Chapter 1
It was first day of high school! Zoya was walking in the halls with her best friends Humiera and Najma they were talking about what they did over summer. Zoya was not being herself she wasn't paying attention to the conversation she was worried about that one night-stand she had during summer at band camp with a guy she didn't know. She was walking around when she bumped in to a hard chest she was about to fall but someone's strong arms wrapped around her waist which helped her get back on her feet. She looked up and saw the same two eyes she had seen at band camp. She was getting nervous she tried to run but he held her from her arm and pulled her back. He cupped her face and pushed her hair behind her ear and said "Why are you in a hurry, you didn't forget about that one night we shared at band camp did you?" she just stared at his eyes which showed care and love she was about to say some thing but stopped when he spoke and said "by the way my name is Asad, Asad Ahmed Khan, what is yours again? Offering his hand for her to shake. She looked down at his hands hesitating to shake but she finally gave in and told her name "My name is Zoya" and she shook his hand and told him "Ill see you around I have to go to class." "Ok bye then see you around" he said and walked off with his friend Imran.
Zoya was spending time with her friends after school doing homework she was getting tired and wasn't feeling so well so she told Humiera and Najma that she is going home. She got into the house and saw her mom Zeenat cooking dinner. Zeenat saw her and told her "Go freshen up and come down for dinner your dad should be home from work and start taking care of yourself you look pale your only young once so have fun" She just smiled at her mom and ran upstairs in the bathroom, she took out a brown bag from her bookbag and took out a pregnancy test. She was feeling tired for couple of weeks and she was really worried when she didn't get her period this month and her mind always went back to that one night at band camp. She stood in front of the mirror while her hand was shaking holding the results which showed positive.
Next morning zoya got to school, she was at her locker putting her books in when her two best friends tapped on her shoulder from the back she got startled at first but then relaxed when she saw her friends who were with her since childhood. Humeira saw her face looking all worried and pale she asked "Zoya are you alright you look weak" Zoya started to tear up a little and tried to hide her tears but failed Najma and Humeria both saw her eyes getting teary and they both asked her "What is wrong Zoya" and she was about to break down right there but she held herself and ran to the bathroom, she opened the stalls and ran to the toilet and puked what ever she ate last night for dinner. Najma and Humeria ran after her and saw her on the floor crying. They helped her get up and got her cleaned.
Sitting outside in the courtyard Zoya felt a lot better. Najma asked her "Zoya what is the problem, is everything okay?" she just looked at her and started to tear up again, she couldn't keep this to herself she needed to tell someone and she was worried to tell her mom. So she decided she will tell her friends "I'm Pregnant" Najma and Humiera were shocked, they asked her "when did this is happen and where and who is the father of the baby?" she told them about the night at band camp but didn't mention the guys name. She was about to continue but she saw him coming towards her from the parking lot with his friends Imran and Ayaan. Humiera followed her eyes who was staring at him and she said "Is he?" and she just nodded her head.
