Lovely post and a very relevant issue you have raised.

Kis on street or in orphanages have a lot to face.

We as a society on the whole, (Govt, public, law, police) have failed these kids miserably and need to hang our heads in shame.

Seher's English - Kids bought up in orphanages too go to school. And not necessarily regional schools. That could be the reason.

Seher's skills - These are basic skills she could've learnt in a con school.

I agree something doesn't add up with Seher. Could be there is not only a history but also a story behind Seher;s growing up.

Something doesn't add with Razia too. But I doubt Razia has anything to do with Seher.

As for social issues, I don't think and dont' want Gul to present any social issues. The Social flies away and the issue takes an altogether different face. 😆

Very interesting post.

The way they presented Seher so far makes me believe that she was picked up by a Hindu con artist from streets after ASYA's murder and Seher might have grew up being part of her adopted mom's con life and in the process learnt style, English, hacking from her and may be Seher was even sent to a school to make her a perfectionist in coning people. After death of her adopted mom, Seher / Sunehiri is continuing her mom's legacy and attitude.

However, I would have preferred Seher to be picked up by Razia and bought up abroad as an educated, smart, business women. Due to lack of evidence Razia had to wait for right time to take revenge on Billi and kept tabs on her all these years and now Seher will be pitted against Billi by Razia to trap Billi and avenge the past deeds in a dramatic way. I wanted Seher to be a shrewd business women who takes away little by little Billi's strenghts including her money, power and sons to bring Billi to justice.
