Part 3:

Close to six months have passed, the semester exams were over, and the result were out, as expected zoya came in the top, with haider coming next. It was time for relaxation, and it was the campus culturals. The whole campus was buzzing with activites. Being an Master students, they were involved organizing the events.. and zoya was very active in that, and decided to participate only on 3 .. with one being an elocution, dance and other being an fashion show.. asad being the young prof, he was roped as judge for whatever activity they organized..

Zoya though being a talented student, was nervous when it was her turn to give the speech, though it was well prepared. When she took the podium, she looked at the pin drop silence in the auditorium, made her nervous.. her eyes roamed the crowd, searching for a face to look on, and she wished haider in the front, but he was organizing some other program.. atlast it landed on the front, were judges were sitting.. the eyes connected. And the smile on the face gave her the confidence.. and she started her speech, one she got her flow, the eyes signaled her to connect with the audience too.. and she tried to look around... and she did succeed in giving a wonderful talk.. as her talk came to end, the eyes met once again.. this time.. there was a pride and joy echoed in the vision... as she concluded, she had a standing ovation from the audience.. and the pride was reflected in both teacher and the student.

The next day it was dance competition, though he was not a judge, he went to watch it..saying curiosity... when zoya came to perform.. it was a kathak... she was doing a classic form of dance. And the song she choose was

" Ek Radha.. Ek Meera... Dhona ne. Sham kho chaaha..." this song is about the love both meera and radha for lord Krishna... asad was just mesmerized by her expression.. the eyes movement.. her steps.. it just held him...the way she expressed love in her face.. a spark fell into his heart.. and by the time the song ended..something changed inside.. he just didn't know what it is... all he just know was it was more then admiration for her.. may be he thought it is affection now.. care.. he was feeling so good then she won it.. it felt that he has won it.

The next was the fashion show, as usual, he was the judge.. it was like 3 rounds.. one traditional, one modern.. and one classic... now he was just curious to know how she will be.. now they had male counterpart too..it was haider who wanted to participate , so he roped zoya to be his partner.. as he didn't want anybody else... as the show started, when the traditional round came, she was dressed in mallu white saree. And haider in white dhoti and white shirt., for a classic, she wore a red full length, and hair styled and for the modern she wore a simple floral skirt, with white top... asad just couldn't take his eyes of her.. bcoz he has always seen her on usual uniform, and even on casuals, she used to wear jeans and top...

He always know she looks beautifull from the first time he met.. but now she looked all the more beautiful.. as the show ended, the came down, and asad eyes just followed her shamelessly, and saw her hugging a girl.. and zoya pulled thg girl and moved towards him.. and she introduced asad to her..

Z: Mr.Khan.. this is my Sis Humeira.. she is doing B.Arch.. 2 year...

A: hai..

H: asad... right.. I heard so much about u from aapi and haider.. they keep singing ur song at home..

A: ohh..

Z: humi... please don't mind she has a big mouth..

Haider joined.. Ha: yeah she has a very big mouth... he laughed..

Hu: haider.. she beat him, and haider hid behind asad.. and asad smiled at the comfort thet shared..

Ha: Zoe.. it is time. We have to go home.. if not I will get scolding from uncle.. and he pulled zoya hands. And they bid their goodbye to him, and moved.. asad eyes dropped automatically to zoya hands, which was held by asad.. his eyes followed her... she turned, and the eyes locked and she smiled and waved a bye.

The class continued for the next week, asad heart was jumping on its own,whenever he goes to her class, and when she questions him, or argues with him on his subject.. and his eyes absorbed her face, the eyes, the small flock of hair, that disturbed her.

It was time for IV- Industrial visit.. which is just name for them to roam around.. and they planned a 3 day trip..

Though asad initially said No to accompany them, when zoya asked he just nodded in a yes.. he and another female staff was accompany them to their trip to shimla.. they took a flight to delhi and then AC bus to shimla. As they were moving out of the airport, zoya was carelessly moving the trolley, and she slipped, and her legs sprained, and she called out loud in pain.. zoya he called out in panic and moved forward to help her , only to see haider ahead of him holding her..his heart felt a bit bad and bit jealousy.. looked at haider.. he brushed it moved forward to enquire.. only see zoya not allowing haider to touch her leg and tie the crap bandage, as it was just a small sprain.. in her left foot.. haider looked at him for help.

Asad slowly bent down and took her legs and placed it in his lap, and zoya couldn't say anything, and she held asad shoulder as he tied the bandage and tightened her grip due to pain.. he finished tying, and said it is done..

Z: thank you..

A: can u walk now..

Z: I think I can.. as haider came by her side as support.. haider tried to carry her luggage too, but asad offered to bring them and they moved forward.. with asad behind watching her limping. After dinner they boarded their bus to shimla.. with zoha sitting next to each other and asad sitting in the front.. after some time asad just walked inside the bus, just to check zoya, only to see her sleeping by the window and haider looked up at him..

A: how is she..

H: she is ok . due to the pain killer, she has slept..

A: ok.. as asad turned towards his seat..

H: asad, will u sit with her for sometime, if it is ok with you I want to watch the movie with guys there. He pointed to his friends watching movie in the lap in the back seat, asad just nodded and asad took his place.

After sometime, the lights were dimmed in the bus, and zoya moved in her sleep and placed her head on his shoulder and slept. It brought a jolt on his body.. and smile on his face. The hair disturbed her face again, and he held them back with his hands, and a smile appeared on her face in thanks. She made herself comfortable in his shoulder and slept.. he felt peace.. and satisfaction... and he leaned back and closed his eyes.

As the morning dawned,he woke up to see them in the same postion, and looked around to see people still asleep, he slowly placed her head back in the window, got up and moved towards the front, and opened the door and stood there looking at the nature passing by.

The driver tuned the radio..and the song slowly played out...

Pehla..pehla.. pyaar hai.. he turned to see zoya sleeping peacefully...

Song was due to my buddy aksasya... since I am not suppose to say thanks to her... a big hug for you...🤗
