Hmm i understand F-32.

There's a huge gap between the Shaad you conceived in your head and the one that is delivered to the audience and the gap is too big to be explained away by "All is fair in love and war". No it is not.

All this cute letter writing and poetry reciting only makes him more creepy and cowardly.

Get your writers to give him some monologues to show his dilemma ,guilt and fear of his victim's past catching up with him.And stop compromising other characters to make him shine.

Ahil is ruined and he is a wimp and Sanam is ruined and she is a wanton now. There is nothing nice in this show any more, as you keep ruining other characters to accommodate this weasel.

KK,
I don't think F32 has any idea what happens in the show actually...I swear. 😆

There are two ways to look at Shaad, according to them...and I totally get both of the POvs...It is like Rashid of Season One...There was no way to explain Dilshad going back to him...but there was also a way...these are the grey areas of QH...and I have always accepted it. But this time around, the execution is so off...so tacky.

As for the regressive and sexist audience...I don't know if this is how the audience watches the show...But for me...

It is the mothering instincts in a woman, probably.

I sympathised with Sanam at the end of Season 2...

From the beginning of Season 3, I have sympathised with Ahil. That is because they have not focussed on Sanam's plight at all through the narrative...apart from her helplessness and misguided belief...and supposed enchantment with Shaad- where she spent some happy moments in her life as against an Ahil who was being tortured ... the narrative does not highlight it that she is exploited- because she never suffered.....though it comes through like that to me when I cringe through the Shaajan scenes as Jannat blindly reciprocates the affection🤢 that is shown to her...

For me, therein lies the biggest mistake. If they have not cared to show Sanam as the one who deserves justice, they should have toned down Shaad...made him a gentleman who made attempts to reconcile her with her family...who didn't know she loved someone madly...This is what the Shaad fans expected, I guess. I have no idea what they have gained by making him go all the way and then constantly white washing him...unless all this whitewash is to be washed off in a future track...Shaad definitely has the potential..So may be he just would...😊

What is in blue and your last para Soup...For how long have we been saying this in how many different ways from the very beginning...
And no I don't belive Shaad fans ever expected anything from Shaad the character other than that it mess up SaHil. Most of them had accepted that SaHil is end game but just wanted the so called 'cute' scenes of Shajan for as long as or till the very end of the season when Sahil is reunited.
I guess they fit the mechanical audience you mentioned perfectly...and that's the audience these arrogant cvs are catering for.

And I don't believe Shaad the character has any potential left...just his mere presence infuriates me now because they have shoved him in our faces and down our throats for far too long...
The only good thing they can do would be to have him go back to Pakistan or whatever...
And please spare me the heropanthy with SK...Its hilarious to see SK tout the bravery of this incompetent officer like minnie says.

As a matter of fact, I don't think even Gul watches the show.😆 The writers write between themselves- The actors act it at different sets- There are different directors and Assistants who take the shot...Do any of them know how disjointed the show actually looks on the screen?😃

very apt question..😆

Oh and by the way F32, WHO THE HELL writes a letter to a woman you have been conning for months to live as your freaking wife in front of all and sundry to confess the con? and that too with zero sense of regret or remorse unless you are a delusional sociopath...
You give us a narcissistic, delusional character who fits a sociopath to a T and expect us to believe he is in 'love'.????
"Alls fair in love and war"...REALLY? like effing REALLY...????

Forum 32 your article is hilarious! So Shaad knows he is doing wrong? Really? Since when? Was he even a little bit concerned with right and wrong when he selfishly closed off her missing person's file so she cannot be found by anyone looking for her? He loves her? Wow! This must be a new definition of love! Does he even know her? Does he even care who she is? He knew jolly well she had a man in her life! Maybe even a husband. How does he know she doesn't have a child? So what she deserves is to live as HIS creation Jannat? She doesn't deserve her basic rights of knowing who SHE really is? How insulting! But I guess you think it's romantic? How convenient that he only wrote the letter AFTER she agreed to "re-marry" him? When they were never married at all? Lol. What a gallant gentlemen!

Shaad has lied to and fooled this women for months. Continued to get close to her and use his 'fake status' as her husband to touch her and get in her personal space. Something she would NEVER allow a stranger. He used her deluded state to his own benefit and ONE lousy letter is supposed to 'Excuse' him for all these immoral and pretty much criminal things he did, by conning an amnesia victim? Superb logic Forum 32. In your world, people who commit crimes against others will just write letters and go Scott free!

No matter how much you try to white wash Shaad, there is not enough bleach in the world to make him look good now! So stop insulting our intelligence by trying. Stop catering to a few people who decided to get behind him, regardless of his questionable actions. They are the minority. The majority do not like what he has done and never will! You DECIDE who you are making this show for. The TRP audience has clearly shown that they do not see Shaad in the way you are 'forcing' them to! They are not buying it! You have taken him too far for that now. Just trying to pin ALL the blame on the resident evil Sanam2 won't work!

The worst part here is that for THIS character, who is pretty much 3 months old, you have compromised the integrity of the leads! You turned Sanam into this vapid women, vacant and brainless. Keep screeching 'Shaad Shaad' all day. Starting from Pak track to now! She hangs off him, and now even wants him to sleep in her bed! She is just intolerable, all thanks to Shaad! You have turned Aahil into a 'Bechara husband' who won't react to a man who is fooling his wife into thinking she is married to him! ALL coz you want to keep showing Shaad as a misguided Majnu type!

If you had not RUINED Aahil and Sanam to glorify and justify this character, maybe we would have been able to tolerate him! But not now. It's your own fault we can't stand him, and most of us have tuned out because we can't watch him with Sanam anymore and how he is NEVER punished for the things he has done to date! So decide! Do you want to keep washing Shaad and shoving him down our throats, so we tune out, or do you want your audience back? Coz you can't have both! As clearly indicated by the TRP; Shaad, his endless PDA with Jannat, and your freak triangle does not have enough takers! So decide soon, coz the audience is clearly deciding and before you know it, channel will decide for you! Probably by ending this show!

Thanks for the post KK!

CVs if you haven't already got it loud and clear after all this time (4 months and counting to be specific) I hope this one and the others on this post makes it clear enough.😡

Yeah. We are delusional because we cannot stand the fantasy of a woman not wanting to probe deeper into her past, but would rather swallow every story she is fed, turn blind to her INSTINCTS and still be whiningly clinging on to a man who has been misleading her slowly and surely.🥱😆 Can't we see the fantasy in her inviting him to sleep with her?😲🤪

Yes, some of us do get the dramatic quotient this situation has brought Sahil to...forget the rest for a while and enjoy Ahil...But we thought QH was not about just one character.😃

Do they get us?

No. Never.😳

This thought provoking post (not bashing Mind you, realize the difference), should spell it out loud and clear to the writers.

That their efforts to maintain that Major Shaad is a good guy has failed miserably. Not only has he lied to her, he has made up EVEN MORE lies to encourage the first lie. And that too before he realized he loved her. .. fluffing pillows and all.

Shaad is not a good guy. Get it?

Not all army guys are good guys. So you can safely stop wasting yours and our time in trying to convince us he is good.

He is also selfish. Not ONCE has he cared enough for Jannat as a person. What about her restlessness to know her past? Her need for family? All these dejavu moments she is dismissing because you rubbish them?

No he's made himself the most important thing in her life. He hasn't helped her find her own self, just pasted cellophane tape over her to hold her together.

The romance was hinted at from the point they met! Having religious/Divine intimations that she was meant to meet and have a relationship with Shaad at Uch Sharif.

Then have her follow him around like a lost lamb, so he wouldn't be blamed for being forced to take her home because she would be lost and alone if he didn't. He HAD to help her, if not she wouldve been lost and in danger.

Right?

Okay, say I give you the benefit of the doubt. Jannat is a traumatized ill person who has a phobia whom he's protecting. .

Let's say he then fell in love and wanted to have her for real. So he orchestrates a repeat marriage so he can actually be her husband.

The romance bit didn't work. The poet didn't emote enough love and romance for us to buy that he actually loves his captive (yes, effectively she is). It just looks like it is convenient for him to just keep her, rather than find her real family.

Stop trying to make him look good. It's not working!!

That hospital scene with the danger sense tingling? 👎🏼
He looked like terminator wanting to complete his mission!

Why don't you just show him as the obsessed man he is, and make him emotionally blackmail Jannat into staying with him?

Putting the blame on Sanam2 (although she is the starter of all this catastrophe ) isn't going to win any sympathy for Shaad!

Make Aahil and Shaad come face to face in a straight up fight (not necessarily punching, but a sizing up of adversaries) and let Jannat decide.

I think people who write these articles, this one & the previous one about Lateef's "unconditional love" and loyalty and Shaad being a nice confused guy don't watch the show and have never watched this show.

I doubt even the actors ever watch this show .

I watched y'day's episode and didn't find anything funny. KV needs to hit the gym fast if they think of making him run around half-naked for TRPs in the coming episodes.

The only way Shaad can be redeemed is by dying ,the sooner the better. And I hope he tells the truth to the vacuous woman high on hormone before disappearing.
