nice post...

episode was bang on...

i just loved the somewhat shy Aahil excited like a teenage boy that he will show HIS GIRL to his friends.. the girl who mesmerized him to take his breaths and heart away...😳

but just when he was about to call her what he witnessed was so unexpected that he burned in fury , jealousy, n what not... anger takes the ability to stop thinking n whatever Aahil did afterwards he might not be thinking as well... insulted not only sanam but rehan as well 😭

the dance ... n that diaologue... with sanam's bang on answer... he himslef loves sanam's spirits as much as we do 😆 n his "unbeleivable" is always so awesome... thats second time hes spoken it n loved it again 👏👏👏

Yesterday, or, earlier in the evening (same day, I think), ARI was brooding about S...
... the moment he slid those bangles on her wrists, the way she looked back at him, how it felt so good to him...following that thought was the one about R stating that this wedding ought never to have happened...

So he was finding it very hard not to be a husband when she was so lovely in front of him and they are doing what a couple does during the celebrations, only for him to remember that, "Wait. This is so wrong. I cannot feel this way. I have no right to. R said this wedding ought never to have happened. This is so wrong."

Then she comes and says the simple words, "I am your wife, ARI."

And now he only thinks, "This is so right."

Post-interlude he is looking forward to introducing his wife to his friends, and there comes the snake in the grass. This time it has a name. R.
The green-eyed monster strikes and he cannot but help feel betrayed. Yet again.
Didn't she say she was his wife, then why is she cozying up to her ought-to-be-former-lover.

Then she says the words to wound his heart again, "I am not your real wife."
Flip-flopping is not the province of only politicians...it is, apparently, a tried and true womanly one as well. 😛

So, here comes the difference:

He has repeatedly wounded her pride and her dignity.
Knowingly.

She has repeatedly wounded his heart.
Unknowingly.

Is the scale equal?
In love, is there any such thing as equal?

That's why i call his love a very selfish one... It's only about him, not Sanam! He doesn't bat a lash when she is insulted, or is crying. He just watches...

He doesn't know how to I think, very poor interpersonal r/ship skills.

She forgot his horrible acts and actually smiled, that he quit drinking.

She cares, Gosh she truly has thick skin. She's going to behave normally now coz she saw the silver lining...

But we won't get an apology for his behaviour !!! 😭

I keep thinking, that only a separation can make him change his ways. He thinks Sanam is always there and he can ill treat her. Once he loses her, he's going to realize his folly...

God save us all!

The best part is ... he gave it to her. He did something because she asked him to.

He was softening towards her. Part of me wants to believe he actually wanted to avoid introducing his friends to her, knowing how they are, and how she might not like it.

But seeing her with Rehan hurt him immeasurably. He felt betrayed.

He may be punishing Sanam for all his issues of abandonement and abuse.

I felt really mad. This was grounds for war. I wanted no less than a heartfelt apology for Sanam.

But bless her soul, hearing that he quit drinking because she asked him to made her forget his crazed behaviour.

This truly is a strange twisted love story...

KV's jealousy was powerful !

It felt really uncomfortable to watch. When a man is so jealous that he forgets his manners and doesn't hide his reactions.

I had a Shah Rukh-in-Kabhi Alvida na kehna feeling watching KV yesterday (That movie makes me uncomfortable too, like the original movie Closer)

Sanam needs but a word of caring from him. All she gets is negativity: anger, jealousy, misunderstanding, rudeness, insults. Granted he came to her rescue twice, but flops back to negativity instantly

Beautiful post.

Aahil has very unbalanced emotion to handle right now. Previously whatever feelings was there, controlled by guilt, ego and rudeness. Now this new found emotion is hard to handle. Only Sanam' s confession will give right direction.

Wondering how the aftermath of his jealous tantrum will be, meltdown or more manhandling ??

He really looked like he didn't think Sanam and his friends would get on very well and wanted to avoid it. He wasn't embarrassed by her, in fact he showed off his wife, "Mine,Mine, Mine !!!"

She's Mine , Rehan. Buzz off !!

WHile i love the sentiment, I feel Sanam's pain.

Someone should gif Aahil saying "Unbelievable..." *lightbulb moment*

Yes, it was really good. I was transfixed with my hands covering my mouth saying OMG the whole time... OMG Nooo !! 😆

Really SJ, KV and Shehzaad are so awesome , they blaze on screen, that you don't realize the extras are so lame...
