Yuck.
Yuck was most of yesterday's episode.
Yuck was Sanam2 allowed to wheedle, insinuate, and snidely manipulate the situation to her fancy.
That dance ?
Not talking about dancing skills or choreography (because that would be mean and unfair..đ).
But watching Mayor sahiba dance around Shaad (!!?) , and Sanam2 around Aahil ; and Sanam between Shaad and Aahil; the scene was so contrived that the irony they were trying to show was lost.
Then they were eating together and Shaad asked for some salt.
<Owh... food too bland for you Shaad? >
But the waiter didn't know where to find salt, and immediately Jannat gave the GPS location of the salt in the kitchen. Everyone was stunned as to her knowledge, but Aahil smiles.
Then everyone moves on without blinking.
But Sanam2 gets worried. She tries to cast a spell of doubt in Shaad's head over Aahil's intentions over Jannat. Calling him a known playboy, who might be on Jannat. Shaad tells her off for speaking so crudely of her own husband.
She tries to insinuate to Shaad to quickly make his intentions clear to Jannat, and tie her permanently to himself. Shaad has a heartburn moment.
If he were to propose, he has to tell her the truth first. At least he has one noble thought when it comes to Jannat. He walks away from Sanam2's whisperings of mischief.
So she decides to take matters into her own hands.
She contrives a musical pass the announcement game (so ridiculous, I tell you.) and plans for it to stop at Aahil's hand.
And he reads out (very willingly, like lamb to slaughter) the announcement of Shaad and Jannat's renewal of vows, on the same day as Nazia and Saif's nikah.
<Who told him to read the thing out then? He could've just prevaricated and made up something !! WHy Aahil !! Why are you such a pushover !!!>
Shaad looks uneasy and shocked. Jannat looks surprised.
And I'm aiming my remote at the TV screen.
