Technical Tuesday | Qubool Hai | Vertigo Effect
Technical Tuesday | Qubool Hai | Vertigo Effect
Technical Tuesday is where we give you examples from the show to showcase different technical aspects of filming and creating a show. Today in the Technical Tuesday, we bring you Vertigo effect. This is done with a trolley mounted camera, of course it can be done with a tripod however the smoothness is not guaranteed. The trolley then moves backwards or forwards and the subject in focus is zoomed out or zoomed in with the movement to keep static. This will then create the effect of the background moving while the subject is static. The opposite movement of the trolley vis-a-vis zoom is what creates the effect.

We have brought you a video specially created for this with Amrapali Gupta as the subject who plays Mizbah aka Shashi Kapoor in the show Qubool Hai. The director Parkhi and Cameraman Komal helped us to give a shot that we could capture for you all. We do apologise that it is not perfect as we had requested them for the same post their shot was over.
Here is a video from YouTube that showcases the Vertigo Effect beautifully. Yes, we shall get something for you all from our own stable.
