become the trending fashion on small screen,
it remains risky for business. For typical saas-
bahu sagas, the leap generally turns out to be
favourable, whereas, mainstream love stories
cum family dramas fail to maintain the grip
over audiences and live up to expectations. It
happens because whenever a mainstream love
story comes to light, audiences instantly
connect it with the onscreen jodi and their
journey of togetherness; marking them
inseparable, eternal and irreplaceable. That is
why, most of the time, the makers of romantic
stories have to face outraged audiences while
opting for a character's death, separation leap
or a generation gap in love sagas.
Zee TV's popular love story cum family drama
Qubool Hai's fate was not an exception, when
the production house, 4 Lions Films -
considered to be the ultimate romance
producers on Indian GECs - decided to kill off
the onscreen pair Asad-Zoya (played by
Raquesh Vasisth and Surbhi Joyti ) and
continue the show with generation next.
However, the team moved on with their plan
and surprisingly, unlike many shows of the
genre, Qubool Hai has resurrected its almost
dead charm. The show still has a good grip on
TRPs and is also continuing to enjoy a large
fanbase. This exception adds to the merit of
Qubool Hai team as they have finely moulded
the script to fit with audiences' choices.
We can say that Qubool Ha i post leap is also
a complete package - a perfect blend of
romance, thrill, suspense, emotion and drama,
like its story prior leap. In fact, Qubool Hai
post leap appears as a perfect sequel to the
original story, with a much needed freshness
and makeover added. The characters are
written meticulously and performance by
actors are as splendid as it was before. The
script does avoid major loopholes while
blending stories of two different generations in
different timelines and technical execution is
as good as it always was. Emotional connect
with the audiences is maintained and the
transition from Asad-Zoya to their successors
flows naturally.
A special mention must be made here of the
lead actress Surbhi Jyoti, who transformed
into Sanam from Zoya in a span of merely two
days; and with the introduction of her
onscreen twin sister Seher recently, she has
been performing a double role very well. It
won't be wrong to say the real hero of this
romance-thriller is none other than Surbhi
Jyoti . Her chemistry with both of the male
leads is sizzling and Qubool Hai does still have
the fascinating feel of a 4 Lions romance.
Stay tuned to Qubool Hai as the show
progresses towards the exposure of Asad-
Zoya murder mystery and a deserved
vengeance by their daughters that will follow
soon after, along with the heartwarming love/
romance brewing up in every nook of the
show. Let's get bizzin!
