Chapter 6
Asad ended the call and kept his cell in his pocket, he walked towards Zoya room and sat down next to her, she was tired and nervous. Asad held her hand, and smiled at her, he said "Zoya I talked to your mom and she said she will be coming to see you in a hour or so." Zoya couldn't help crying tear of happiness she was really happy she wanted her mom with her at this time. Asad kissed her tears away "babe don't cry, happy times are here, I promise." She smiled at him and said "Thank you so much Asad for being with me all this time, without you I would have a horrible and mis..." She couldn't finish the sentence because Asad put his index finger on her lips. "Shhh don't say that, it was my duty to help you." Zoya smiled at him. Zoya and Asad's friends were outside waiting for the baby to be born, everyone was excited to see a new bundle of joy.
It had been two hours, Zeenat walked in to the hospital. She was anxious and excited at the same time; she didn't know what she would say to her daughter. Zeenat walked into Zoya room and saw Asad sleeping on the recliner, but Zoya was awake she had her eyes close, she sensed someone at the door and opened her eyes, and saw her mom standing in the doorway. She walked towards Zoya and let out of cry, Asad woke up due noise and saw Zoya and her mom crying holding each other tightly. Zeenat spoke "How are you Zoya, I missed you so much. Im sorry, I'm such a bad mother." "No mom please don't say that, you have all the right to be angry and mad at me." "But, Zoya what I did was wrong too, please forgive me." Zoya smiled at her mom "Mom I was never angry at you and I forgive you, please stop crying." Zeenat hugged her daughter and kissed her forehead. Zeenat sensed two pair of eyes looking at them, which had tears in them. She walked towards him "You must be Asad" Asad smiled at her "Yes I am." Zeenat got on her tiptoes and went towards his forehead and kissed it. "Thank you for taking care of my child you are truly a gem" Asad said "You don't have to thank me aunty, I love your daughter and I would do anything for her." Zeenat walked out of the room and went to the waiting area where everyone else was sitting.
Asad walked towards Zoya and saw her breathing hard, Asad started to panic and he paged the doctor. The doctors came and told Asad to leave the room. The doctor told Zoya that it is almost time for the baby to come. Zoya told the doctor to call in Asad for her. Asad came in and saw zoya being ready for giving birth, He was excited and nervous he didn't know what to do, she was giving orders to everyone. Zoya calmed him down and said "everything is going to be alright, I promise, just don't leave my side and hold my hands."
Couple of hours later...
Zoya had give birth to a boy; Zoya had given Asad the opportunity to name the baby. Asad didn't know if he should use his biological father name or fosters parents, He decided to name his child Ahsan Ahmed Khan. He took the child in his hand and smiled at the baby and said "Hey boy, I am your father" Zoya smiled at the scene and told him to put the baby back in the crib, she told him to go home and freshen up. Asad and Zoya's friends all came in and congratulated them on being parents. Asad walked out of the room and saw Zeenat sitting and reading a magazine, She had given both of them her blessing and she made a prayer to God to keep them always happy.
Zeenat called Asad over and made him sit down next to her. She started saying "Asad I know zoya has been living with you and now you guys have a son, but I don't feel confortable letting her live in the same house with out being married or engaged." Zeenat knows that they were living in the same house since she left but she was mad at that time and no one eles would take care of her so she made herself calm. Asad looked at her and said, "I understand aunty, I had been thinking the same, I have something planned and I would like for you to help me." "Off course, thank you so much for understanding me."
Asad told Zeenat his plan, and she was excited she couldn't believe that her daughter would be engaged and she was happy that her daughter is going to marry a wonderful guy.
