That's how Jinnat /SJ acts & it would have been justified.

i won't blame the CVs alone for this Nafs. A good actor can bring their own interpretation & nuances & sadly, that's not seen in Sj's portrayal of Jannat.

S2 is a slippery character too.First, i thought she would be the Shireen of this season & see what she is now and how beautifully Additi transitioned into that.

Jannat has been written poorly. Its not SJ's fault. When she can play 3 roles with so much ease, can't she play the 4th character too? I agree she goes OTT at times but which actor dosen't, if his/her character goes on changing? Even KV used to do OTT during initial days of Aahil, but now he does it with perfection. And Qubool Hai is only on air coz of SJ.

No normal man acts the way he has acted. Jannat is just there to "enable" his actions. They change her character as and when they want to justify Shaad at any given time. I honestly find Shaad and Jannat scenes hard to stomach. The lies just put me off totally!

As for Jannat's characterization? She was unreal from day 1. Totally off putting. I found her screechy and OTT. She acted desperate and clingy most of the time and the rest just snooping into other people's business and challenging terrorists with lines like "Army officer husband!" She looked like a shadow of her old self living through the identity of a man! What an insult to Sanam who was always so independent! The most disappointing F/L of QH.

SJ got good roles in Zoya, Sanam and Seher. (even though they didn't develop Seher enough). But Jannat is by far the worst written and executed character she has been given, and we can see even she is struggling to do justice to it, coz how can she when what she has to work with is so poorly written?

If she had been the dignified Sanam, he wouldn't be crossing the boundaries, lies or no lies.

That would just mean ignoring, not addressing the situation.

I'm not saying for them to have PDA--but the situation remains the same PDA or no PDA.

I agree she is throughly irritating, Sometimes I feel like giving her two tight slaps. I will blame CVs for the poor written character, it is not a well sketched character, really badly written, nothing is convincing, they should understand, its Sanam who lost her memory, they need not have completely different new character, wonder who thought of this name too, sorry but terrible choice for Sanam so right from name it is annoying, nothing is convincing, the whole plot, where she thinks Shaad is her husband, I mean how it is possible? any sane person will not go with a stranger, even when you do not remember anything, you will be more careful, the whole character sketch is flawed. and to some extent SJ too, I mean I get a feeling she is not interested in playing that character, because she is also not fully convinced with the sketch. It is possible when you do not agree fully, you can not bring out the best, that does not mean she is not a good actress, but its just that she can give full justice to this role, when she herself do not believe in it.. Just my POV, I just do not agree with the whole PDA, its not possible when you do not remember anything. its just not real.. I really hope Sanam gets her memory back soon, I can not stand this "Jannat" 🤢😕
