Gul's shows boast of a fantastic cast on paper, and initially gripping storylines with loads of romance at first. 😃

But everything goes down the drain a couple of months later, when the makers try to experiment with crazy ideas and twisted plots, even though the show's already quite established. That's when the show starts to lose its plot and even the sparse romantic parts don't quite feel the same as before.

And that's when you know that all that investment of time and emotions has been utterly WASTED.

I've been following QH since it's inception and it's been a crazy two and a half years, both on the show and off it. 😆 I'm watching QH only for SaHil now. 😳

I hated how Gul dealt wid traumatized n molested victims like Zoya en Akram kidnapped her n Asad wen Billi molested him. They showed Zoya acting like a clown on d very next day n Asad being normal as if nothing happened. In a recent show where d couple is ur dp, d heroine is shown going thru a lot of trauma due to kidnapping n mild molestation. But Gul takes everything lightly in her show n uses even d serious recent news.During Nirbhaya case, she showed Akram thing in QH where he kidnapped Zoya n in SG she showed d male lead being stabbed n in critical condition while saving a friend 4m getn raped by some rowdies.

I did not watched Humsafars but its story was stupid n undigestable. No matter why Harshad backed out 4m Ishaqbaaz. In QH, female villains r shown independent like fashion designer, Begum or Mayor while female leads r not allowed to have their own identity. In an article, an actress Niti Taylor said dat she wish in future shows r made where heroies r not limited to luk after d house, marriage not being everything n they 4 independent. They never showed a girl like Zoya working. Wen Sanam was independent she made d hero Ahil burn her livelihood to create so called passionate scene n twist in d story. She is obsessed wid showing women only working under hero n getn degraded which is wat she did wid Sanam.
