I like seeing the guy jealous, but this same track has been run into the ground:
He sees and/or hears S and R talking and jumps to conclusions.

I don't want ARI to reveal R's feelings for her to S because he may think that even if she is wavering in her caring for him (ARI), this statement could reinforce her feelings toward R.

It is best if R says something about it to ARI and S overhears.
That way she can barge in and clear the air, as she is the open and honest type.
