young, rich and famous filled it with their presence, it was a member's only club that prided itself with the unique experiences it offered.

Surbhi stepped out of her car and walked towards the entrance 'good evening ma'am, it's good to see you again' the door man said greeting her politely 'you too Tony...how have you been?' 'Very well...thank you for asking...please' he said opening the door making way for her to walk in.

Surbhi walked in to a very loud and packed out club, she looked around to see if she could see Ria or Zack but there was no sign of them. All of a sudden she felt someone stand close behind her 'looking for anyone in particular' Surbhi started smiling having recognised his voice 'hmm I don't know...should I be?' Surbhi turned around and started laughing as did Asad. 'It's good to see you, how have you been?' 'ok, you know what it's like life doesn't seem to stop or take a break' 'I am glad you made it...you look beautiful' Asad said leaning in trying to get his voice to carry over the banging music. Surbhi looked at him giving him a shy smile 'thank you...for someone who lives in jeans you don't look bad yourself' Asad started laughing 'I have you know these are my best jeans' Surbhi raised an eyebrow 'I think we need to go on a shopping spree' 'you serious...shopping and me' 'yes you...come one lets go and find Ria and co'.

Akash went to get the next round of drinks 'you want to dance?' Ria said looking towards Zack 'sure, why not' As the two of them made their way to the dance floor Asad shuffled up closer to Surbhi 'So when are we going out on our date' Surbhi looked at him as she started to cough 'date?' 'Yes...shopping remember?' 'oh...shopping, whenever you wish...I am free for most part of the month' 'what?' Asad asked seeing her facial expression change 'nothing' 'no tell me...something is going on in there' he said pointing to her head.

If Surbhi was honest she didn't really understand what just happened, all of a sudden she felt heavy hearted, forcing a smile she looked at him "I am fine...honestly...you want to join those two on the dance floor' Asad looked at her 'I don't think so...I make music I don't dance, that part I leave up to you guys' 'oh come on...it's just a bit of fun...come' she said holding her hand out to him. Asad took her hand and let her lead him to the middle of the dance floor.

As the next track came on Surbhi started to really move, Asad who had always been impressed with her dancing skill followed her every step. Surbhi grabbed onto his hand and twirled in and out of his hold. Slowly Asad started to loosen up and danced with her. Ria and Zack stopped as they saw them dance, the way they moved around each other was in total sync as if they could read each other's minds. Surbhi and Asad complimented one another entirely; they physiques, good looks, their charms and personalities seemed to merge as one.

'Did they practice that?' Zack asked looking at them set fire on the dance floor. Like Zack and Ria others who danced started to stop and stand back to see them go, it didn't take long for their audience to start chanting out her name. Surbhi and Asad looked at each other totally oblivious to what was happening around them; Surbhi twirled around and around Asad and finished off by jumping into his arms. Surbhi kept her eyes locked with Asad's as he slowly let her slid down.

The loud screaming and cheering forced them to break away, Zack ran up to Asad as Ria ran up to Surbhi 'Man...where the hell did you learn how to swing like that...you guys were awesome' Surbhi continued to look at Asad as Ria continued to compliment her too.

Realising she hadn't heard a word she said Ria followed Surbhi's eyes and found her staring at Asad. 'Suri...Suri' she called out again holding on to her arm. Surbhi came out of her reverie and turned to look at her 'sorry...I mean thank you...I think I need a drink now come'. As Ria and Surbhi walked past him his eyes followed her, his heart that was bouncing already from the dance started beating a little faster, something moved inside him but he wasn't sure what.

It was almost two in the morning, Zack and Asad walked the two girls back to their car. 'For someone who only makes music you dance like a pro' Asad started laughing 'thank you...being around one of the best dancers in Bollywood, I think I managed to keep up' 'yes you did' As the two of the continued to talk Ria said goodbye to Zack 'Can I see you tomorrow...there is something I want to talk to you about' Zack held the top of her arms 'anything serious?' 'No...just something that came to mind that I wanted to discuss...' Zack lowered his head and softly kissed Ria on the lips, Surbhi and Asad quickly turned around giving them a little privacy.

Ria walked up to Surbhi and Asad 'I am ready to go' she said still on a high from her night out 'good night...I will see you soon' Asad said, Ria lifted her arms and put them around Asad giving him a big loving hug. Asad smiled at her and tapped the tip of her nose as she pulled back 'be good...bye Suri' Asad said giving her a faint smile 'bye'.
