And even bigger shout out to the last three-four episode including Monday's.

As a whole, from the Gudiya Factory onwards QH has been consistently well executed. And even better executed have been the last three episodes, which paved the way for Season 3, and started Season 3.

Gudiya Factory week --ii.e. Tanveer's death--sure there were some jinks and kinks in how it all tied in together at the end (Nawab, a few shoddy explanations), but it was beautifully directed and shot.

I think if you look at the past three episodes as start of S3 or lead into S3, they are far better than how Season 2 started. And on a whole, we got two plus weeks of very good to great execution. Season Two had good to great execution many times, but never this good and this consistent.

Let's see how long it lasts. Two things will factor in. 1) weekly TRPs and scramble to change/adjust. 2) Starting a new show, attention and resources diverted away.

Looking forward to the new season. It has me pretty hooked.

I hope this tight execution for the coming weeks, and I am most curious to see the results come May.

She escaped the truck while Sanam got in to look for her. Neither saw each other. The drivers realized Seher got out and it's the twin in the truck. They go to look for her and chase after her. Seher seemingly got hit by a truck while running away from them. Well not seemingly, she had to have gotten hit and we did see it, her body flying. Men chasing her see no body and assume she's dead.

That's the last we're shown of Seher as of now.

Me too. Really, your one line is so very apt. I too hope it stays like this. It's very obvious that they are putting more focus and are more meticulous. I hope it keeps up.

I disagree. IMO the last two weeks have been a let down apart from 1 or 2 episodes. The drama quotient was just not how it should have been. Most of the times I found my reaction to be "How bleh! " Neither was Tanveer's death very dramatic (Of all the scenes they could have chosen to show in the fbs they chose the most OTT ones ) nor was the greiving for Rehaan's death how it should have been. It was all rushed so that Season 3 could begin. And if the Nayi Sanam and SaHil2 scenes of the first episode in IM are anything to go by then one can imagine how absolutely fantastic Season 3 is going to be! 😆

I agree KK! Tho I loved the first 5-7 months of season 2, these last two weeks have def been better executed than most of season 2! I think since the 500th episode, these last two weeks finally gave episodes I enjoyed... It was visually well presented too! Tanveer's death, Aahil's breakdown on Friday as well as the brief reunion between SaHil the Friday before, along with the other scenes were very well directed! I am looking forward to season 3! The cast is def much better, while retaining the best from season 2! I do hope Khala, Khalu and Latif stay lol Honestly the one actor from season 2, who is not in season 3 and whose acting was very good IMO was Punit! The character was distasteful but he did a good job. For a new actor, he was very good! But I am glad Faiz is gone lol Anyway as for the new cast, so far Shazia is def better casted from the previous actress. The new characters are interesting and the actors casted so far seem like good actors! Hope this continues! Good post!

@bold, I agree with that. But they did the same with Razia as well, show her at her most villainous(but Razia was not an OTT villain, so). I guess they feel the need to show villain-y scenes only. A more rounded compilation of flashbacks would've been much more apt. Including her scenes with Aahil and Rehan...show her as how she was. But then some people would say the villain got unnecessary sympathetic scenes or what not.

About execution. I agree screenplay had some issues. When I mean execution I mean how the screenplay was executed and presented (a word should've used but didn't pop into my mind). Look at the whole package they have delivered. The actors are better, the direction is better, it's much tighter, how scenes are shot and put together are much more impressive, no hassles on editing.

S2 started more in a --build up from from rubbles. S3 is starting from a better standing.

@soup. Meaning there will be a clearer picture of where the show stands. Actually, to get the full picture it would be June, post IPL. But who knows if they will maintain this quality till then.

I wanted to make a post for Surbhi C and Punit, but I caught up like a week later. I will add Surbhi C too, because from the start she exuded a graceful Haya. Later the character evolved, but still she was good.

Punit deserves more praise than we've given him. Unfortunately the track was such that we hardly cared. He came in a bit hyper as Faiz, but he became the best actor of that trio RaHaFa. And by best, I mean he was very good on his own, not comparatively with the other two.

That one man "stage performance" he did when he was pretending to fight with Haya's attacker... really, he was 👏

I will partly agree n partly disagree...
I think start if season 2 was really very very good... Forvthe first 3 months it was executed very well . all the characters that were introduced were given a balanced importance n leads were the focus n righlty so... IMO the script n execution was also good but the actors were pretty bad .. The previous Nazia n Shaxia were cringe worthy though i liked Asma but azhar's track was a bit let down. .. Still due to the side's actors incapacity the execution might come as flat but where actors were good the screen play n execution was bang on... N then the whole falling in love n nikaah track was best of the lot... The execution n the screen play dialogues everyhthing was almost perfect ...
It kept coming down after the nikaah itself cz they started focusing on mulitple things at a time n quality was significantly affected... Worst of the lot was after they ended the swap... Though the swap had done its damage but after the swap they just could not clear the mess that they had created... 😕

Even i stopped relating to any character's plight/ pain etc etc...

I think Rehan's death track was very well executed too but how they ruined afterwards is another debate 😕

About the last 2 weeks .. I think we have been used to watching crap for so long that it did come as a respite but i still dint like the whole track... Bits n pieces were enjoyable but it certainly was not the best... The best has been frst 3 months in my opinion...

Although i do agree that the quality has certainly improved since Tanveer's death episode... They hv been doing v good since last to last thursday ... N friday's epi was a definite high ... Season 2 ended with a bang no doubt...

N yesterday's was really good too... I simply dint know how much time has passed as in i was totally glued .. Till ofcourse the butch came n spoilt my mood 😡
