A Sanam-centric episode. Quite well done.

You'll start off feeling

then you'll feel

then at the end you'll feel..

Poor Sanam...

She's having a tough time in her head right now.

Muslims have a special prayer , called the Istikhara prayer, done in earnest intention and honesty in times of confusion and need of guidance, gives one a conviction and courage to make a choice.

But here it is depicted that her dua after the Qur'an kani, Sanam is shown in her mind, who her true companion is. She reaches out for Shaad (even in her subconscious, that's disturbing) but it is Aahil that turns to her.

Most people take this as a sign. But not our Sanam. She fights it. Sanam has always had a strong mind, determined. But here its failing her. Because of a lie.

She rejects the idea. Stubbornly, she moves to take a shell-shocked Shaad's hand. <That was the time to set the truth straight, Shaad. Couldn't you see how she was suffering in her mind??>

Aahil is also silent, walks away.

Later, she has a dream. She sees Shaad walking up to her, smiling, sexy, sits next to her... and softly asks, Do you love me?

She can't answer. She swallows and blinks. It just won't come out.

Then suddenly Aahil is there also. On her other side, sexily leaning on his pillow, smiling an intimate smile, Do you love me?

<I felt a little horror for her right then. Poor thing is suffering in her head. She couldn't remember anything, convinced herself in Pakistan to love her husband, Shaad. Now she is confronted by vague returning memories of another man. And its torturing her !! That situation was awful, both men lying in bed with her , asking her that question.

She truly doesn't know. All she knows is, she is not sure of anything.

This really pissed me off. Why are these men torturing her like this? Holding the truth back from her, when she is so conflicted like this?! Both men claim to love her deeply, but both cannot see the strife in her mind. Shame. >

She leaves everything in Allah's hands. Whatever happens, I leave it in your hands. You know what's best for me...

Then at the mehndi ceremony, the artist writes Aahil's name. Not because she had dejavu, but because she was trying to call Aahil , to stick a hot poker right through his heart.

"I request you to please get Shaad ready for our wedding..."

<So tortured, yet she has time to stab Aahil right through the heart... This reminded me of Aahil and Nida's mehndi ceremony. Sanam got Aahil's bride's menhdi on her hand entirely by accident, when it fell off the upstairs landing. Now she gets Aahil's name on her palm entirely accidental.>

She is horrified. She tries scrubbing his name off, but it is stuck.

Another sign for Sanam. She falls down and cries helplessly, bemoaning her Fate. The more I strengthen myself against all this, the weaker I am. Why does Aahil feel like my own? Then Shaad? He's my husband!! I am remarrying him?! Why does this feel wrong !!"

<I shed a tear for poor Sanam. The Sanam, daughter of Asad and Zoya, sister of Seher and Haya, proud and independent granddaughter of Dilshaad. The one who has had the most to suffer since falling in love. Now she feels her true love Aahil, and i suspect is partially in love (by conviction) with Shaad.

How will she survive this??

I feel like giving Sanam a big hug and a shoulder, and shoo-ing these terrible boys away from her.>

Beautiful Post. But I don't feel bad for Sanam errr I mean Jannat at All! Oh yes I didn't watch the episode nor I intend to! Except I just watched that dream sequence to drool on Aahil😆. And it was so damn funny but Aahil was looking hot🤣😳 Anyways even if I would have watched Jannat's tears I would not have still feel bad for her! This woman is just crazy and good for nothing! She is just...forget it!
And Aahil I hate him! But not as much as I hate Jannat. Aahil is a coward fool but he doesn't deserves Jannat the annoying woman🥱 He deserves Sanam or else no one.
Jannat actually deserves her fictional prince Shaad not Aahil .
Sorry For my Bakwas but its completely my opinion😆 and I don't regret!

Ani,
The episode was done OKish. And OK is not enough at this stage.
Disliked both the guys lying in her bed...it looked comical to me. If they wanted to establish Jannat as a character on her own, they should have spent more time on her character development, and less on her meanness and weakness, IMO.

To be very honest...
The bout of laughter that erupted from my Living Room at the precap : Made me feel insulted...by the Makers. And I felt I deserved just this.👍🏼😊

<So tortured, yet she has time to stab Aahil right through the heart...

I am here, until she kills Ahil. After that she can continue with her journey- I am off.😳

It is a pity that I cannot feel Sanam's pain any more. I wonder if the TRP audience has not got awfully tired. I walked off when the SK scene came- What was that?🥱 Good winning over evil? 😲 😃 👏

And Naziya crying on her mehendi...🥱 ..How stupid can a woman get!

Sanam's tears dropping on Ahil's name- sent a shudder through my spine. Is she trying to wash off his name with her tears, or is it the tears made the colour come out all the more well?

I think that SR song is the last nail in Sanam's coffin for me. I can only connect with her through Ahil after that. And somewhere down the line, they will make me lose the connect with him too, to glorify Sanam...So...

Two weeks.

I don't see the writing improving. If they could at leastconcentrate on the triangle and let go of the black magic and espionage and revenge...

Have a good day, dear. 🤗

Thanks for the recap! As always, it's fun to read your view of the episode.

As I watch Jannat . . . It's the inconsistency that's annoying. She's conflicted (SJ does a great job here), but has enough presence of mind to hurt Aahil. She must know it will hurt him because he has honest feelings for her, otherwise why ask a near stranger to dress her groom for her? 😡 She says she'll leave it in Allah tallah's hands, but then straightaway goes against what was shown to her. And amnesia doesn't change your character the way it completely did hers. I'm trying to remember, but weren't all of SaHil's intimate/comforting scenes in the privacy of their bedroom? Additionally, in her fight to be faithful, she has become totally selfish and blind to everything this supposed stranger is doing for her and she takes it as her due.

Despite my annoyance with/dislike of Shaad, I still kind of get Aahil in remaining silent. Don't hate me! Despite the fact that remaining silent is clearly not in character and something the CVs decided Aahli must do, I see how KVB is playing it.

This character, who has never been loved for himself, as we have seen over and over again, was truly loved by one woman. Sanam. And he raised her on this high pedestal, and each time she supposedly fell he was deeply hurt. Now that one person in the world has forgotten their history together, and repeatedly chooses another man. So that love-starved boy inside of him is probably wondering how honest was her love in the first place? Why doesn't her heart choose him, even if she forgot. He wants that sacrifice. Those constant rejections make him think maybe she should just get married again. So, yes, kind of have sympathy for him.

BUT it still doesn't take away from what they are both doing to her! As you can see, I'm conflicted. 😆 Shaad has no reason to remain silent. And as for Aahil . . .

Can we just have Aahil break his silence, reveal that she is his wife and give her the honest choice of divorcing him and marrying Shaad. And of course make a da*n good job of it, so she can't pretend the truth is just a lie he's perpetuating to seduce her. Then let her CHOOSE! He's like a little boy who's afraid of the answer/her choice, so will rather let things go on indefinitely rather than get one finite answer.

You are entitled to your opinion Nafs..

I felt awful watching two men in men looking at her like that. I didn't thinkl both men looked good, despite how the cameraman tries to tint his frame. The scene was too distasteful for me.

more than the supposed mental state, but the notion that Sanam was attracted to BOTH men.

Also that she feels she has no choice. She is not so majboori that she cannot ask questions about her state. Why not DEMAND that Shaad bring her family to this nikah??

Why is one man making her go through wedding rituals, and the other asking her not to go through with it?

This whole premise is ridiculous. And not fun at all.

SaHil fans are to be tortured.
And Shajan fans are to enjoy the wedding?

I dare say, turn Aahil back into the bad guy, who cares for no one but his sister. Kick Shaad and his "biwi" out, serve her divorce papers so she can go do whatever she wants.

Because what she is doing is BIGAMY. Which man who loves his wife will allow this?

I know, hence the groom switch. BORING.

Then why have the wedding at all? Neither bride is happy.

had to watch the precap separately... both men say Qubool Hai??

I know what you mean. She is supposedly being conflicted about Aahil, but she doesn't display the attraction for Aahil at all.

it looks like Sanam wants to be with Shaad, but she is forced to be with Aahil because she is already married to him.

Not because she loves him dearly or feels something for him. Her meanness is too poisonous, she doesn't respond to the pain in his eyes. I can see SJ is trying hard, she even toned down the pitch and speaks sedately (everyone called her screechy so much)

I guess what I'm saying is, SaHil is disconnected. I mean the bluetooth between them is not even switched on. You can't just have them connect in a song and then go back to frosty ice and heart stabs.

She doesn't look attracted to Aahil at all.

Did she ever love him? I might not think so if I were a new viewer of the 7.30 time slot.

She should be conflicted about Aahil because she LOVES him, empathises with his pain, here she just punishes him over and over.

All I can see is Soup, it's building up to a crescendo, drama factor is going up, and up and events happening are more hair raising the other. It has to get somewhere, right?

Where?

SOmeone dying? Or her memory returning?

What if Aahil sends her off with Shaad, he retreats back into original Jalladh Jinn... alcohol and women. And she returns to hate. Rinse and repeat.

P/s: Why does Shaad keep having this helpless bechara face on anyway?? "Allah , yeh kya hua? face? Do something !!

Who is the sole reason for Sanam's state? No doubt, it is Shaad. She was clearly saying why she is so helpless - Shaad is her husband and she is remarrying him. Per SBS segments, Shaad will record her breakdown in his phone. I want to watch tomorrow's episode to see what's Shaad's take on this? Will they show Shad coming to know that Sanam never read the confession letter that Shad gave? or Giving the letter to Janant is to just to hide Shaad's actions from CV's or who knows CV's viewers might have forgotten that scene. Whatever!

Aahil and Shaad's ideas are so stupid. If she thinks she is married to someone, irrespective of what heart says, she is will not choose love. Married women don't do that.

I didn't feel for Jannat. I felt really weird seeing both men lying in her bed. I am losing interest..I can't connect with Sahil anymore especially after I came to know their situation is going to be the same after Nikakh.

I agree with Soup...Janant seducing Shaad after getting married to Aahil twice, that is the last nail in the coffin to the SaHil's story. I am watching this serial out of habit. But I don't feel the same enthusiasm when I watch qubool hai. If the story continues like this, I am sure I will quit one day.

@bold red..
👏👏

Beautifully put. Aahil is dealing with his insecurity when it comes to love. He never thought he deserved her. He called her , Allah's gift (pak tofa) to him. And he had hurt her terribly. And after he realized his mistake, he was so greedy for her love that every moment with her had to be savoured. Then she was gone.

To see her happy with another man, is like walking around with an arrow stuck in his chest. Pull it out and bleed to death, or deal with the pain. If she were the one who pulled the arrow out... relieved the pain, he'd even die happy. 😭

Which is why all this is annoyingly stupid. Both men can just sit her down and talk to her.

See, when SHaad wrote that letter, he told her he didn't know her before that riot in Uch Sharif.

WHy didn't he think it weird that she never asked of her real name? Or tell him to take her back to Uch Sharif, in case her family was looking for her there?

She didn't react to his letter at all, and he didn't think it weird??

Now, he has even defeated SK's entire network of terrorists (convenient) . So now, SK's aim is just to Kill Aahil and add Shaad to the mix. (*headdesk*)

All this, so we can have Sanam2 and her plots ..yuck.

But seriously, you paragraph on Aahil...👍🏼

Thanks for the update Sage..Nowdays im only come here to to read ur post.😊
I agree, right now i think sanam doesnt feel like she have feeling or love Aahil at all.Her actions dos not convincing at all whether she really was in dilemma she was in love and feel something to aahil than Shaad. The connection for Aahil is not convincing me.It like she have feeling for both man and more to Shaad not Aahil.Just like u n the others said she not feeling his pain at all.

Not try to compare but when sanam comback after aahil was married to Sanam2,how him make her as servant, how he treat her..i can feel the pain in aahil eyes when saw his sanam. How he try to make Sanam jealous and hurt when he try to come close to Sanam2 we still can see how he feeling when doing all that to sanam.Whatever he do try to hurt her feeling, insult her or everything but still i can feel the pain of him. the love for his Sanam.
Here Jannat seem doesnt reconize Aahil at all.Even her heart feel something she try to brush away that feeling. The way she keep talk bad and harsh towards him,the unpleasant facial expressions when she saw him Its hurt to see that and very disturbing.
Sorry for the bad eng.Very limited voca here..hehee😊
