Since the Cvs are such a buzzkill and we didn't get to see my AsYa bbys as parents, I wrote this down, long ago might I add. Constructive criticism and all kinds of comments are welcome! 😳 Either it's an OS or a Drabble, idk.
The house was filled with a comfortable silence, it's residents drowned in deep slumber, well they were until two synchronized loud wails erupted and ruined the peace.
"Mhhhmnomnom" she mumbled something indistinguishable and snuggled closer into the warmth emanating from the body beside her, who also deep in sleep, just pulled her closer and they fell asleep again. Only to be woken by the angry loud cries that kept increasing as time went past.
The couple opened their eyes with great difficulty, and struggled furthermore to keep them open, as they detangled their limbs from each other and rose to take hold of the situation.
One ran off to the crib, while the other dragged herself off the bed, sleep had always been a greater friend of hers. His face broke into a small grin, as he nestled the tiny squirming infant closer to him and rocked her gently, and just like a charm it worked and the baby was asleep. Kissing the baby on the forehead he gently lowered her down in the crib and climbed back in bed.
The source of the other wail though had bigger problems that needed to be solved, which her mother had already realised once she had picked up the baby, well who would miss that unmistakeable potent stench, so shutting all her sense of smell for the moment she swiftly cleaned and the changed the baby, who had stopped crying by now, the starry eyes drooping, as the baby was lulled back to sleep.
Sighing, she climbed back into the back, knowing fully well that sleep had eluded her. "Not sleepy Mrs khan?", he whispered snuggling into his wife, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind. She smiled, but retorted good-naturedly. "I was until your children decided to wake me up in the middle of the night."
"Yeah, I keep forgetting their my children when they're not doing something appreciative or cute or adorable " He told her sarcastically. "Precisely, and anyway you're the one who said I looked like a fairy." She answered, half giggling.
Peppering kisses down her face, he sniggered "hmm I don't seem to remember that, care to refresh my memory?" She moaned at the contact and answered him mischievously." You know, it was the time.. When I did something very modern and progressive and it annoyed the hell out of you by converting that saree into a Kurti."
"What?" He asked her, surprised and then the realization dawned on him. "That is not the time I'm talking about and you know that."
"Hmm, I don't seem to remember that, would you like to remind me?" She asked him suggestively.
He groaned, pressing his lips to hers, both moaning at the contact as things started heating up, he started dropping a path of kisses down her neck and her hands travelled all along his well-etched body.
This time, their romance was interrupted by a loud bang of the window, courtesy of the wind, the bang brought along loud cried, forcing Mr and Mrs Khan out of their bubble of love, to take care of the tiny sleep eluding monsters.
