Sunehri comes face to face with Rehan. Who looks blankly at her in return. And greets her politely as Sanam...

Sunehri is very much upset, that someone so close to her, can't recognize her for who she really was.

<Hello! How do you think we are feeling about Aahil right now!!>

image

She is very much upset and weeps that he has to also be in this same house. However she tried to leave that painful (short) time, it is coming back to haunt her. She wonders how she is going to pretend with him being around.

Aahil finds her and tell her about Diwali preparations. He requests that she make Laddoos like those she made when she first came to the house. He remembers how delicious they were.

As Sunehri scrambles to think how to get out of this one, Aahil gets a bout of guilt. He visibly becomes somber and apologizes for how he treated her back then...

Sunehri unknowingly rubs it in, It isn't a very easy thing to forget the past <She's having flashbacks of Rehan btw> Isn't it too much to make someone make 100 kg laddoos overnight??

Aahil is very much trite and chastened. He apologizes profusely, feeling strange about the way she flippantly used sarcasm on him like that. He watches her unsurely. Sunehri laughs the matter off and goes to the kitchen.

Then she ends up blackmailing Khala and Khalu into making the laddoos for her at knife-point. Nice to see them squirm for a change.

They immediately run off to complain about her to Tanveer. Who seems to have caught her bearings and is up for a catfight with a worthy opponent. She aims to create doubt between Aahil and "Sanam" and ruin their love.

Oh Brother, Tanveer is becoming a typical saas now is she?

image

Then Sunehri is seen making a beautiful rangoli at the main hall. Aahil accidentally walks into it and apologizes, intent on helping to repair it unsuccessfully. She watches him do it wrongly and then repairs it herself.

He watches her and says, Now I know... You're definitely not Sanam...

<This troll attempt is not even amusing, Yawn...>

Precap: Dilshaad manages to get Sunehri's attention, she tries to say that she belongs to her family...

I'm left very upset about few things:

  • Sanam is still not shown.
  • Rubbing Aahil in his guilt felt very mean. I felt really bad for him. Sweetheart though Sanam was to forgive him of everything, he needed to realize what kind of a treasure he's got for a wife. That moment when Aahil stopped smiling and was swallowed by remorse really disturbed me. At least let the bloke know he's suffering in her absence instead of this awful feeling of insecurity.
  • Sunehri is way too glib. She is very quick to be upset about Rehan, but does not realize or want to know where her doppelganger has disappeared to and how Aahil must be suffering, just like she is.

Now if only he'd realize that she's missing !!

What a very convoluted plot it is becoming.

Sage, the first gif, is awesome and tahts exactly what i felt and am sure most of us.

and the upset part agreed with all you have mentioned..
. Sanam is still not shown.

To add on to the above points,

I just dont/cant connect to Sehaan love story. Not because of rehaan or anything (or ignoring that part).. the love story was hurried and ended equally.
I feel its OTT to show Seher is so madly in love with rehan.. i find it very funny and absurd. If Seher is really so madly in love with Rehan and upset and heart broken, cant she see aahil's love for his wife. she feels he is bewakoof and what bout she or Rehaan for that matter..
Above all, i am very upset because Aahil is shown clueless. I am sad that he is shown dumb and i cannot take it.
Sad, that Aahil is confessing and apologising, showering love, being caring/loving husband to a wrong person and he doesnt realise. Aahil Raza Ibrahim please wake up,,,

Sunheri deserved that whiplash of Rehan not recognizing her. She deserves it again and again.
Aahil-Sunheri scene is bittersweet for me. It was sad. So sad.

Tanveer is back to looking GAWGEUS again. That horrible saree for Kohinoor Hotel function is gone (well it was gone while she was bedridden past few episodes but now it's back to being consistent so far).

I feel today's episode wasn't a bad one at all. Both those Aaher scenes had some underlying irony to it. The scenes were well done and episode as a whole was well done too. Even if that Aaher scene made me sad and conflicted, still it was well done.

Awww Sagey. Keep the faith, love.
We've been through worse.

It sure sounds convoluted... but there'll be a way out - assured.

It seems many people are quitting the show?
Say you won't?

I am just going to add on from your previous post comment on sage's update.

Agreed. The ring is a material thing that only gets its substantial meaning from the relationship the couple is in, the ring itself does not. Completely agreed on the rest of Aahil figuring out it's not Sanam within a short time span is just not possible. And couldn't agree more on the whole "sensing" deal, Aahil has never really sensed, unless the situation presented itself as worrisome i.e. Aahil not wanting to lose Sanam and sensing he will lose her if he doesn't go to her immediately when she she doesn't respond to his texts/phone calls. He indirectly ends up saving her from being choked to death.

Ditto on your comments for today's episode, this was a really well done episode. . I watched it, and I didn't feel bereft of horrible writing/dragging. Seher definitely deserves the hit of not being recognized by Rehan over and over again (failure builds character and Seher, while she may possess a heart of gold, has been a con girl most of her life, she needs to face that while that may have been her job that can not be WHO she is).

For the first time, felt that there was a bond from Seher's end towards Aahil. She actually connected with Aahil which I found sweet because it was done in such a real, genuine way. I think her being able to connect with Aahil may lead her to uncovering either murder mystery whether it be nawab or AsYa. Him being such a good husband I think will win her over so that she may start conning Raziya as well. Or at least I hope so..but I saw a lot of potential/hope after today's episode. While AaHer scene was bittersweet in the sense that I wished Sanam was the receiving end, it was still a really good episode for watching Aahil go through that process and Seher to not judge him as this overly romantic cuckoo of a husband, but a real person of substance who has gone through a lot, but has changed because he really loves and appreciates his wife. Not saying she has gotten the full gist of that, but she is starting to see him as not a mark (re:prey), but as a relatable person. And that makes me happy for Seher, a girl who can't seem to relate to a lot of people and doesn't really have any friends. Makes me the see the potential for a great friendship btw jiju and saali. Seher in some ways, is beginning to grow on me...

Sage: Totally agree with gif on the precap...seriously who do they can think they are dealing with trolling us with that lame attempt? *rolls eyes*

Agreed to your whole post. But I especially agree here. She was genuine towards Aahil for the first time in that last scene. And the rangoli thing was a sweet scene and interaction. Only problem is that he would be impressed at "Sanam's" ability and to him it's one more thing to fall in love with about his wife. Except, it's not Sanam. But there was still the Rangoii scene was a good scene, an example of a scene which seamlessly included the character backgrounds without making it seem as though they were telling us rather than showing.

there is only thing that is troubling me.. if they keep showing aahil falling in love more and more.. its just so sick..sunehri hasnt acted like his wife, but he seems to be falling more in love with her antics, which is so her.. not at all sanam..
so doesnt it mean that aahil is actually falling in love with sunehri🤢

Ditto. I am not loving no Sanam, but I think I might be okay if we get more meaningful scenes that add to Seher's character and the plot. After today's episode, I was okay with it because allowed me to see the potential of the track and that let me enjoy the crazy khalla scenes with Seher threatening them with a knife even more. She is the sister indirectly getting retribution for all the wrong done to her twin in that mansion. Which is why Tanveer is enjoying the game more now bc she has a competitive player in Seher (a la Zoya), while Sanam does not play, but confront head on (a la Asad). While Sanam can definitely take care of herself, her style is different. She will confront the truth head on and seriously like her father (i.e. parda phash of Tanveer in front of malwis on her pregnancy scheme), while Seher is the epitome of her mother in that she will get it done more creatively (i.e.- using her detective skills to uncover truth and play the old cat and mouse game she did with Tanveer).

So in short, not really disappointed with the way things are unfolding...I don't know what my entire opinion of this entire sequence will be until it completely unravels, but for now not bad...
