I have not stopped watching yet. Even after today, I feel Aahil could never slap Sanam. If they ruin Aahil then I am done. I am just reacting to a spoiler which I hope like hell is incorrect. My heart tells me it's wrong, but that doesn't mean much.

@raingoddess, don't worry keep on defending Aahil unless it happens. I agree that no one should slap, but it's especially henious when they keep showing the hero always slapping the heroine like this.

For the talk that anyone will react that way for talking against their mother, nooo. You react and may shut that person out. But not everyone goes around slapping the person. People can have their physical violence in check, you know. And many people may want to...but would hold themselves back.

Aahil being an abused child. I didn't want to bring it up, but since it's brought up already I will say it. Him being an abused child is what makes it worse. See either he would never do it, or he will have some serious issues. Now if he were to slap, that means he has serious issues, and he should lose Sanam forever, even if he works through his issues with therapy and counselling. If he were to slap Sanam, it means that what Tanveer and what he believes is quite true (barring the Nawab part). It doesn't matter if he will end up working through those issues or not. Damage would be done, and consequences would be/should be permanent.

No I am saying the same, if someone says something about ur parents u overreact, maybe at most curse at them but not slap lol I completely agree the spoiler killed my mood but def I love QH n I hope it turns out much different! I love Aahil too and hope they don't lose the essence of his character because he is one of the few wonderful heroes! As for him being an abused child, yes def it doesn't make sense for him to do this. So far he has been shown to be repelling violence, even Rehan he never hit. When Sanam read his diary it was heartbreaking to hear what he went thru so unless the CVs have lost it, Aahil is suppose to be scarred but not unstable. His wounds are deep but have never allowed him to lose the humanity in him. CVs def need to rethink what they r showing...

@flora So what if it's fiction? Doesn't mean they can just show domestic violence for the sake of drama and use that as an obstacle.
I don't get it. What does it matter if it's fiction?

It's the fact that people are willing to excuse and be okay with it being used as a drama quotient and as an obstacle to love stories that makers don't think twice before showing such things.

And no, I don't expect the consequence to be permanent. Which is why if he slaps her, I would be done with the show.

Sorry. I know that's what you were saying. I was only directly replying to you in that paragraph where I mentioned your name. Everything else I was replying generally to various points mentioned within the thread.😆

No it is not. Look,, I know if it happens they would have Sanam going back. But the point is, that shouldn't be the case.

What do you mean without knowing the reason. We are reacting to a spoiler which we hope is wrong. But if it's correct it means he slapped her. You know when Asad slapped Zoya, there were all kinds of justifications for that too. Oh...so much justification.

Why does it matter what the reason is. He shouldn't slap her. BAS! That is it. It should not happen. He should not raise his hand on her. Either he is better than that, or he is not. If he is not better than that, then actually he is right in staying away from Sanam because is correct that he has issues.

The point is, Indian shows often show a heroine who has been slapped by her romantic interest, and they remain romantic interests and stay and end up together. The point is more that it shouldn't be shown in the first place. But it's shown again and again, and no one finds a problem with it. it's oh, it happened, now let's accept it, get some proper "redemption" and all is well and fine in the end.

Enjoy the show if/after he slaps her all you want. But I won't be. I'll be done and finished. Because it is not something which should be shown in a portrayal of a romantic journey.

Well then defend Aahil if/when he slaps her. I will be done with the show and won't bother with the show and couple anymore.

Same way Asad was defended, everyone can defend Aahil too.

And about relating he's not good for her or not, well actually that aspect is part of the story itself.

If you want to defend Aahil or say reason matter fine. But don't come at me with nari morcha. I too can call some names for those who want to justify a slap and seem not able to understand why it's such an issue.

That being said, proud to be nari morcha.
