My mom who used to occasionally watch QH has now stopped watching and says I'd rather go for a walk than watch distastefulness where a sister gets her sister locked up and then goes around romancing 2 men...

And mind you she is a TRP audience. A retired teacher , has married girls and lots of time in hand...😆. And I'd say most people will have similar views.

Whenever she visited me she'd always tune in to Zee and watch the drama with me. But not anymore... Why do we assume TRP audience does not like romance? why don't we look at a the hit movies in India... most if not all will be love stories and most will have leads who have huge fan following. Occasionally there will be new comers too.

And who says we cannot have interesting story woven around a main love story... We only have to look at Sahil's journey till now and we'll know they had a story and around it a whole lot of interesting drama...

I guess QH has carved a diff niche coz drama is provided by all serials, but an in depth story with a dash of drama is always entertaining to watch.

exactly... right now the track in QH is seher and her horrible acting-confusing herself with sanam's character , disgusting tracks like seher selling herself for more money.. willing to do anything as long as u keep increasing the price, along with her incestuous romance that disgusts the viewers...

😆 It's subjective, the liking and disliking. Everyone thinks differently. And there is no incestuous romance at all. And the track is swapping. Not Seher. 😊

Lol... she stopped watching BB coz of actress change, had stopped watching kyunki saas bhi... after she couldn't keep track of 'THE' Mihir and has mentioned a couple of shows where she does not like the actor/actresses and hence does not watch. ...

I was not making anyone's point . I just read Dani's posts and this was posted to agree with her.. I feel KVB and Surbhi are amazing and they sell QH along with a good positive track...😆😉

Anyhow... distasteful drama anyways throws away people..case in point myself... i hated track so did not watch...

Mostly drama is not the forte of this PH.. Gul is great with love stories and creating crackling lead chemistry. She is unable to create the 'high' of the dramas..

KVB and SJ maybe be amazing but unless the story is compelling no one will watch it. Again, the story is what sells the show, not the couple or the actors. The story and scenes make or break the characters.

its never just one thing that sell's the show.
its equal combination of story, cast and acting..
here we have had great cast with great acting by KVB and SJ, but the minute SJ took on sehers role esp after the swap her acting isnt great as usual, the story is disgusting along with the character that has turned totally black...
i have seen shows with great storyline, but still bad TRP's cause they dont have that magic some couples have ,like saahil and survir have here...
so to conclude,,the reason many don't like this present track is a culmination of everything put together..seher's character, SJ confusing her characters, disgusting romance .

That's your opinion. I'm not here to fight with you over that. There's a story on SP with the worst acting but the story is holding the show together. I am here merely making my point that not everyone watches it for KVB and SJ. The average audience who watch the show for drama do not think like that. If they did, they would have stopped watching the show. The reason the show got an extension is because the audience still wants to watch the show and how the sister's life will progress.

It's rare that shows with great storyline doesn't work. But sometimes channel and time slot is the culprit in it too. It's not always about the couples.

To you it maybe be disgusting for others it's exciting. You cannot diss them just because they don't share your point of view. Seher deserves a happy ever after just like Sanam and she doesn't know Aahil is her BIL to feel disgust. When it comes out, the awkwardness will increase tenfold.

Why is this surprising? Portraying double role on a daily soap over a long period of time is neither practical nor beneficial to the actress who's got the job of portraying them. It's inevitable that one of them is killed off/undergoes face change. Since majority of audience is more connected to Sanam, it's obviously going to be the other twin that undergoes face change/dies.

LOL at the assumption that people only connect to Sanam. 😆

^^ I said majority of audience, not everyone. And it was not an assumption since ratings have only dropped since focus shifted from Sanam to Sunehri. So the LOL is on your LOL. 😆
