Zoya waked up early in the morning looked around confused at her new room ..and that's when the Reality stroked her that she was married and tat her life was at stake ..
She folded the prayer mat kept it in her suitcase back and went out of her room ..
"Kheer , Biriyani lunch mein aur breakfast ke liye kya khayenge vo Bread ya Sandwhich ? "she questioned herself and made both the choice ready and rushed to her room seeing the time ...
"Ammi ki ghar bhi jaani hai ..aur mein bhi kitni dher kardi "she kept moving looking down and mumbling and collided with Asad ..
" Ouch ! "she winced in pain making herself ready to hit the ground ..But that never came,instead she felt herself being held in mid ..
He came out from his Room , thinking about his decision and that's when she came from the other side talking to herself land collided with him ..
She was about to fall and before that he wounded his arms around her waist preventing her from falling ..
He looked at her , her eyes was closed she was preparing herself to fall he guessed,clad in her baby pink salwar without any makeup , yet she looked ethereal .
She opened her eyes and slowly took in her surroundings and looked at him one could clearly see their stressed state from the dark circles down the both of their eyes ..
She wriggled in his arm making him come out of his revive and he left her ..She straightened and looked at him ..
"Good Morning Mr.Khan !" she said hesitantly ..
"Good Morning ! "He wished back quietly and went to the Dining table and she walked behind him and set-ed the table up to him and went inside the Kitchen and brought the Dishes to the Table ..
"Where is the cook ?" he asked ..
"Cook ? Unhe toh maine ghar bhej diya ! "She stated ..
"Kyun ?" he asked shocked ..
"Mr.Khan mujhe khana banani kaafi aachi se aathi hai ..Toh phir Cook ki kya jarrorat hai ? " She asked innocently ..
"Look, Ms.Farooqui yeh meri ghar hai aur yahan sirf aur sirf mein decide kar saktha hun ki kise rehna hai aur kise nahi ? Samjhi aap ? "he asked irritated by her ..
She looked at him shocked ,"Allah miyah yeh itne dominating kyun hai " she thought to herself ..and nodded at him .
She have to adjust with him because she didn't had other choice ..
" Aap kya khayenge Bread ya Sandwich ?" she asked coming upto the table ..
"Aap rehne dijiye ! Mein khud karlugi "he said stopping her from helping ..
He looked at the Table and something caught his eyes ..He looked at the Sandwich which had smilies spread on it ..
He looked it and slowly a smile crept on his face .Zoya looked at him curiously but he didnt wanted to be soft to her ..
He stood up from his seat and moved to the kitchen and made his Special Black coffee for himself and made his breakfast cereal himself and sat down to eat it ..
Zoya looked at hm incredulously shocked to see a human drink such a bitter tasted coffee.unlike hers which was milky and sweet ..
He ignored her looks and had his breakfast read his newspaper completely ignoring her ..
" Ahem, "she cleared her throat nervously..".Mr.Khan ! Aap kheer khayenge ? " she asked sweetly..No Thanks ! He spatted..Her face fell immediately , she sighed ..spared a last glance at him and moved back to kitchen ..
She tried to pack Lunch for him because he was all ready in his Suit to go to office ..
He looked at her doing something in the Kitchen and thought about the changes in his life ..All of a sudden he had to get married , and that too not to his girl-friend but some other girl ..
He least expected that to happen ..And now she was behaving as if they both got married willing ..He could see her trying hard to act normal..
But he can see her inner turmoil in her eyes..He didnt want this marriage to work but he had no other go too..
His mother had strictly gave her Ultimatum yesterday night that she didn't wanted them to Divorce or to do something foolish in her absence ..He didn't had other go now ..He had to face this Problem now..He cleared his throat gaining her attention ..
" Ms.Farooqui he called out again when she turned her attention to her work .." She looked up from the counter to see him standing up from his seat..having his hand at back..Preparing himself to talk..
" Vo mein , Actually u don't have to think about Divorce , I mean at least not for now ..We can work on it Later, Let everything be how it is .Aap yahi rahegi meri ghar mein , meri biwi bankar ".he said looking straight in her eyes ..
How much ever it was difficult to accept .. The truth was that she is his wife ..so, he tried his best to accept the Responsibility ...He never ran from his responsibilities , He was not a coward ..
She looked shocked..Time seemed to stop there...Tears started welling up in her eyes..It was difficult for her as much as Asad felt ..
But suddenly she remembered something, " Mr.Khan" she called out ..Tanveer ? she questioned quizzically .He looked at her confused ..He didnt think about her at all .
" Mein sambhal loongi .".He said and moved to his room..
She can guess what that Shouting Beauty will do him .But she couldn't do anything ..She couldn't help him out from this .
Because, she herself was caught in this Marriage mess helplessly .
She nodded her head smiling thankfully at him ..He went to his room silently ..
She quickly packed up his lunch box and kept it on the table and rushed to her room remembering to call her mom ...
By that time, Asad came out from his room with his brief case in hand and speaking to someone in call ..
Aacha teekh hai ,, Mein bas pahunch jaunga kuch vaqt mein keep all those files ready he ordered and ended the call ..
He came to the hall and looked at the lunch box packed took that with him , completely forgetting that it was not his cook but his newly-wedded wife made dish ,and rushed to the door looking at his watch..
While Zoya called him from behind "Mr.Khan "she called out ..
Ms.Farooqui mujhe late horahi hai ..We can talk later he said not looking back ..
Mr.Khan mujhe bahar jaani hai toh mein kya karun she asked loudly ..Making him come back and he opened the chest - drawers of the table in the hall and gave her the keys of the house and pushed the spare keys in his pocket and said " Aap bahar jayegi toh ghar lock karke chabhi leke jaayiye meri paas spare keys hai he said like teaching a kid ..And she nodded looking at him having all furious look .
He started moving back to the door ..and soon came out of the house and rushed to his car..
The House phone started ringing all of the sudden she looked confused should she attend the call or should she cal back the Angry Lion to attend the call..
She choose d the first to be the best option and went to attend the call ..
Hello ! she said as soon as she kept the phone on the hear ..
Zoya ! the caller said , making her smile sadly . Aasalam alaikum Phoopi she said .
Wa'alaikum assalam beta she greeted back smiling to herself thinking how her D-I-L identified her just by her voice even thought they have just met once ..
Kaisi hai aap Phoopi ? she asked .
Mein aachi hun !Tum kaisi ho ? aur Asad kahan hai ? she asked ..
Phoopi mein teekh hun ! aur Vo office gaye hai .she answered.
Kya Office ? Nikaah ki agle din hi koi Office jaathe hai kya ?vo bhi apni biwi ko ghar mein akhele chod kar ? she asked angrily ..
Phoopi , Aap jaanthi hai na unke liye yeh sab she tried to reson even before that Dilshad started talking..
kitna mushkil hoga yeh sab yahi kehna haina zoya tumhe ? she finished her sentence ..
"Phoopi unhe kuch important meeting tha isliye unhe jaana pada ! "she reasoned ..
"Bas zoya tum Asad ko support mat karo ! " she scolded ..
"Phoopi ," she called out ..
"Hmm, Sab kuch teekh hojayaga zoya tumhe tumhari phoopi pe yakken hai ki nahi ? "she tried to convince her D.I.L who was finding it difficult to voice out her fears.
"Phoopi mein aap pe bahut yakken karti hun .."she said surprised of how her M.I.L found the reason even before she said it ..
"Phir ? Kya hua ? Tum dekhona Zoya sab kuch bahut jaldi teekh hojayega ..Meri faisla kabhi galat nahi ho sakthi hai ..Asad zaroor badlega beta.."She said confidently ..
"Aur Batao Tumhari rasoi ki rasam kaisi kiya ? "she asked trying to change the topic ..
"Phoopi maine aaj Biriyani banayi aur phir Kheer bhi banayi thi "she said happily
"Aur Asad ne khaya ? Kuch bola usne ",she asked excitedly ..
"Nahi phoopi unhone khaya hi nahi " she said sadly and remembered that she has not given him his lunch box and rushed to the table in search of the Lunch Bag ..
"Allah Miya "she sounded confused ..
"Kya hua ?" Dilshad asked worried .
"Phoopi maine Lunch Bag pack karke yahan table pe rakha tha par ab toh vo gayab hogaya,"she said innocently ..
That's when the fact striked both of them ..
"Mr.Khan leke gaye honge ! "Both said simultaneously ..
"Hmm, Ab toh Maza ayega "Dilshad said ..
Phoopi ab kya kare ? She asked confused ..
"Ab ! Tum ek typical wife ki tarah uske Lunch khane ke baad call karke pucho ki Lunch kaisa tha ? "she teased ..
"Phoopi ! "she whined ..
Aree ! Dekhthe hai ki kya hota hai ! aur Tum kya mujhe phoopi laga ke bula rahi ho ! Ammi bolo beta she said faking anger in starting and sounding lovely in the end ..
She smiled behind her tears and called her " Ammi ",..
"Ammi , Ammi se yaad aya mujhe jaakar Ammi se bhi milni hai ? Mein ab jaake ready hojaun" she asked ..
"Are haan ,Jao Jao ! Zainab bhi tumhari intezaar kar rahi hogi !" she said ..
"Ammi, aap ??" she started nervously ..
"Meine use kuch nahi bataya beta , aakhir mein bhi toh ek maa hun ..Samaj sakthi hun beta" she answered her unasked question surprising her D'I'L..
"Thank u Ammi, "she said smiling tearily ..
"Ammi, aap se ek baat puchun "she started ..
"Haan pucho ! "she said ..
"Ammi , Meri kehne se pehle hi aap meri baath kaisi samajthi hai "she asked not able to keep the curiosity up to herself .
"Huh ? Mein tumhari Ammi jo hun isliye ."she said laughing at her Bahu..
"Huh ? "Zoya asked confused ..
"Har Ammi ko apne bachon ki pareshani bin bataye samaj aathi hai Buddhu , she said laughing still..
Zoya smiled at the other end and Thanked God for giving her one another lovely mother in the form of her saas..
"Teekh hai ab tm jao Zainab se milo phir baat karte hai huh ? "she said ..
"Jee Ammi ! Allah Hafiz "she said..
"Allah Hafiz beta "she said and cutted the call ..
